I really enjoyed my week here. I came down for work and the family followed for a vacation. If you're like me and my family, we like the city life, but we love the peace and quiet and that just what this location offered.
Loved the location and the amazing pool! Loved that we were located on the end unit as well. Wasn't crazy about the carpet in the living room, as it made our feet dirty. Also, the master bedroom bathroom had a very small shower and the position of the toilet was in front of small piece of wall jutting out that made it awkward to sit down. Could use some more lighting in the living room and a dining table that has enough seating. Other than that, we loved it there and would stay again. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with!
Second time staying at this house, third time coming up! Communication with owners always prompt and clear. Love the changes you’ve made! Great location, house and neighbors.
Thanks again!
Very nice place. The furniture wasn’t as comfortable as I’d hope for, but good price for mid summer. None of the bedrooms had working tv’s, the master bedroom does have a tv but no hdmi hook up.
The pool was fantastic, not huge but wasn’t ever crowded.
The view was nice, it is on a canal so you can’t see the sunset or sunrise but if you go to the dock we could see the sunset.
The HOA members live in the condo building and do not like children or tourists and told the owner we had too many people there and they made us feel like we were not welcome in “their”pool. Nice place nice owners but the miserable old people who live in a tourist town that don’t like tourists ruined it for me . We spent a total of 2 hours a day at the condo other than sleeping and we don’t drink or party so I don’t know what they were complaining about.
The location of the house was perfect! In a very quiet area! We really loved having the pool so close by and to be honest, for as hot as it was during our stay, there wasn’t anyone there, maybe one other family. (This made it comfortable being as though we are in a social distancing phase) My daughter loved the pool and my husband loved the shade at the pool.
The house was the perfect size for us! We all fit comfortably! The deck was nice to have coffee on in the mornings (very peaceful) and meals on throughout the day!! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (non food wise) and the bedrooms had plenty of storage for us to be able to unpack our bags for the week stay!
I look forward to staying again in the future! Mandy was very helpful throughout the entire booking process and during our stay if we needed her!
A great property and so close to everything. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and dropped in just 10 feet from the back door. You can paddle around the boat dock area in new locations for at least an hour on the paddle boards or take the kayaks out into the bay and paddle for hours. Our longest trip was 3 miles along the shore to BLU crab house and back. We also had crab traps and caught several crabs very easily. The beach is an easy 10-15 min walk away and we went everyday. The boardwalk starts at 27th street and we rode our bikes from 32nd street to the stop light at 27th street?? and then proceeded to ride to the end of the boardwalk for a roundtrip ride of a little under 7 miles.
The condo is three stories with kitchen living room and half bath on first floor. There are two bedrooms on the second floor with queen bed and full bath with tub and in one room and a king bed in water view room with balcony and a bathroom with tiny shower. On the third floor there is a loft (no door to room) with three twin beds with two shorter bunk beds (a perfect room for our son or young children). Each floor has a wall air conditioner unit (two on second floor) that works really well to cool down the condo. The kitchen has everything you could need with a fridge, microwave, stove and a toaster oven and three stools to eat at the counter. A large screen TV in living room worked well and we did bring our own fire TV and hooked this up to watch Netflix and Prime TV. The back main deck Has a great view of the dock areas and was quite large and we ate outside every day and also stored most of our gear outside.
Highly recommended condo. Owner was really responsive to questions I had and even let us move in a few hours early as cleaning was done the night before we arrived. An extra vacation day.

Mandy overall was pretty good at responding through text. The place wasn't really what my family and I expected. I didn't realize OCMD has a rule on trailers. So we thought since we get the 2 parking spaces with the unit one could be for the trailer. Well we were wrong and had to pay to park it for the week in the 100th st municipal lot. Okay fine. We get to the unit and realize how dirty it really was. I messaged Mandy about it and she asked if I wanted her to send someone back to fix it. Nice gesture but 1 I didn't want to waste my time waiting on someone to come clean because I wouldn't want someone there without us there. And 2 there's a cleaning fee so technically there shouldn't be an issue with cleaning since I paid for that. There was a towel left in the 1/2 bath that had toothpaste all over it. The mirror had splash marks obviously from someone brushing their teeth or washing their hands. The garbage wasn't taken out. There was even garbage underneath the garbage bag in the kitchen which honestly I left there. The mirrors in the living room were all marked up with little handprints. I eventually did a quick wipe down of them myself as I couldn't stand it anymore. The fan in the kitchen is really wobbly. The blind for the window at the stairs is literally broken to where it doesn't cover the window fully. There was a throw pillow that one of my kids noticed that seemed to have blood or some kind of stain. The dishwasher seems like it needs a good cleaning. In the master bedroom the picture above the bed seems like it hasn't been dusted in a long time. There aren't any dressers in that bedroom but shelves in the closet for your clothes. All bathrooms are tiny. If your tall Goodluck. In the upstairs bedroom the wall looked like it was starting to come apart. In the queen room there was garbage under the bed. Also the first night we went grocery shopping and when we arrived back there was a party in the parking lot and on top of that we were locked out of the unit. We tried numerous times with the code given and it would not work. I called Mandy and no answer. Called her husband and gave a different code to get in.ugh the stress. The place has plenty of cosmetic issues.you can't use anything in the crawl space, which should be locked up then. The price you pay you shouldn't have to deal with all of this. Location was good for the beach, pool was nice, furniture was comfy. I would not recommend.
