Sandy Paws is a three bedroom holiday cottage in Filey, in a stunning location offering a true feel of home from home. Beautifully designed and well furnished, the cottage can sleep 6.

The cottage is ideal for families or couples seeking a relaxing getaway, and even the four legged members of the family are welcome.
The property comprises of a master bedroom with king size bed, en suite shower room, 1 double and 1 twin room, family bathroom; bath with overhead shower, an open plan L shaped lounge with two leather sofas and an easy chair, dining room with table and chairs for six, and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave, separate hallway leading to downstairs cloakroom/toilet. French doors open onto a furnished patio, surrounded by a shared garden and landscaped grounds in close vicinity to the wild meadows and lake.

Travel Cot and high chair are available for use free of charge.

Sandy Paws welcomes up to two well behaved dogs. Dogs are to be kept on the lead in the village, but can be let off in The Meadows. Both the family pub and the cafe are dog friendly.

The cottage has complimentary wifi/superfast broadband in case you need to bring some work with you or wanting to access the internet. We also have Netflix available for watching films with all the family

Our guests have complimentary access to the swimming pool ( about 200m from the cottage) Sauna and steam room, with many other activities available (for a charge).

The location is the perfect base to explore the Yorkshire coast with more than 100 miles of stunning shoreline.

Sandy Paws is situated in a five star purpose built village ‘The Bay’’. Set in over one hundred acres of unspoilt meadows, it is a fabulous development and with all the facilities anyone would need offering everything for the short break, holiday or longer stay. It boasts; fishing lakes, a boathouse, Italian restaurant/takeaway, family pub, leisure complex with swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym, putting green, tennis courts and bike hire.

The Bay has a private frontage onto a safe, dog friendly, sandy beach from its wonderful setting.

Lovely house, lovely location

The house was lovely and we were so relaxed there, beautiful facilities and perfect location for everything you need. I only have a few things that let it down and it’s not the owners fault but the cleaners; there eas no tea towels, none at all, no liners in the small bins, no bath mat in the en-suite and no toilet roll, of which we had to go out and buy straight away, a pain with three kids in tow and we felt shouldn’t have been at our cost from day one. This is only feedback and by no means a bad review.

Great Cottage on The Bay

This cottage is in a great location on The Bay. It is very close to the pub and swimming pool which was great for us 😀. The cottage was very spacious for 4 adults, 2 children and our little dog. We will definitely look to book this cottage again. The owners were very easy to get hold of before we stayed. Thanks for letting us enjoy our stay in your lovely cottage.

Weekend Birthday break

Overall very good very good, clean and tidy, good location. Facility on site good . Only comment on previous stays in other rented properties lacking in basic essentials ie no toilet roll , no bin liners , no sponges or dish clothes and one tea towel . I don’t want these comments to be taken negatively Kitchen equipment was really good as was the rst of the property

Very comfy house in Filey

We had a great week in Filey. We enjoyed the pool and tennis. The boys loved Go Ape in Dalby Forest and the pitch and putt in Filey is fun. Didn't get much beach time due to the weather but the house is really spacious and great to watch a film.

Sandy Paws a nice property in The Bay Filey

Generally a very nice property, a decent sized kitchen with everything you'd need. Only things that were missing were hand towel in downstairs and en suite bathroom, and no toilet brush sets in downstairs or en suite. For some reason in the main bedroom with en suite only 1 window would open the left one, and also one also in the kitchen, in this heat we had whilst we were there, needed to be able to open more than 1 window. Excellent wifi signal, and TV with Netflix, and Amazon Prime etc. House is close easy reach to the pub, pizza restaurant, and the small onsite shop and pharmacy. Prices are very expensive at the pub, food okay, but can get much cheaper elsewhere to eat. The ribeye steak was £24.70, we went to a pub in Bridlington and for the same size and food it was about £14. Small 10 minute stroll to the beach, we walked to the left quite a few times taking us in to Filey, went to the right which eventually took us up to the Beach Cafe (no toilets here now) but walk on up to car park apparently they're 20p porta loos.

Sandy Paws is owned by the Keeton family from Sheffield - Daniel, Anna, Henry, Edward and Fagin the terrier. We purchased the property following several wonderful breaks at 'The Bay' including the first ever family holiday with Henry. We love the area and plan to visit and stay as often as possible and make memories here. However, we want to share this with others who want to come and explore the fantastic resort and area.
