Wilderness Club at Big Cedar offers the ultimate family-friendly retreat leaving the impression of rustic elegance and ideal extended family vacations! There, you can enjoy the unique charms of the resort's wilderness lodge architecture and its beautiful natural scenery.

Approximately 450 square feet, this spaciously warm and homey state of the art studio features 1 King Bed and 1 Sofa bed in the living area including a kitchenette, bathroom and laundry is in the common area. Maximum of 4 occupants.

The person checking in must be 18 years of age (or older). With this notion, please prepare a VALID ID and credit card in your name. A $100 Pre-Authorization from any major credit card upon checking in is required. Cash is not accepted. After purchase you will receive an email confirmation showing your name on the reservation as the guest checking in within 14 days of check in date. Please bring a valid form of Picture ID. However, if you would like to change the name of the person checking in after you have provided this information, there will be a $99.00 name change fee. Any damages will be charge upon check-out.

Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Hence, if you have any concerns, our office are open 24 hours to respond to your requests. For here at Wilderness Club at Big Cedar we ensure that your stay is comfortable and well-served to your satisfaction.

Family vacation

The three families were in the same complex, but it would have been way better if our request to all be together had been honored. We booked over 6 months ago, so there was plenty of time to work that out. We probably wonā€™t be coming back.

Big cedar is amazing. The property is beautiful. So much to do as a family. The views are amazing. Property is so clean and overall just perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Quick Cute getaway

Perfect for a few nights of relaxation. Maintenance closet directly across the hall made for noisy moments, but it was minimal. The area behind headboard (which is visible when you plug/unplug phone charger) has 1 inch of dust about 5 feet long. Thatā€™s sits about 2 1/2 ft from your head at night.

they said please let people know to quit telling them who the owners are they only. need to know who the room is reserved unders name when we checked in seemed a little annoyed by this. Only other thing that wasn't great was the water never would get hot in tub or hot tub only Luke warm. Great beautiful place otherwise.

Great accomodations and overall very satisfied.

The condo was excellent, but there was some confusion on transportation around the area between VRBO and Big Cedar Lodge. We had to find out how to transfer from Wilderness shuttle to Big Cedar shuttles depending on destination. Also, We had signed up for several activities for our grandkids. It was not mentioned where these activities were located. Also, when we called seeking information about the activities nobody seems to know without putting us on hold.

The room smelled like cooked fish. Luckily we had cinnamon spray with us. I was disappointed that the room we rented did not have a washer and dryer. We rented a studio by mistake.

Wilderness Club

There was a marked difference betweenWilderness Club & Resort stays. The Club check in was chaotic and stationed in order to get you to book a showing. Our cabin had a couple glitches. The tv needs up dating as it did not steam, the remote did not have batteries, the cabin did not connect to WiFi without calling technical support, and the refrigerator freezer compartment dumped water on the floor, and the lodge does not offer an ice machine. Once settled in the stay was quite relaxing give the surroundings.

Exceptional Escape!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Wilderness Club. Check in was a breeze, no surprises, and we were able to enjoy all the amenities. Big Cedar Lodge has world class dining. Our lodging was cozy and clean. We toured Dogwood Canyon by bike, enjoyed the Run the Rock 6 mile race, swam, had a blast in the pools, at the marina, and got to take in a complementary movie night and sā€™mores. This was our most enjoyable family weekend in quite a while!

Like a world of it's own

Everything was so pretty and fancy. The Wilderness Club staff was awesome. I got sick and had a very scary TIA. The resort medical team was there immediately and stayed with me all the way until I was on the ambulance. I am an RN and I was very impressed.

Wilderness at Big Cedar

Wilderness at Big Cedar is always great. The pools and the grounds are beautiful. The shuttle made getting around very convenient. The studio is nice, kinda of tight quarters for a family of 4 with teenagers. Regardless, we would do it again! Thanks for the opportunity to stay.
