Nolichucky's Retreat

A true escape on the river with awesome views of the mountains and total silence.... it’s a true cabin feel and awesome experience.

The water sports are amazing, the silence and access to the mountains second to none.

We sleep four and have camping for more. If you like river life this is perfect.

We have fast internet and WIFI and with a smart TV everything is available such as Netflix etc. we have all the normal safety and security systems including smoke alarms, carbon monoxide and external cameras.

Best tree swing in the whole world. Gorgeous view. Could sit on that porch and enjoy myself for weeks on end. But alas we had a return back to the real world.

relaxing stay

Don't let the outside appearance put you off, it is very cozy inside and the view is pretty. We would definitely stay here again. It was also very clean which is important to us.

Perfect for our family

Beautiful spot overlooking the river. Originally from Greeneville so this was a perfectly centralized spot for family and friends to visit. Fire pit and multi level deck made it easy for hanging out. Kiddos took the path down to the river to fish and loved the tree swing. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around. The cabin had all necessities and host was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Perfect quiet retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rustic, comfortable cabin. We observed wildlife from the deck and reveled in the tranquility of being off the beaten path. Our host was welcoming and ultra responsive to all communication. We highly recommend!

BEAUTIFUL VIEW

The view is amazing. The firepit overlooking the river bend was awesome. It's very quiet. The house was nice. Bed was comfy. Had everything we needed. The Host was easy to communicate with.

Serenity

We were looking for an out of the way quiet location. This was the perfect one. The care and attention to detail that went into transforming the barn was amazing. Such a nice combination of rustic charm with modern convenience. The owner was very attentive to our needs and changing plans. I will quite happily stay here again on my next trip to the area.

This property suited my purposes for a spiritual sabbatical away from distractions.

Very nice view of the Nolichucky river, in a rural setting which is what I prefer. If you care to use the Internet or TV it’s all there and works much better than most vacation places. Peaceful property nice fire pit, and the Greenville area is really nice. I even visited cowboy church twice. I was left to my own without any surprise visits from the owners, very peaceful indeed.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at the property. Two of us along with our dog. Pet friendly down to the dog bed and bowls. The highlight of the stay was for sure the view and fishing the water below. Owner communication was really great and much appreciated. I would recommend and would return (next time with a kayak)!

Peaceful Getaway minutes from Greeneville

Had a great long weekend at this cozy retreat. Beautiful view of the Nolichucky river from the deck and firepit. Views of mountains from the front. Stayed with our dog who loved romping around the property. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils to cook for 3 days. Also a nice gas grill. Lots of dog friendly touches: dog bed in loft bedroom, dog treats on the counter. 15 minutes from downtown Greeneville, 15-30 minutes from hikes in the Cherokee National Forest. Check in and out were easy.

Beautiful view of the river from the deck. The river was very high from the rains but still gorgeous. Cabin is on a hill and there is a fairly steep drop down to the river. Loved the swing!

Beautiful and relaxing

Quiet and absolutely beautiful cabin. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck and seeing the Nolinchuky River. Or walk down the path in the backyard to the banks of the river. Ralph is easy to get ahold of if you need anything. Highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful stay

Calm and peaceful. Furniture dated a bit. We were able to find everything in the kitchen easily and it had everything we needed. River is down a very steep incline so be in shape if you want to go fishing on the property.
