Two families in July 2022
We, two families from Norway (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 5 to 14 years old), rented this house in July 2022. The house is quite new, modern and nice. However, our primary reason for renting this particular house was that it was only 400 meters walking distance to the beach (clearly stated in the advert on vrbo.com). It was quite disappointing to find out that the closest beach was a beach for naturists only…
All in all, we had a nice stay, but it’s worth noting that we think this house has a few areas for improvement (which shouldn’t be too hard for the owner to fix), namely:
• There is a certain problem with ants, both outside and inside.
• There is hardly any shadow at the property at lunch time (the pictures in the advert show sun sails which are now dismantled).
• There are no towels for the sunbeds.
• The property mainly consists of sand, gravel and dirt (no real garden). If windy, sand will fly all over the outdoor tiles and into the pool.
• Some of the bathrooms lack coat hooks for towels etc.
