Underwhelmed with property, good customer service

There was a dehumidifier set up in the room when we got there, a bad first sign. Thought there is a pool, it is only open during office hours Mon-Sat 9-5. The comforter smelled very strongly of detergent, like too much had been used. The hot water stopped work on Saturday evening, and since Sunday the office was closed, I didn't follow up with anyone until check-out on Monday. I will say that the office manager refunded me the cost of a night and was apologetic. It was a decent price for what it was, but not some where I'll probably stay again.

I was surprised how many cooking utensils were left in the facility for use. The room was somewhat clean. Realized very quickly not to use the oven due to the room getting smoky after one use. I was a bit disappointed with the limited information about the property and things to do nearby. Tried to find a good area to fish as well as an area for my children to swim while fishing. We did more driving around trying to find good areas but we were unfamiliar with the area and there was nothing given to us about the area. We might come back but things are not as accessible without a boat. Wishing there would have been something to tell us good areas or activities to do and how to get there.
