Resort check- in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. The nearest airport to Wilderness Club at Big Cedar is Branson Airport (BKG) which is 9 miles by car respectively.

Great Fall Vacation

Loved the resort and amenities. The suite was well appointed. Loved the fireplace and seating area off of the master bedroom. Can't wait to plan our next stay at this resort.

Hooks were broke, no where to hang towels. Filter was absolutely fility.

Hundreds of wasps on the deck!!! :( Overall we were thankful for a place to stay!!

Spacious and accommodating overall

Our trip was overall very good. I rented two one bedroom suites 2623A and 2626A. They were roomy, but suite 2623A smelled a stale unpleasant smell the entire time. 2626A smelled fine. They said they could move us, but we were trying to stay near each other and we would have been in different buildings if we moved. The Wilderness club staff were nice and accommodating with all of our requests, except to put an air purifier in the smelly unit, as they said they did not have one. They need one for rooms that smell. The bathroom door in 2626A got stuck along the floor when opened and made it noisy and unable to open very far. This was very inconvenient and hard to quietly access the toilet from the bedroom (a problem at night especially.) It would be nice if that were corrected. Bring earplugs for sleeping as you can hear people walking on the wood deck across the front and people in the unit above. Also note, Wilderness club wrist will get you into all resort pools, except the Lakeside pool, which was disappointing as it is the quietest pool with a great view. I was originally interested in looking into their timeshares, but not being able to use that pool was a deal killer for me. They are currently doing construction on an adult only pool, but it is right next to the Swimmin' Hole pool, so you will still hear a lot of noise from that pool. Other than those issues, overall, it was very good experience and the rooms were spacious and Big Cedar is a great place for family vacation. Wilderness club does give you a lot more space at a better price than Big Cedar properties and I do recommend it for families.

Nice layout - but - The unit was very dirty. The floors were filthy. My white socks were completely black after 5 minutes. I could feel them sticking to the floor when I walked. Also, it looked like they used a dirty rag to wipe things down. The mirrors, windows, counters, appliances, and cook top all had dirty wipe marks all over them. I don’t think the floors have ever been cleaned. Not sure what the cleaning fee was for. Very musty odor as well. We had to run the furnace fan the whole time. The frame for the entry door had black spots all over it. We didn't inspect too closely, but suspect mold.

Excellent trip

Checking was easy at the rental properties. Booking easy on the vrbo site. Plenty of room, nice and clean You can use all the amenities of Big Cedar which is wonderful. We plan to come back again next year.

Once again Big Cedar local is great. But out accommodations were needing help. Floor tiles in bath loose, dark walls needing fresh paint, rusty accessories in bath and kitchen. Needs some love!

Fun for families

We have stayed at Big Cedar Wilderness Club for two vacations now. Big Cedar is such a fun place with lots of activities for all ages! Love the shuttles that take you from here to there, so easy and the kids love it! Restaurants are pricey so we shop ahead and bring food, it is fun to grill out in the evenings! I highly recommend this place for a fun filled easy vacation. You just show up and everything is there!

Big Cedar Lodge

Pleasantly surprised at the difference between online photos of condo and actual rental. Outstanding activities for all ages. Only downside was the community garbage collection spot needs to be expanded or secured better as native animals are scattering it. All in all a very delightful experience.

nice setup

This place is nice. Located on the big cedar property. Enjoyed eating at all the restaurants on property. Fun mountain was a blast. Golf was fun at top of the rock. But best part of the trip was the pampering at the spa.

The girls and I did a spa weekend and The Wilderness Club at Big Cedar was a great alternative as Big Cedar was fully booked. We had no complaints the entire weekend. Staff was amazing, food was delicious, the spa is perfection, and the room was great. The grounds are all lit up for the holidays and it was beautiful. Seriously, no complaints.
