Beautiful apartment in a beautiful community

Really great to be close to the beach and restaurants. Hopkins was very walkable, but having bikes was also fun. Wish for directions earlier so we didn't have to find wifi in order to get them the day before we arrived.

Great location and great place

Super clean and had all the little things we needed to make our 3 nights there awesome including outdoor stove and pots/pans/dishes. Wade lives in the back building and will have your keys for you and get you setup with bikes to check out. He has all sorts of suggestions and knowledge of the area too. He will also take you pedalboarding ( not paddleboarding, its different) for a very reasonable price if the ocean is cooperating. Realize that it is at the heart of the town on the main street and there is some road noise in the rooms due to that, but nothing crazy. Several Restaurants in the area that didnt show up on Google maps. Place right accross the street had a good inexpensive breakfast. 30 minute or less drive to Cockscomb/jaguar preserve and Bocawina for some great waterfall hikes.

Everything you want or need

We LOVED our little apartment. You can be part of the laid back, in town vibe on the front porch or step inside and close the curtains for privacy. On site owner is friendly and very helpful with local info. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or cook for ourselves as desired. Groceries, fruit/veggie stands are easy walking distance, safe parking, and the apartment contains everything necessary. We will definitely return!

Great place to stay!

A little loud at night sometimes, but overall and incredible place to stay:) it was clean and plenty of space for me and my husband. Property owners were warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful:) We felt like this was an excellent first stop on our trip. Grateful to have found the listing!

Spacious and comfortable hotel

This is the closest hotel to the Hopkins wetland. Within 10 minutes walking distance. It is clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner is friendly and very helpful. It is conveniently located next door to a fruit and vegetable stand and a supermarket. The kitchen is well equiped. The patio is spacious and private with rocking chairs and hammock. They can help with laundry and taxi. I had a great time, especially when I had an accident. Highly recommended.

Perfect home away from home

2 of us stayed at the Sunshine Room. For us it was perfect. We were right in the middle of the Village. What we loved about the room was that we had everything we needed on a budget. We had a nice fridge, coffee maker, living room. We stayed for a week and had a GREAT time.
