located 1 mile north of the market street bridge. walk, bike or golf cart all over downtown! less than a half of a mile from stringers ridge bike track. open floor plan with kitchen , living room , dining room, all in one large room. from the living room windows u can see the sunset behind lookout mountain.
originally built in the 1920's this home still has accents of the era, original glass door knobs and doors, brick chimneys , stone fireplace. the backyard is completely private and wooded with a fire pit and ample parking in a large private driveway.bbq grill has been added.

It's a large & comfortable house with lots of spaces for quiet & relaxing. The owners were great in handling a few requests we had. I'd definitely stay there again!

Very spacious! This was a great home for our family of seven to stay for our daughter’s wedding in downtown Chattanooga. Convenient location to both the chapel and reception venue!

Winter escape

Property was as described. Plenty of space for us and occasional weekend visitors during our 6 week stay. Great location for us. Very walkable with a caveat on the steep 150’ climb up from Dallas Rd. Owner was very responsive both during reservation process and during our stay. The only disappointment was that the upstairs was typically much warmer, sometimes uncomfortably, than the downstairs heat setting. Our dog appreciated the newly fenced front yard.

Good Stay

This was a nice old house, maybe just not the best for older guests, due to stairs, only one bathroom upstairs, hilly neighborhood. It was super clean, and the host was very accessible. We had a very good time.

Perfect place

We came to Chattanooga to see a show and this place was not only convenient to town but also a gem in every sense of the word. Clean and spacious with everything we needed. We loved staying here and plan to come back with friends!

Great Location!

Traveling with my parents, husband, and two kids (ages 6 & 9) - house was perfect for our group, very clean and comfortable, and nicely situated on a quiet street. The location was perfect - 15 minutes from Ruby Falls, 5 minutes from the aquarium, and plenty of testy and coffee shops within a mile’s drive - plus a Publix right down the road. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful and close bikepath to downtown

Property was great. Location for downtown Chattanooga. Very close to the aquarium as well as the supercharger which we used. The St. John's restaurant is fabulous if you're looking for a good restaurant. Had a great time

Weekend Wedding

We attended a 3 day wedding weekend. The house is in a wonderful location, close to stores and things to do & see. We were very comfortable within this lovely home, and appreciated the quickness which the host responded to questions.

Chattanooga VRBO Stay

Overall a nice VRBO and a good value. Did not care for the location of the hot tub (would have preferred it to be on the rear deck) therefore did not use it. The charcoal grill itself and area around it was a mess therefore did not use it. Could use some area rugs and window coverings to reduce echo and to give a feeling of warmth.

Great location, Decent property

We enjoyed our stay overall - the location can't be beat! The house is on a quiet street but you're 5 minutes away from everything. There were lots of restaurants & shops to explore nearby on the North Shore. The house was very clean also. The knock on this one weas that the bedding was old & not very nice, especially for the extra beds (pull out couch, futon).

Great Location

We had a great weekend visit, the house was perfect, and Kris was great. He was very responsive to our questions and provided helpful suggestions. The house was in a great location, it was very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet. Our only regret was not having more time to stay and enjoy it (and the hot tub) more!

Great visit to Chattanooga

Came to Chattanooga to watch our son compete in the Ironman. The house and location could not have been better. Able to walk to the riverfront in a few minutes. Great restaurants nearby. House was clean and nicely remodeled. Sure beats staying in a hotel downtown without our furry friends. Thanks!

Getting to know Chattanooga

We were very excited to visit Chattanooga for the first time. The property was just as it was portrayed on Vrbo. It was clean and well appointed- we had everything we needed. The location is fabulous for getting around Chattanooga. We truly enjoyed our stay! The only issue was that the yard is loaded with Poison Oak, so if you are traveling with children or dogs (who do get a reaction, but can get the oil on theirs fur and transmit poison oak to their humans), Beware!

Overview of site

The "4th" bedroom was not really a bedroom. Hit your head every time you walked into the room and curtain is not a door Common space was spacious. You really need better couches as the ones you have are old and not comfortable at all Yard needs to be trimmed up. Very unkept Location is very nice Your VRBO site says "street parking". There is a nice driveway. Also, the directions to get in says "get key from owners". There is no key Toilet in master bedroom seems to be leaking Overall, needs some love

Great house in a great location!

Our first time to the Chattanooga area. The house was great and had everything we needed and more! It felt like we were in the woods, but we were close to everything. We could’ve walked everywhere, but we visited during a pretty hot & humid week. The house was nice and cool though! We walked the dog into town a few mornings. (Chattanooga has so many dog friendly places!). We had groceries delivered from Walmart right after we arrived and popped down the street to Publix for a few other things later. We enjoyed some yummy restaurants and also saved some $ by cooking/grilling many meals at the house -kitchen was well equipped! We enjoyed our stay in the house and Chattanooga! We’d love to come back another year in the spring or fall ❤️

Fantastic!

My family has a few properties that we have as rentals and I have to say, this house is top notch! House was beautifully planned out and decorated. Clean and not cluttered. Ample parking…(security lights are a nice touch as well). the hill on the driveway got my wife’s car on our way in but…hey…its Tennessee!…it’s hilly…I should have been a little more careful. To be fair, so I don’t come across as a suck up, The only thing I would change is the landscaping in front. The house is beautiful and it has such a great potential look even better by making a nice little yard with landscaping in the front. Other Than that….FANTASTIC! I would rent again in a second(if I didn’t have to drive 9 hours to get there) Thank you both! Keep up the great work.
