Relaxing Getaway

The property and location away from the other cabins in the area was perfect. You are away from the main roads, but still close enough to the main town when you need supplies or a date night out. The view of the stars and the wildlife in the cabin were stunning. The only complaints were the hot tub was dirty when we tried to use it (our fault for not checking until the last night) and the grill could definitely use a deep clean. Overall great stay and location.

Nice cabin and great location. The water was not desirable and could see the stains on the shower head and diswasher. The water also smelled horrible. There were also some cigarette butts left outside on the deck in an ashtray from a previous renter. Other than that the cabin was great and would stay again.

Family Trip

Cute little cabin. Great space for a family of 4. Quick drive to everything in town, but gave the feeling of being out in the wilderness. Hot tub was a fun added bonus after day hiking. Only complaints were the water pressure in the toilets. Shower was great, toilets don't like to flush every time. Make sure you bring your own water to drink and cook with. The water comes out brown and smells of very strong well water. I would defiantly stay at seven eagles again!

Issues but Good Communication

We actually had issues with this property. There was problems with the heater and plumbing to name a few. The property manager was very helpful though and since the problem wasn’t able to be fixed immediately, they moved us to a new property. We appreciated the great communication and will be using them in the future. The property listed was a cute little cabin in the woods, but it really only slept 4 people. The extra beds were cots that you can make up but weren’t very comfortable so the kids just slept on the couch. The water did smell horrible like the other reviews mentioned- sulfur/rotten egg smell. The stairs were VERY steep and not safe to use in the dark- more of a ladder to the loft.

Pretty View

The view from the cabin is beautiful. Unfortunately the heat wasn’t working due to the extremely cold weather we had so we had to be moved to another cabin. Our replacement cabin was awesome but a bit difficult to find after dark. We hope to stay at this cabin in the future since we didn’t get to this time. Management was super helpful getting us situated in the new cabin and they were very apologetic about the heat being out as they couldn’t get it fixed in time for our stay.

Great family cabin

My family had a great time in this cabin. There was plenty of room and supplies for our family of four. The central location was great for short commutes to all the things.

Overall it was just ok…

The location was decent, was at the top of a hill but still lots of neighboring cabins. The cabin itself came with a hot tub but temperatures prevented the use of that. The grill however was pretty old and the burners didn’t seem to all ignite so we cldnt use that either. The cabin has huge windows all around and no curtains which I assumed wldnt be too bad if the Main Street didnt also wrap around the cabin. The inside is nice and comes with all the essentials so that was a plus. I’m guessing the water stains the toilet because the bowl inside was yellow. The lights are kinda spotty and the ceiling fans didn’t seem to work either but I didn’t press the situation too much since it was cold outside. The heater worked flawlessly which was a huge plus. Overall the stay wasn’t too bad and although we may stay again it wldnt be in that particular cabin.

Peaceful Getaway Perfect for Small Families

We loved our time at Seven Eagles! Our family of four stayed here over Thanksgiving, and we all very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as listed, and the kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, pots/pans, and dishes to cook and enjoy meals at home. The surrounding cities had fun, reasonably-priced activities that the kids enjoyed. Perfect mix of relaxing down-time and outings. We all enjoyed the foosball table and campfire. So many memories made here!

Great stay

Great stay at this beautiful cabin. I was concerned about the smell of the water and the shower because of precious stays but it was not nearly as bad as I had read! The water pressure wasn’t great but completely unnecessary. Pretty cabin and great view.

7 eagles cabin

My wife and I loved the cabin, and the location is great. The cleanliness was good also but there is a few problems with the cabin. 1 Some of the light switches did not seem to do anything and some should be replaced. 2 The bedroom ceiling fan makes a lot of noise on low speed and the living room did not work at all. 3 There are some pedestal fans that do not work and need to be trashed. 4 A filtered water faucet at the kitchen sink would be nice for cooking or drinking. With that said we enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay at 7 eagles.

Ok but could have been better.

First let me say that we had a great three day stay at Seven Eagles. Having said that, there are several things that the property management need to be aware of and anyone booking this cabin need to comprehend up front. 1: The baking sheets under the ovan had NOT been clearned... they were covered in oil and still had burned pieces of old cookies on them. 2: The toilets need to have a good scrubbing with a product like CLR to remove the heavy stains that are quite noticeable in the bowl. 3: Potential renters need to be aware the water to the cabin comes from a well and has a heavy sulfur smell and taste. At times over powering. I don't know if this is seasonal or if it's that way all of the time. The week we stayed is was really bad. We had to use bottled water to even brush our teeth. 4: The refrigerator worked sporadically. I kept moving meat and dairy back and forth between the frig and the freezer to keep it fresh because the frig never seemed to cool down enough to do the job, even when set to the lowest possible setting. So, yes there were some negatives. However, they did not affect our ability to enjoy the forest and each other. The cabin is located in a wonderful spot and was easy to find. So, I'm not going to tell anyone to not rent this cabin, but you need to do it knowing what you are going to get up front so that you can plan on it and not be surprised.

Nice and Quiet

We had a great stay. We loved the location of the cabin. All of the surrounding cabins had nice, spacious lots so there was privacy. The cabin was clean and we didn't really have any issues other than a few minor things like light bulbs being out or something small like that. We attributed those to things to our stay just being at the end of summer. For the price, it was super nice.
