WELCOME TO MAGGIE VALLEY! This renovated Chalet sits just above the Maggie Valley Country Club/Golf Course and is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ranch, and Lake Junaluska. We love the short-range mountains views off the front deck, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as the proximity to area conveniences. We hope you create bountiful memories at our Chalet.

The Chalet has a comfortable, large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings with tons of natural light flooding in. Quiet and peaceful, yet close to all area amenities. Paved drive, large parking area with a car port…great for parking motorcycles!

This is a great place to relax. The house just feels comfortable and well loved. A place you feel like you would like to own. The location is local to shops and restaurants but is still out of sight from other homes around it. We plan to stay her again.

Perfect Getaway
We visit Maggie regularly. This was our first time staying here, but will not be our last. It's peaceful, quiet, private, convenient and motorcycle friendly. House was clean and well stocked. Jan responded quickly and made everything so easy. Wonderful property. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind. We will be back.

Excellent preparation and attention to detail. Very clean and easy to access and use all necessary items for cooking, cleaning and just plain living without stress. Would recommend this property to any friends going to Maggie or surrounding areas. The front porch was a fantastic place to gather and read and/or have conversations. Would highly recommend this to a family or 2 or 3 couples looking for a stress free relaxing get away.

We would do this one again!
Pros: this house is on a flat lot with a grassy area and beautiful landscaping. There's a really nice fire pit for gathering and an amazing covered porch for coffee, reading and games. The living room is comfortable and plenty of space to spread out. The master bed is comfortable and we loved that it was on the main floor. There's an extra half bath right off of the kitchen which is a bonus. The furniture is comfortable. It was perfectly secluded and very quiet. They have trash pick up so you don't have to take it down the mountain in your car! The air conditioning kept us cool… it was really hot (high80s) outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. This house was perfectly clean when we arrived. Nice bedding and towels. All in all a fantastic vacation! **If you are coming here in the winter you will definitely need a 4WD. The driveway is very steep and a sharp turn. Probably best to also show up during daylight. Cons: there's not one chest of drawers in the whole house. We found that very odd. Where are you supposed to put things?

Perfect Stay
Why was Settle Inn perfect? 1 - Drive way and road up to the house were very flat-lander friendly. We understand that when you come to the mountains, you have to expect hilly driveways and roads. However, this was very comfortable on our nerves. 2 - Location struck just the right balance of ease and privacy. We were just a few short minutes from many locations including Maggie Valley and Waynesville; and a mere 30 minutes or less from Asheville and Sylva areas. The location of Settle Inn afforded us much more privacy than you would expect given its proximity to town. 3 - The house was very clean and comfortable with a wonderfully cared for yard and flower garden area. The furniture was very comfortable and the front porch was so inviting that we spent many hours enjoying the view and the garden. Also, the house had blazing fast internet!! There you have it. These are the reasons we want to go back to Settle Inn the next time we go to Maggie Valley!

Second stay here. We visited for family ski trip. Although would love to stay in summer too. I really love the cabin and hope to return. Family friendly for sure (including puzzles and games etc). While not a big house it is really well designed with tall ceilings in living area complete with probably the best possible real fireplace. And they provide all necessary for comfortable stay (usable kitchen washrooms ets.). Exactly what we look for on vacation - a place that is comfortable and has some character. We let our kids stay upstairs and wife and I stayed in on level master. Very comfortable and communication with host was A+.

Great Maggie Valley Club Rental
For the last 10 years, we usually visit the Maggie Valley Club area twice a year. Our first stay in this house but it will not be our last. Definitely one of the best. This was the perfect place for us!
Location: This cabin was an ideal getaway. It was located in a quiet area, but close enough to have access to everything we needed. Cabin: This cabin was very clean, organized well (everything in drawers and cabinets marked), and provided many amenities. It was very easy to locate anything we needed. The cabin is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The front porch was a nice place to sit and have a meal, with ample seating. Outside: There was an open carport structure that was ideal for protecting our motorcycles. The firepit in the yard was the perfect place to relax and roast a few marshmallows at night. We all very much enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting that area!

This property is situated perfectly in the mountains. It is an easy drive to the chalet with lots of flat space to park. There is lots of outdoor space for everyone to stretch their legs! The property is very close to downtown Maggie Valley and Waynesville. It is an easy drive to Asheville.

What makes this property unique

This is the perfect place for those who are interested in taking advantage of nearby hiking and fishing. It is also a perfect home base for motorcyclists. Since it is right above the Maggie Valley golf course it is perfect for golfers also.
