One of our favorite stays

My partner and I rented a cabin at Snug Harbor Inn for our Valentines Day weekend getaway. We were blown away with what an amazing stay we had. From the interaction we had with the staff, to the beautiful views from the room, to the interior of the room itself with the indoor fireplace and jacuzzi, it was the absolute perfect winter getaway. The room was cozy and warm, even with the -6 degree weather outside. The location is minutes away from downtown Sturgeon Bay and close to everything you would want to experience in Door County. It was one of our favorite stays and we cannot wait to revisit in the summer. Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

Girls' Weekend

The cottage is exactly what you see in the pictures. It is both functional and charming. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us, but I could have easily stayed here with my family of four. The view is beautiful and it's very relaxing to sit outside and drink your coffee while watching the boats. The only drawback for us was that it wasn't really within walking distance of the small downtown area. This was our own fault for not making sure of this before we booked.

Beautiful View, Great Location

This was a last minute stay and we extended to two days, no problem! Right on the bay, so beautiful views. Nice room, faux fireplace, kitchenette, large spa tub. Very responsive staff- the freezer wasn’t working, they checked it out immediately. Turns out it had just been inadvertently turned off. They left us a bag a ice which was nice. It was a great home base to drive to the other cute towns along the peninsula. Sturgeon Bay is a great town and you can walk to restaurants and the 3 shopping districts. Delicious breakfast spot down the street (walking distance). Would recommend for a couple. Would be cramped - the small bathroom w more than 2 people.

Awesome Place to stay!!!

The property was very clean and the view beautiful. The staff and neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making a fire and sitting outside by the water, but bring bug spray. My only complaint would be to upgrade the beds/mattresses. We are definitely planning our next stay there.

Great place to stay

We were very pleased with the property. Very clean, well organized and it had everything we needed. Though it's a smaller place, it worked out perfect for our family. Great views and friendly people. We would definitely stay here again if we visited Door County.

great location

Snug Harbor is a cute place to stay right on the water. Wish we could have been there longer. The room was clean and cozy. There were fire pits out front next to the water.

We are a family-owned and operated hotel in beautiful Sturgeon Bay, WI. I was a school teacher and my husband a welding inspector but decided to try our hand at running a hotel. We started 30 years ago and have never looked back. We love it! It does get a bit cold in the winter.... haha
