Lovely stay in Fontvieille

We did not stay in the property we had booked as Michael offered us his own home as an alternative (there was construction work happening on a property nearby the one we had booked and the owner was concerned that the noise would be a problem for us). The house we stayed in was beautiful with great facilities and many collectibles belonging to the owner. The only problem for us was that it was a further distance from the village centre which was too far for us to walk in the heatwave experienced at the time. We are in our 70’s and had specifically booked the original property as it was easy walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants, cafes.

Excellent gîte pour visiter la région à Pâques. très bien situé, très calme. la tonnelle est agréable. on a très bien dormi et notre fils de 5 ans a bien joué dans le jardin. très belle région !

Très agréable location

La maison a été rénovée récemment dans un style Provencal qui lui donne un charme particulier. L'emplacement est idéal très proche du centre de Fontvieille et à deux pas des magasins d'alimentation. Notre hôte Michaël a été très prévenant et a le souci du bien-être de ses locataires. Nous recommandons particulièrement cette location au coeur de la Provence!

Decouverte de la provence

C est A fontveille, village des alpilles que nous avons pose nos valises pour une semaine a la decouverte de la provence. Nous avons ete accueilli avec simplicité avec Michel, dans une location conforme a nos attentes. Bien equipee, bien située entre camargue et alpilles. séjour dans un vieux village

Il y avait des problèmes avec des travaux juste à côté de la maison louée. Michael a très bien résolu ce problème: Nous avons pu vivre pour deux semaines dans sa propre maison, qui était même plus grande que la maison louée. Merci!

Tolle Unterkunft in einer fantastischen Gegend

Wunderbares Haus!

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in diesem schön renovierten und besonderen Haus aus dem Jahre 1740. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Die Kommunikation litt höchstens unter meinen schlechten Französischkenntnissen.

Ferienhaus im typisch französischen Dorf

Bei dem Ferienhaus handelt es sich um eine Doppelhaushälfte eines kleinen alten Hauses im Dorf. Durch den eigenen schön angelegten Garten ist man aber völlig ungestört. Das Ferienhaus selbst ist liebevoll über zwei Etagen saniert und eingerichtet. Die Kombination aus alt und neu ist wirklich gut gelungen. Fontevieille mit seinen Cafés und Restaurants ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Avignon, Arles, Nîmes, die Camargue, die Apilles und den Luberon zu erkunden. Fußläufig erreicht man die Bäckereien im Dorf und Der kleine Supermarkt, wo man sich mit allem Notwendigen versorgen kann ist gleich gegenüber (das einzige Manko an dieser Wohnung: die Anlieferung dort ist bei offenen Fenstern leider deutlich zu hören). Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Michaël war unkompliziert und freundlich.

Logement très agréable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Michael avec nos enfants de 15 et 10 ans. La maison est bien située dans le village, l'accès aux commerces et visites est très facile. Logement très propre et propriétaire fort sympathique. Nous recommandons.

Alles bestens

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön und praktisch. Es ist ein altes Haus von 1740 und sehr liebevoll restauriert und mit schönem kleinen Garten davor. Hier merkt man die Hitze nicht so sehr, weil Bäume diesen Garten beschatten. Fontvieille hat angeblich nur 3500 Einwohner, doch ist es ein pulsierender Ort mit sehr vielen gastronomischen Angeboten, Post, kleineren Geschäften, Bäcker, Spar, Intermarché und vor allem strategisch sehr günstig gelegen. Im Umkreis von max. 1 h Anfahrt erreicht man für Touristen sehr viele interessante Punkte: Camargue (St. Maries-de-la-Mer), Arles, Avignon, Nimes, St. Rémy und vieles andere. Eigentlich wollten wir wandern gehen und ab und zu Kultur genießen. Doch durch die große Hitze zwischen 30 und 36 ° C schon in der Zeit 24.06. -29.07.2022 sind wir vor allem in vorgenannte Ortschaften/Städte gefahren und haben Museen besucht und das südländische Flair auf den Märkten genossen. In schattigen Gassen lassen sich auch die hohen Temperaturen ertragen. Es war alles in allem ein sehr erholsamer und sehr interessanter Urlaub. Ach ja, direkt gegenüber vom Quartier befindet sich der Intermarché, der montags bis sonntags (dann nur am Vormittag) immer geöffnet hat. Der provencialische Wein ist auch sehr zu empfehlen!

charmantes Haus in toller Umgebung

Das Objekt bietet alles, was für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt wird. Es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer für die wärmeren Nächte. Etwas störend war der morgendliche Anlieferverkehr vom Supermarkt gegenüber (teilweise um 4 Uhr) - den man im vorderen Schlafzimmer bei geöffnetem Fenster hören konnte. Ansonsten verlief der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber reibungslos und die Lage ist toll und der Ort sehr einladend-charmant.

Séjour à Fontvieille

Superbe séjour dans ce joli village avec tous les commerces nécessaires, beaucoup de visites pouvant être réalisées à pieds, et à proximité des grandes villes. La maison est très charmante , une propreté irréprochable et un calme absolu, une jolie terrasse extérieure ombragée vient compléter ce lieu , maison présentant tous les équipements indispensables au quotidien . Votre hôte saura vous accueillir avec gentillesse et bienveillance, vous ne manquerez de rien.
