Private Residence in Moani Heights - Mauna Kea Resort Access!

This cozy Mauna Kea Resort vacation home offers 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms, comprised over 2,400 square feet overlooking the Hapuna golf course. The kitchen and bathrooms have all been recently renovated (2017) with modern European fixtures, decorative tile showers and a tranquil neutral color palette. The home is located in an extremely secure and private setting and features excellent ocean and golf course views. It is located in the Uplands, just "mauka" (mountainside) of the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and is accessed through the Hapuna Prince hotel entrance. Though the Uplands are only a five minute drive to the beach, the slightly higher elevation makes it the perfect temperature for total relaxation and comfort.

The home has an open floor plan with various seating areas, all designed to maximize the ocean views. The brand new kitchen features a gorgeous single-slab marble island with bar stools, a breakfast nook and a formal dining table table to seat 8. Additionally there is a central living room, a small den where one can watch television, and an extensive shaded lanai with outdoor seating. This Moani Heights home is both conveniently located within the resort and effortlessly comfortable, making it the perfect place for families to vacation.

Guests of Moani Heights 2 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $180/day in 2024 (2025 rates have yet TBD & are subject to change) + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.

Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services. Please contact the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel- (808) 882-7222 - for more specific information about access during your travel dates. The renovation will be ongoing from April 2024 until the summer of 2025. The Westin Hapuna Hotel will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal.

Wonderful Thanksgiving week

We had great time staying at the property. Our kids play tennis and having access to the Mauna Kea amenities was critical. Excellent location, each of the kids had their own bedroom.

Beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay overall. A few things I would have like to see added to the location are a waffle maker and crockpot. We found the kitchen to have very basic supplies and some spices. The view is beautiful and a convenient location next to Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach. Comfortable home, however the air conditioning stopped working on our last night so that was a little bit of a bummer. Otherwise, everything was very nice.

The layout of this unit is well designed, the property management company is really good to work with and the location is fantastic. Near beaches and activities of Hapuna/Mauna Kea and great home base to explore the island.

Moana Heights, May 2022

Nice house, beautifully located on the golf course. Easy access to surrounding areas. Excellent jumping off point for beaches and other big island adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Two minor complaints about the residence: (1) the floors were very dirty, and (2) some of the furniture is aging and is in need of replacement.

Lovely Home, Great Location

Big Island Paradise

This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. We enjoyed playing golf, tennis, and going to the beach. We purchased the amenities pass which gave us access to both hotels. Would highly recommend this! The sunsets from this home each evening were spectacular! We would definitely stay here again and we look forward to coming back!

We loved it!

We've stayed at this home twice. Both times were lovely. The house had everything we could possibly need. The location was a nice walk to Hapuna Beach (~1 mile). Beautiful view. Management was very responsive when anything went wrong.

Hapuna house

Great house in the Hapuna area of Mauna Kea. Only thing that could of been better was the TVs. Very small, like monitor small.
