HARBOUR VIEW - the perfect getaway!

Charming listed 19th Century cottage situated over three floors with an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, 2 stunning bedrooms and a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. Well equipped kitchen with modern appliances, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer etc. TV's in lounge and both bedrooms. Free wi-fi. Well behaved pets will be considered by prior approval and for a small fee.
Close proximity to town and leisure amenities including indoor/outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, bowling green and golf course.
Perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the North East Coastline and the Whisky, Castle or Heritage Trails.
Flexible short and long term breaks are available. Well behaved pets may be accommodated with prior approval for a small fee.

Seaside getaway

My adult daughter and I wanted to get away somewhere together after my long journey overseas to visit so we headed to this lovely, quaint seaside cottage in Aberdeenshire. The cottage is well located directly overlooking the harbour and near dining and shopping amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and Yvonne welcomed us with fresh floral bouquets and a luxurious basket of treats and wine to settle in. It was well appointed with all the essentials and then some! I’d return for sure if it wasn’t so far away for me both for the comfort and welcoming decor and for the efficient, flexible and welcoming approach of Yvonne, our fabulous host.

Harbour View cottage

Delightful cottage on the harbour side in pretty Stonehaven. The cottage is Immaculate and beautifully presented with every home comfort thoughtfully considered. The location is perfect fo exploring the Cairngorms and the coast and Yvonne is the perfect host.

Another perfect stay in this comfortable cottage

This was our second stay at the Harbour Cottage and it was perfect. The cottage is perfectly located, and had everything we needed for out stay. The cottage is warm, comfortable and we always sleep so well here. Looking forward to booking a third stay soon! Thanks very much.

Amazing property in ideal location

Yvonne was a wonderful and flexible host, allowing us to check out late, providing us with a full tour of the property and offering plenty of suggestions for places to visit nearby. The house was wonderful and the location ideal-water views from every room! Only drawback was listing showed a fireplace-which was blocked and not operational.

Couldn't have been happier

The Harbour View was exactly as described and the owner was very helpful throughout the booking process, our arrival, duration of the stay and departure. We loved the little extras around the property and the thought that had been put into make our stay as special as it was. The most important part of our stay was just how peacefully we slept. Highly recommended and the location in the Harbour is perfect. Thanks again.

Harbourside haven

Everything about our stay in Stone haven was excellent, from the clear and accurate details that led us to choose the cottage, through the friendly and helpful communications with Yvonne and our warm welcome on arrival to the beautifully appointed accommodation and the lovely little personal touches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will gladly return if the opportunity arises. We would recommend this delightful home-from-home to anyone.

Unbelievable

Following a long drive, arranged to meet Yvonne (owner) at the property. Yvonne showed us around and answered all our questions. The property is impeccably furnished and as for location all I can say is Wow. The views are amazing and the whole place seems to be in a time warp with it's relaxed pace of live. Coming from a big city this was a most refreshing change. Yvonne had gone to great lengths to make our stay was special and the unveiling of the cake she had left for us was particularly pleasing :-). The weather for our stay was akin to anywhere on the Costa's. Who wouild think you would go to the east coast of Scotland and never see a cloud and come home with a tan. This all added to the occasion. I would say to any prospective viewers of this property "Book It". From the warm greeting from Yvonne to handing the keys back, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Romantische Ferienwohnung am Hafen

Ruhig gelegene Ferienwohnung mit tollem Blick aufs Wasser, von jeden Fenster. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vielen Dank an die nette Vermieterin für den gefüllten Kühlschrank am Tag der Anreise. Der Marktplatz der Stadt mit vielen kleinen Geschäften und einem tollem regionalem Wochenmarkt waren zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gab auch viele Restaurants und Kneipen. Die lange Strandpromenade, unweit des Hafens, lud zu Spaziergängen ein. Vielen Dank an die Vermieterin, daß wir in der romatischen Ferienwohnung unseren Urlaub verbringen durften.

Fantastic Accommodations!!

Fantastic accommodations, wonderful location, beautiful views. Yvonne the owner was so kind and went over and above to ensure our experience resulted in one of the best vacations ever! We plan to return as soon as possible to lovely Stonehaven and 23 Shorehead. Can't happen soon enough.

traumhaftes Haus mit Blick auf Delfine

Dieses super gemütlich eingerichtete Haus kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Man hat einen direkten Blick auf den Hafen. Vom Kinderzimmerfenster aus konnten wir sogar Delfine beobachten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich vort Ort und Restaurants sind nur ein paar Häuser weiter. Wir haben von hier aus Ausflüge nach Cruden Bay, Loch Ness, Ballater, Aberdeen und St. Cyrus unternommen.

