Fabulous family reunion
This place was just perfect for us. We were visiting family and needed room to gather as well as proximity to Rutland and environs. There was plenty of privacy and placed for our dog to get exercise. Everything we needed was there!

Great place for skiing close to Killington
Place is great. We enjoyed our stay. It fit all the requirements we had. If I were to nit pick i would say the bathroom needs updating but everything was spotless and was in perfect working order, well stocked. I will come again.

Amazing and Quaint
Me and my hometown friends headed up for a weekend of skiing. The property is secluded and in a great location. Only negative was the amazon fire stick in the tv did not have cables, nor could we get to work. However they had a create dvd collection. So we were able to enjoy a night of Finding Nemo. I would recommend any family, or group of friends to stay at this amazing location.

For Pinecrest Rd In Hermitville, Vt.
Although the area waas quiet and the house was clean there were some issues with it. The bathroom sink faucet leaked , the tub was slippery (I used a wash cloth to stand on while showering so I wouldn't slip ) Ceiling fan in bedroom was running when we arrived, but there was no way to turn it off as the pull chain was broken off. We left a note

Super peaceful private home away from home
The rental was very nice plenty spacious for a couple and a dog. The interior is pretty updated the outside could use a power washing and some tidying around the perimeter of the house (but it's cold and plants are dying so I understand) and some interior like the ceiling fans seem to be neglected when it comes to cleaning. There is a smell to the home which there is to every home but this one still smells like a grandmas house. I would recommend maybe air fresheners or candles. Other than that fresh linens were provided everything in the house worked and the yard space they have is fantastic we loved walking around with the dog. The thermostat is very modern and updated and seemed to be in sync with the fire alarm system. The fire alarm had gone off on one occasion and there wasn't anywhere that said how to turn it off which sent us into a panic for a good 5-10 minutes. Fortunately we figured it out and I don't think we bothered the neighbors too much with the blaring alarm. There is also some confusion with the booklet the owners of the property left in the house with rules and check outs compared to the Vrbo booking online.

Family and Dog Friendly
Peaceful, private setting which is truly family and dog friendly. I had no small children traveling with me, but this house would be a good fit for those that do. Easy access to all that downtown Rutland offers. Beautiful October scenery.

Incredible value. Wonderful location.
We enjoyed our stay at this property for 1 week. They allow dogs and have plenty of lawn in the front and back for our husky to roam (on leash). You’ll want your dog to stay on leash because there is no fence and we saw a baby bear and heard coyotes each night. The TV provides Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming services. I saw the maintenance worker follow strict COVID guidelines. That was reassuring. On the downside some lights were out and the bathtub backed up. On the upside of the downside, they came out to fix the issues within a couple days. Two times we were jarred by the workers showing up unannounced. I guess they empty the garbages and mow the lawn on some kind of schedule. It would be good to know that schedule. When the one guy was emptying garbage from the garage, I thought maybe someone had broken in. Overall, great place run by great people

Great Escape!!!
My wife and I stayed there at Hermitville as they call it and it was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for!!!! A very picturesque location nestled in the Mountain area of Vermont during the very best time of the year, Fall, where Mother Nature reveals her true color pallette in painting the entire landscape in the most vibrant of colors there are!!!!! The amenities were very accommodating, new appliances, very clean and the bed's new with memory foam mattresses that provided for a great night's sleep!!!!! The location is excellent, close to both downtown Rutland as well as Mountain Top Inn where we spent time taking in the majestic and colorful mountain views while enjoying great culinary delight's. You can't ask for anything more when referring to reasonable and well appointed accomodations affording privacy and convenience; we will definitely stay there again!!!!!!!

Awesome, quiet, as described!
Great house and even better property. Secluded and quiet. My 2 dogs were able to roam freely in the yard without having to worry. At the same time centrally located to everything you need and within an hour or 2 driving distance of the prime VT attractions. Will definitely book again next time I’m in the area. Thank you!
