This was our second time staying here and we loved it! The cabin was perfect for us and the time of year can’t be beat! We plan on making this an annual trip - 5 stars!!
The cabin is very nice. We saw deer twice . The cabin is located in a great location to area towns and events. We would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves.
The cabin was a great base camp for our fishing trip. We especially enjoyed the wonderful views from the porch with our dinner each evening, lingering out there until well after dark.
View from the porch is spectacular and ever changing. This cabin was the perfect spot for friends to meet up and reconnect. Lots of out outdoor activities in the area.
We enjoyed our stay. Fully equipped cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved fully stocked kitchen. Close to many attractions and easy to access. Loved the suggestions others offered. Highly recommend.
We were up for WCU's parents weekend. This property is wonderful! The view is absolutely beautiful!! The cabin is spacious and comfortable. The location is halfway between Franklin and Dillsboro. I would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return soon.
I you can imagine being in the tree’s canopy and becoming a leaf, part of the tree, this beautiful, spacious and well appointed residence is for you. Views of the surrounding Mountains and peaks are Amazing. This setting coupled with all of the furnishings you need make for a worthwhile memorable vacation. I can’t compliment the owners enough, what an awesome home!
We will definitely be back.
House was clean and nice but owner should let the guest know oven doesn’t work before they buy groceries and doesn’t have a grill but still had a good time.
We were so happy with this cabin. The views are even better than described and the pics don’t do it justice. The cabin was spacious, clean and well appointed. The location was perfect. It was at the top of the mountain but you didn’t have to do all of the winding small roads to get there. It was secluded and private (literally all you can see are woods and mountains from the porch), but still close to the main road, grocery stores, breweries, restaurants etc. You can quickly get to Dillard, Sylva , Franklin and Bryson City from this spot. We loved watching the hummingbirds during the day and listening to the frogs at night. We’d definitely stay again.
The cabin is extremely easy to find and access. The view....no words. Mountains for miles and miles! The owner provided a photo just inside the door labeling each mountain peak you can see and how far away it is. Very interesting how far away some of those mountain peaks are!! Cabin is comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything you could need to cook is provided in the kitchen. Quiet. Secluded (but not too secluded). But did I mention the view?? Wow!
That VIEW! it's just the beginning. What a beautiful home with everything you need and just a short drive into Franklin. What a beautiful neighborhood, we enjoyed many morning and evening walks that were like walking through the enchanted forest. Internet and TV were great and property has easy paved roads to access. I would not hesitate to stay here again. There were some minor issues and a couple of things to keep in mind. We did have an issue with the smoke detectors going off which I am sure the owners will address. The property manager responded in quick time and it's just one of those things, no big deal. The gravel driveway can be hard to see at night and could use some lighting or something to make it more visible at night when you are unfamiliar. There is a small flight of stairs to get to the front door, if you have mobility issues or can't carry luggage etc...up stairs you might keep this in mind. Very minor things and we really enjoyed this beautiful home. Thanks for letting us enjoy it as well.
What a view! You're able to see many mountain ranges over 23 miles away! The cabin was everything we needed and more. Extremely clean, and well kept. Very, very easy to find, you won't need a
4 wheel on this road! No neighbors, yet close to everything you might want to do! Sara, was so very helpful and quick to answer any questions! We'll be back soon!!!
The property and neighborhood are beautiful! The owner made everything seamless and left thoughtful notes everywhere answering any question a guest might have. Nice location between Franklin and Dillsboro. Only annoyance was the loud traffic on 23 (which kind of took away from the beautiful, peaceful view), but the cabin, property, and owner are 10/10!
The cabin was beautiful and had all that was needed and then some. The view was spectacular at an altitude of 3200 feet. And very important to me was that there was very quick and easy access to the highway. I have stayed at cabins in the past that were miles and miles down dirt roads and far from any highway. The easy access of this cabin is nice if you are sightseeing every day as we were. Overall the cabin contributed greatly to the enjoyment of our vacation. We loved it.
The location and view were perfect for our Thanksgiving weekend getaway!
Everything was as listed. A couple of recommendations; kitchen- need casserole dishes, a whisk, and steak knives.
One complaint we had is the mattresses are too hard and sleeping did not come easy!
We did use the electric grill and cook in the oven- smoke alarm went off once the oven temp teaches 300- annoying.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable and peaceful, which we needed. Thanks for sharing your home with others!
The property was amazing! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful to the eye...
We arrived, thrilled with the property and view. More impressed with the extras we uncovered at every turn. The came the traffic from the nearby highway. Not a show stopper, but not the quiet I was expecting. Then the AC quit on day 2. Traffic noise all night every night, sleeping in a smaller bed so we could have windows open for air...notshow stoppers, but added stress to our getaway. Owner gave moderate compensation for our trouble. Sad. Great property. Great nearby stuff. Just traffic noise.
Clean place fairly secluded. Only two critiques: thin walls making every footstep heard all throughout the house, and had an additional drive to the office to pick up keys and return them.
