Blue Ridge Rose is a three level home in Wintergreen Resort overlooking the sixth green and fairway of the Devils Knob’s Golf Course and the Old Appalachian Trail. It is a 5 bedroom ~ 3 1/2 bath home with two living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and a large deck with seating for the whole family. There are 3 bedrooms and one full bath on the top floor, one extra large bedroom with en suite bathroom on the main living floor, and a 5th bedroom on the ground floor furnished with bunkbeds (suitable for children) and a daybed/trundle. The ground floor also features a separate living area, full bathroom and laundry room. The garage offers a 240V NEMA 14-50A EV outlet for your stay. Every window in the home offers beautiful views of the golf course, the lush Blue Ridge forest, and the abundant wildlife nearby!
The deck includes patio furniture and a gas grill for outdoor gatherings.
This well appointed home sits on a quiet corner that allows plenty of privacy.

Blue Ridge Rose is conveniently located within walking distance of the Shamokin Springs Nature Preserve hiking trail. It is a convenient base of operations to experience the activities offered by Wintergreen Mountain Resort. The mountains offer beautiful overlooks of the Rockfish and Shenandoah Valleys including beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

There are 30 miles of year round hiking trails within Wintergreen Resort. Skiing, snowboarding, and tubing sports highlight the winter season. Spring, summer and fall seasons offer golfing, tennis, swimming, fishing, and mountain biking. During summer you can pack a picnic and visit the sandy beach of Lake Monacan to enjoy sunning, swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding. You can even tube down the mountainside in the summer months at Wintergreen Resort’s Discovery Ridge!

What’s near by?
Just 15 minutes away you will find VA State Rd-151, nicknamed the “Brew Ridge Trail”. Take in a variety of wineries, breweries, orchards, farms, antique shops, grocery stores and great restaurants along this trail.

Blue Ridge Rose is only 20-40 miles from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Waynesboro, Staunton, Charlottesville and Lynchburg, VA. These cities offer a wide variety of attractions, historical landmarks, museums, restaurants, nightlife and shopping.

Fantastic stay in a winter wonderland!

The home is beautiful, well maintained, well furnished and spotless. The owner was incredibly helpful during the snow this weekend. She reached out before arrival, during our stay and after to make sure we were well. Wintergreen did an amazing job of keeping the streets cleared and the slopes open. The house is located on the golf course so the twins had plenty of snow fun opportunities out the back door. We would love to rent this house again and highly recommend a stay here!

Family time well spent.

My daughters and their families and I spent 5 days at the Wintergreen resort. The house was exactly as pictured and we didn't lack for anything. We enjoyed our coffee on the back deck each morning and watched the golfers as they came through. The house was just perfect. The kids had their own space and were quite content to hang out there. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Wonderful home!

We loved this property. It was perfectly outfitted for our three generation family. My parents, the golfers, loved watching the golfers while sitting in the back patio. The kids loved to start up until dusk to watch the raccoon scour the back patio for any leftovers. And of course they loved the bunk beds and all the great toys and games! We couldn't have been more comfortable and the host was very conscientious. We'll be back next year for sure!

Hiking trails close by were perfect for kids. The downstairs kid's lounge is awesome and my children enjoyed it so much. The Google home hub was amazing! The property manager was awesome and easy to contact

Wonderful home on Devil’s Knob golf course!

My family and I stayed at Blue Ridge Rose for a ski and tubing weekend. The home was beautiful, homey, clean and very comfortable. It was wonderful to come back after a crazy day on the ski hill, relax, have a family meal in a well stocked kitchen and end the day with board game on the large, rustic kitchen table. Our boys also loved running around in the back yard in the snow, and having a snow ball fight. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again on our next vacation to Wintergreen.

Relaxing Thanksgiving Getaway

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations. Not only was it clean and beautifully decorated but it was fully stocked with everything we needed. We were able to cook all of our meals including Thanksgiving dinner. The house was also well stocked with entertainment which kept the kids busy. They also loved the play set in the yard. The location was perfect and allowed us easy access to walking paths and hiking trials. Karen was quick to respond to all questions and provided great suggestions. We especially enjoyed picnics at the local breweries. We would love to come back to enjoy another relaxing weekend!

Mountain Getaway!

Perfect getaway vacation for adults and/or families in the mountains. House is beautifully appointed with a wonderful outdoor wraparound deck. Location within walking distance to several trails. Also a close drive to other outdoor recreation spots and local eateries. Great location, beautifully decorated, spacious home for a perfect long weekend or weeklong retreat. Highly recommend!! Will visit again!
