Nestled inside Grayton Beach State Park, you’ll find the laid-back, eclectic town of Grayton Beach. This well-loved paradise sports tree-lined and moss-draped side streets, you’ll understand why this tiny enclave is considered the heart and soul of 30A. Set in an ideal location, you’re just a seven minute walk from both the beach and Grayton’s famous Red Bar Restaurant.

Enter this gracious Grayton Beach home and find yourself awash in light and air. With two levels of covered porches, you’ll feel like a proper southerner as you sip your afternoon sweet tea and look over the neighborhood. Enjoy the privacy of your fenced back yard complete with a 24x8 built-in pool, perfect for warm summer days.

Indoors, you’ll find an expansive first-floor great room that allows for plenty of family fun and interaction. The living room offers plenty of comfy seating, an LCD TV, and a cooling ceiling fan. The group gourmet will love the chef’s kitchen, complete with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a center island.

The first floor also boasts a master suite with a king bed and a master bath with dual vanities and an oversized walk-in shower.

Upstairs is a den with a wrap-around sofa, perfect for the kids to hang out. Additionally, there are three bedrooms, including another king master. The kids’ room was carefully put together with fun in mind, offering sleeping for 4 (with one mini-twin), a coloring table, and bean bag chairs. The fourth bedroom has accommodations for 4, with two double beds, and shares the hall bath with the kids’ room.

Loved it!

It was a wonderful place to stay for my niece's wedding. Very clean and comfy beds! Renting a golf cart is a must if you don't have a car to get to the beach and restaurants.

Absolutely beautiful.

The house needs cleaning on the front exterior. We realize it’s the end of the traditional season, not the front entrance had mildew and black stains over most of the front door. The mat was so saturated with sand we couldn’t shake it clean. Having said this, the inside was perfect. The owners need to realize their rental rates today is quite a bit higher than previous years and attention to detail is very important.

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time at this house. We simply love Grayton Beach, if we could, we would live here! The house was very much the same as the first time with the exception of a couple of things. 1st: love the grill outside with new table and chairs poolside, however, the grill only had half the burners working so needs to be replaced. 2nd: 1 of the 4 bikes had a tire that needed to be replaced. We called management to no avail except to fill with air....did not hold air, needed replacement which we knew when we called early in the week. The bike was finally exchanged 4 days into our stay which was disappointing.Our family does alot of our meals at home so we would have appreciated more casserole dishes, tupperware for leftovers, etc. Definitely not deal breakers, we will definitely come back!

The beautifully renovated property was a joy to wake up in, and a pleasure to enjoy the company of good friends. I wish I could hire the same company to do renovations at our house in St. Louis. A perfect week.

We love that it’s close to the beach but also very convenient to hop on the bikes & head down 30a. We also love how close it is to shops & restaurants around Grayton. The house is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything we need. The beds are very comfortable & the living room furniture is great for hanging out. The pool is a nice added addition. We have made many great memories staying here & hope to continue to in the future!

Management company was super responsive and the best I have ever experienced, and we have come to 30A at least once a year for 10 years, so pretty impressive. Overall, house was clean with good floorplan. Living room furniture needed some love or replacement and kitchen pots and pans were not really usable, but otherwise well equipped inside. Lack of good seating on porches and pool patio, but we really enjoyed the pool area. Good proximity to beach and local restaurants.

Location is really the only drawback as Defuniak is pretty busy. The 4 bikes came in handy as we would unload everything with the car and then one of us would bike or just walk back to the beach. Good time in Grayton

Amazing location and property!

We really enjoyed our vacation and were able to fit in a lot of daily exercise through long walks and bike rides! Of note: there is a free shuttle that runs from a nearby parking lot to/from Grayton Beach that allows you to bring all your beach items. The beach access is also within walking distance. There are several lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance closer to Grayton Beach, too (Red Bar!). There is a free shuttle that runs to/from Seaside daily, which we used a lot. There are other great restaurants within walking distance right off 30A, just around the corner. We really enjoyed Crackings and Grayton Seafood Co. There are walking/biking trails all along 30A (paved and off the road). This location is extremely accessible and allowed us daily walks in paradise and rides to neighboring Seaside. We will most definitely be back. The home is quite accommodating and lovely. We paid for pool heat and the pool was an absolutely perfect temperature. Thanks for the great vacation and memories!

Thanksgiving at Fish Bait Home and Grayton Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 15th year in a row that our family has taken a trip to Florida; but only the 6th year in the Panhandle area. The house was plenty big for all of us. It was clean and decorated in beach-happy decor. I cooked a lot, so the nice open kitchen was a plus for me. Although the weather was a bit chilly, the ocean sand and sounds were memorable, the heated pool was a hit and the home (especially for the kids). The house is in walking distance to everything so that was ideal. Still for ease of parking, going to and seeing the dunes and beach transportation we rented an 8-passenger golf cart which made parking, beach pick-up and drop-off so much easier. The management company was very helpful and prompt with any questions that we had. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. As a side note: I am not sure I would come in the spring or summer because traffic would be less than desirable, but most people going to the Beach in this area expect traffic.

Beautiful, comfortable Home

Fish Bait was the perfect house for our group to stay in! We loved the location - close to 30a to ride bikes to Seaside & close enough to the beach & other Grayton shops & restaurants, also. The house was beautifully decorated & very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the local, fun artwork, too! The pool was perfect for the kids. Both front porches were great to hang out on during some of the unusual rain showers we had. Grayton Beach is a beautiful & unique community & we really hope to come back to this house soon & make more fun memories!