We had a great week. Owner was easy to work with and responsive. The location is great. Interior finishes starting to wear but was also towards end of the busy rental season, so not unexpected. All in all, a great week had by all.
Place was clean, property was perfect. There was a few cosmetic issues but nothing that interfered with the awesome stay and location! Property management was easily accessed. Texted right back and called right back as well. Close to Jolly Roger Amusement Parks! Right off the bay, so fishing was easily accessible as well. Perfect for our family of 6 plus 2 other adults!
The check in process was super accommodating and the beds were so comfy. Perfect spot in location to beach and water parks..We also enjoyed the shaded deck.😊
Property is a very nice, home away from home, clean, and with very nice neighbors. The deck is great and a nice place to take pictures. The location is perfect; to the bus stop, the beach, restaurants, stores and not too close or too far from the boardwalk and inlet action. The owner, Mandy, is very easy to communicate with and answers very quickly, which is nice.
We loved the place and so did the kids! Walking distance from Jolly Rogers was a huge plus! Location is quiet and great! Pool was clean and great too! We will rent again next year if still available!
This is a very well-kept condo in a great location. It is just a 12 minute walk to the beach, and a few minutes more to the end of the boardwalk. Restaurants, go-kart tracks, amusement park, jet ski rentals, and putt-putt golf are all within easy walking distance. We did have a toddler and needed to remove a few choking hazards left behind under the couch and chair in the living room. But that is something I attribute to the last few people that cleaned and not the unit itself. The only caution I have is regarding the sleeping accommodations for (8) eight. Although this is correct, four of those beds are on the third floor, in one small room, with no door. The beds consist of a bunk bed, single bed, and trundle. Because we had three adult couples, this was not very conducive to our needs. Especially since both full bathrooms are captured in the other two bedrooms. We made due and and this is not a slight against the property. Just my opinion that this unit is better suited for (4) four adults and (4) four children.
We had a wonderful time. The place was very clean and in a perfect location. Mandy and Dave were very fast to respond to all of our questions. We would definitely rent again.
A couple rainy days in OC were no problem with the covered deck w/patio set, as well as the crab pot we used to entertain the kids catching a few crabs and small fish. Being an end of row condo, it allowed us great views of the bayside canal watching people come and go, convenient access to the grassy area on the side, and some lively sounds from Jolly Rogers, which we didn’t mind. The owners also have a Netflix account linked to the Comcast/xfinity setup with a profile for “renters” which I got a laugh out of. The kitchen has plenty of plates/utensils although we tried to use throwaways where we could. The only thing that would’ve made our stay better would’ve been if we have played UNO, so needless to say, the rental was perfect for what we wanted/needed for the week! Thanks again and hope to rent again!
My family and I rented this property for 4th of July weekend. The property is in a great location and has beautiful views of the canal. The condo smelled wonderful when we walked in and everything was clean and organized. The twin/bunk bedroom was smaller than we expected from the pictures but we made it work. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property and stay again.
Mandy was a great owner to work with the condo was as represented. The location was great close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Definitely recommend

About the host
Your host
Our family purchased this vacation home in 2015 initially intending to rent it. We enjoyed the property and location so much that we ended up using it much of the summers. Now that our children are older and have more activities keeping them busy, it seems like a good time to rent during the weeks we are unable to use the property. We hope that you have as much fun at our property as our family has.
Why they chose this property
This property is located in mid-town Ocean City on the bayside and provides the best of everything. Our location is an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk, but set away from coastal highway so you can sleep easier without the noise of traffic and hustle and bustle of Ocean City in the summertime. The property provides access to the canal for crabbing (we have caught as many as a dozen crabs in a two day period right off of our pier!), kayaking or paddleboarding. The community pool is a quick walk from the home and does not typically get overcrowded. There is an outdoor shower at the pool and a hose by the back of the house to rinse off sand from the beach. Crab Cove is situated right behind Jolly Rogers at 32nd street which includes Speedworld (go-carts), Splash Mountain (water park), miniature golf and Jolly Roger Amusement Park. Additionally, there are many excellent restaurants within walking distance to the property. Midtown location provides easy access to downtown Ocean City as well as places in North Ocean City. We have spent the past five years exploring the area and are happy to provide recommendations for the best places to eat, drink, enjoy happy hours and other tricks we've learned along the way.
What makes this property unique
Penguin drive is situated off of 32nd street which has an area that provides open bay views to watch gorgeous bay sunsets. Sunsets can also be seen from the back deck and master balcony, though not as good of a view. When there are fireworks (fourth of July primarily), avoid the crowds and the excessive parking fees and just walk over to the 32nd street bay views for a great fireworks show without all of the hassle. Fireworks can also be viewed from the back deck, but the trees do obscure some views.
