About this property

Escape to rustic Elora at the Wright's Coach House! Our coach house is tucked in the trees at the edge of town and will give you peace and quiet but is still only a short, but scenic, walking distance to all of the amenities that our historic town has to offer. As locals of Elora we are excited to share all of its secret spots, local treasures and ‘must visit’ stops. From our beautiful restaurants, to cozy pubs and unique shops we are ready to be your guide or to give you the quiet and peace you are seeking. Please come and pay us a visit!

With a convenient checkin time of 3pm and check out time of 11am.

This private two bedroom house on our property can sleep 6 guests very comfortably but can accommodate 8 (with an additional charge) and comes with two separate bedrooms, both with cozy queen sized beds. There is a full bathroom with rain shower, full kitchen, and a spacious sitting room that has a sofa bed and futon couch for additional sleeping. From each bedroom, the kitchen and front room you will have plenty of scenery to take in! This is a perfect location to stay if you are in town for a wedding at our beautiful Elora Mill or just simply wandering the village, taking in all we have to offer.

Come spring you and your company can sit out on the back deck and take in the quiet while you BBQ steaks for dinner. In the summer months we offer a fenced-in area for your pets (at an additional charge) that can run free at the edge of the forest coming right off the deck steps. We are pet friendly with a $45/night/pet fee.

The coach house comes with a cozy electric fireplace for the winter months and air conditioning for those summer days that just won’t cool down. Free wifi and a 55” TV are provided as well as a full kitchen that can easily be used to make a full roast dinner! The dining area can accommodate the entire family or you can simply sit at the breakfast bar for your morning coffee (coffee machine also provided).

Shuttles can be provided to and from the Elora Mill for those of you attending weddings!

Guests have use of the coach house only, which is adjacent to the main log home, with a parking spots in front of the first garage door.

This place was amazing. The pictures although very good don't even do it justice, it's actually much better in person. Melissa and Matt were great to deal with. A very nice private deck off the back where my wife and I had breakfast every morning and cocktails at night. The inside was spotless and a great layout with kitchen and living area. Very close to the Elora downtown with shops and restaurants and the Elora Gorge was a 10 minute drive. We are already looking forward to going back next year so I would highly recommend this place. The Coach House is perfect for a quiet getaway.

Well appointed, relaxing, roomy. Quiet location in the middle of nature. Easy access to everything. Great wifi and TV. Kitchen is lovely. Great lounging furniture. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Cute, cozy, amazing place to stay

This place was perfect for a girls getaway! It was very clean, well decorated with very unique items. Great location, located at a quiet dead end road and walking distance to the downtown area. The hosts were great and made sure we had everything we needed and also left a nice welcoming gift! I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Fall weekend away

The coach house was very comfortable for our long weekend visit. Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, clean, and quiet. Perfect base for exploring Elora, fall markets, apple-picking and walking in the Gorge.

Elora Getaway

It is a lovely property, private and surrounded by trees along with being only minutes from Elora and close to nearby attractions like the Elora Gorge and Quarry areas. The Coach House has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. It is comfortable, cozy and clean. I'd love to stay there again next time I'm in the area.

Awesome stay!

The listing is beautifully decorated, totally stocked with what you need and extras, and a beautiful back porch to enjoy! Not as private as we expected and when owners are in the yard/garage you can hear everything but wasn’t a huge deal! Between the comfy furniture, slippers, robes and amazing beds we were relaxed by the time we left!!

Elora wedding at old mill spa

The Wright house did not disappoint, tucked away in a quiet cul de sac, surrounded by trees, the apartment above the owners garage was lovely, the two large bedrooms had fabulous mattresses and bedding. Although we did not cook while there, the kitchen was fully equipped. A large outdoor deck would be great if staying in the summer. It is about a mile from the Old Mill, but in summer would be a beautiful walk. The owner was great at communication and we would highly recommend this rental.

This was an ideal gathering place for family from Waterloo, Toronto and out-of-province, with walking distance into Elora (which is probably handy in the summer!).

Private, nestled in the woods! Only 2 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Elora. Beautiful area. Matt and Melissa are awesome hosts - they were helpful every day, making sure we had everything we needed and gave us several recommendations for things to do. The Coach House itself is massive - plenty of room, all open concept. Highly recommend!

Great Place! Close to everything in Elora!

Really enjoyed the quaint quiet location! The place was beautiful and hosts were very kind and communicative! Price was fair, loved that it was pet friendly! We love our fur babies and they were very happy to be with us to! Everything you needed was there, towels, toiletries, coffee etc. thank you for a fantastic stay! Love that the hosts told us about some great restaurants and pubs and we did chekc them out and enjoyed everything!

Spacious, clean and modern while tastefully decorated with antiques and local photographs. You will have everything that you will need to relax and enjoy the area. Everything is a short and/or walk away. Had a great stay as a couple with a small dog.

Loved our stay at The Wright's Coachhouse!

My friend and I and our 5 and 6 year olds stayed for a winter weekend. The place is clean, check in and out was easy. The coach house had everything we needed and more. Matt and Melissa were very helpful with recommendations on local restaurants and child friendly activities and trails. The area was very close to town and we enjoyed exploring the town and cute shops and restaurants. We would recommend The Coach House and hope to stay again sometime soon!

Secluded property a short walk to downtown

Well appointed apartment located in a beautiful secluded setting. A short walk through quaint town to downtown area with shops and restaurants. Park along river had great walking and snowshoeing paths. A beautiful place to stay any time of the year.

Wonderful Stay!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It was just my husband and I in the middle of February, so we didn’t get to explore too much of the surrounding outdoor area, but we had a wonderful time in town and in the place itself. Melissa even gave us a couple of ideas of restaurants in town to check out. The place was clean and beautifully laid out. We had everything we needed and Melissa even had a couple extra lovely touches set out for us the first night we arrived. Matt kept outside very clean and plowed and even blew off the snow from our car after a winter storm. The place is wonderful and the hosts are fantastic! Would highly recommend a stay here!!!

Great time in Elora!

We had a great couple of days in Elora exploring the town and enjoying this property! There are quaint shops close by and the kids loved tobagganing on a nearby hill. The coach house is exactly as pictured - and exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing experience

The Wright's Coach house will forever be part of our memories. We hosted a small wedding on the property and it turned out beautifully. Inside was spacious enough to host for 10 people. The interior rustic look tied in perfectly with our wedding decorations as well. The Wright's were very accommodating making sure if we had any questions, they'd be happy to help. Overall, the experience here was amazing and would definitely recommend to stay here. The beautiful town of Elora was a short 5 min drive away. Thank you for everything!