Very nice and cosy house, great location

The house is very nice and cosy! Our two 8 year old girls loved to play on the beach and to watch the ships. Restaurants are near by and you can reach shops by taking a nice walk along the seaside. We especially enjoyed the walk to Dunnottar Castle and recommend it highly. Yvonne made us very welcome and provided us with some goodies and food for the start. She also gave us many tips for activities. We would allways come back again!

Lovely cottage in a quiet location, with beautiful views of the harbour.

We really enjoyed saying at Harbour View. The cottage is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Yvonne met us at the property and showed us around. The welcome hamper and information on local attractions were much appreciated. Stonehaven and the surrounding area offered a range of attractions and walks.

Huisje waar aan alles gedacht is

Dit huisje is modern en zeer praktisch ingericht. Alles is aanwezig. Rustig gelegen aan het einde van de kleine haven. Goed werkende wifi. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Veel toeristische info aanwezig.

Perfect position, great property, freedom for the kids

We stayed in late April. Yvonne met us at the property and made sure we were settled. The crate of treats, cake and bottle of wine was a great touch very much appreciated. My favourite part of the stay was the amazing sunrises looking over the harbour each morning. For the kids it was the freedom to play on the beach with the provided buckets, spades and fishing nets. The property is in an amazing location in Stonehaven harbour a very short walk from The Marine (recommended for food and drinks in the evening) and Cool Gourmet (coffee shop) on the nearby High Street.

Un accueil chaleureux , un intérieur décoré avec gout, une propreté irréprochable, une magnifique vue sur le port font de ce gite un exceptionnelle lieu de villégiature. A ne pas manquer . remarque concernant le site de OWNERSDIRECT : les cautions , heureusement pas trop élevés - 50 £) sont prelevés lors du reglement du solde ! Bien suivre leur remboursement qui doit intervenir dans les 7 jours aprés la fin du séjour.

Charming and Cozy

We had a wonderful stay at the Harbor View. My wife, my nine year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Yvonne was a perfect host. She contacted us early to tell us of construction and how to avoid it. She was there when we arrived to greet us. We felt welcome and even pampered with all the things she had waiting for us. The cottage is charming and cozy. The views are amazing. I highly recommend the Harbor View. You won't find a better place.

Phenomenal stay in Stonehaven Harbour - hidden gem!

We had the most perfect stay over New Year in Stonehaven. The cottage is beautiful, and so well appointed! We wanted for nothing. The host, Yvonne, had left lots of goodies for us and everything we needed was provided in a welcome pack. We had a couple of special requests and had prompt and helpful replies from the host as soon as we got in touch. I can't recommend this property highly enough. Belgian and Canadian friends who stayed with us are away home to spread the word about this place. Book it...you won't regret it!

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location which suited our purposes ideally

This property was absolutely perfect for ourselves and two grandsons for the week we stayed there. Wonderful to waken early and take a walk in the still of the morning to the beach or further into town. Yonne was most attentive and provided an excellent 'welcome pack' which was invaluable after a long day travelling. The property was very clean, tidy and well maintained and we would certainly recommend it to friends. There is no shortage of places to eat and drink in Stonehaven and there are excellent recommendations in the 'house guide' provided

Perfect getaway by the sea

We have just returned from a five night stay at Harbour View, with our two young children. We loved our stay. The cottage is in an amazing location: right next to the harbour, with pubs, restaurants and an ice cream shop just a few minutes away. The market square is about a ten minute walk away, with many quaint shops. A further five minutes along the coastal walk gets you to a soft play, outdoor swimming pool, big play park and The Bay- awarded the best fish and chip shop in Britain. You can walk everywhere, and we often did. The cottage is also just off the A90, so the city centre is easily accessible. We visited Duthie Park and Union Square- about a twenty minute drive away. The cottage is beautiful, with a seaside decor. Yvonne had thought of everything. We had a welcome package with yummy Scottish delights, the fridge was stocked with essentials (and a bottle of wine!), and she'd even left buckets and spades, toys and nets for the children to use. A home from home! My husband works in Aberdeen so we can't wait to return to Harbour View for our next stay. Perfect for a small family. Thanks for having us!
