.This oceanfront resort in Poipu Beach Kauai, features amazing close views of the ocean, you are less than 100 yards from the ocean and less than a 5 minute walk from an amazing kid safe beach. Walk to stores and restaurants and many other cool shops at Kukuiula Village and other nearby centers. This classic boutique complex is quiet and very relaxing. The ocean view pool is so tranquilizing you might not want to leave the resort, but you will and being so close to everything is a huge plus .Our unit has a five star rating and is nearly 1,200 sq. ft. large enough to sleep 4, the two bathrooms makes this accommodation very desirable. With its great room design with views from most all areas of the unit. Fully equipped kitchen, free wireless internet, washer and dryer to dry your towels and bathing suites. Morning starter kit including our custom blended and roasted Kauai Roasted coffee. Enjoy the on site front desk, Concierge and activities service, 24 hour emergency contact and response, free mid stay bath and bed linen change and trash removal for every seven nights, daily maid service available ( for additional charge), tennis and pickleball courts, weekly morning poolside "mea'ai me kope" with fresh brewed coffee, juices, and locally baked breakfast treats. We have just finished updating one of our bathrooms and it came out amazing, just an added amenity for your pleasure.

EXCELLENT FOR OUR 25TH ANNIVERSARY!

This was our first time to Kauai and we could not have chosen a better condo to stay for our 25th Anniversary! Everything was excellent and the location perfect for all that we planned! The host was gracious in giving suggestions for things to do during our 10 days being on the island. So many great sites, restaurants and things to do as well as walks on the beach and lounging by the sparkling pool! Thank you so much and we already want to come back for even longer!

Best VRBO ever!

Perfection in Kauai

We’ve discovered our dream retreat in Kauai within the embrace of this VRBO condo. Both the owner and the property management team were not only responsive but an absolute joy to interact with. Nestled in the perfect spot in Poipu, this condo gifted us with breathtaking sunset views, enchanting whale sightings, and proximity to our beloved beaches and scenic walks. Whether it’s strolling to shops and restaurants or indulging in a round of golf, everything is conveniently within reach. The unit itself is a haven of comfort, thoughtfully appointed with renovated bathrooms that exude loveliness. The bed is a cocoon of relaxation, and the kitchen, equipped with everything one could possibly desire in terms of kitchenware, truly enhances the overall experience. February anniversary trip

The condo was very nice and comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. The condo is walking distance to everything. We had a wonderful time! Beautiful view!

Wonderful location and view

It was my first trip to Kauai and I couldn't have gotten luckier. The condo is in a great location across the street from the beach. Watching the sunset from the balcony every night was magical. The unit is quite large and has everything you need, too.

Fabulous experience

Owners thought of everything that vacationers would want and need, even if they didn’t know it! Slight disappointment that second bathroom was under renovation. Some deep cleaning and carpet shampooing should be considered. But overall experience was incredible!

Love the location

Beautiful grounds with a great pool, stunning view and convenient to beaches and other activities. The owner was helpful, fair and sent lovely flowers for our anniversary! The unit is due for some updates (which they are working on) but nothing that took away from our trip!

Wonderful stay!

Great home, huge living room, and lovely view from the lanai. The bed was also very comfy and the AC worked well. The location was convenient and it had all the amenities we could use. Highly recommend!

Beautiful

Beautiful views from a perfect location. Convenient to beaches and restaurants but far enough away from the crowds. Rooms were surprisingly large and had a nice tradewind breeze. Easily the nicest decorated rental we ever stayed in- knew it was a win when we saw Robin McCoy's art on the walls. Would love to stay longer next time!

Nice Koloa Property

The condo was nicely appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the impeccably maintained gardens and pool area. It took us a few days to learn how to work the tv’s but after all we came here to be outside. The unit needs some maintenance such as a new rug in the living room and some new hallway runners.

Poipu Kapili = GREAT VACA RENTAL!

Poipu Kapili has become my favorite place to stay in Kauai & this unit did not disappoint! Very comfortable home away from home & had all extras as needed. This side of building also boasts the best sunset views!

Awesome Condo, Amazing Location!

We loved staying here! The condo was the perfect size for my family of three. The location can't be beat - right across the street from ocean where the sea turtles hang out and walking distance to the major resorts, beaches, and restaurants. We were not able to rent a car due to car rental shortage but walked everywhere! Also, we enjoyed playing tennis & pickle ball and lounging by the pool.

A new favorite location for us!

It was our first time at Poipu Kapili and we loved this complex! My breakdown: - The grounds are well kept. We saw the crew hard at work, cleaning/trimming, every morning. - We'd walk to Poipu Beach and float in the ocean in the AM, then each evening I'd spend time in the pool/lounging poolside and reading. Loved it! It's a smaller pool but the '+' shape means there's room for more than one group to swim/play without running over one another. - I was able to email Parrish (who manages this unit) whenever I wanted and I always got a prompt reply. The check in process was so easy...texts/emails and done! This unit in particular: - I gave three stars for 'accuracy of listing' for one reason: a general "air conditioning" in the listing implies the UNIT has A/C. In reality, there is one portable unit, permanently affixed in the bedroom, and that's it. When we arrived and walked into the unit at 9pm, it was STIFLING! We searched every closet and pulled out every fan we could find. There wasn't much of a breeze that night so we took cool showers and made it through the long hot night. - We eventually figured it out: We closed the sliding wood shutters during the day to keep the heat out...which made the place very dark. Then we had the A/C unit, three stand up fans placed strategically throughout the unit, one small fan, and three ceiling fans, all going 24/7. Then, in the evenings if/when the trade winds kick in, we opened the front door and lanai doors for a cross breeze. It worked out...but just know that it takes some work to make the unit comfortable. - The buildings are older so the unit needs some TLC (cupboard doors that don't always open/close right, had to have a broken faucet replaced while we were there, etc) but overall the unit is great! It's well decorated and while we didn't sleep on the sectional (which is a sleeper) it was actually comfortable to sit on! :-) The unit is twice the size of units at a neighboring resort. - A lot of Poipu units have beach supplies (body boards, umbrellas, fins, etc) for guests to use. This place has two sand chairs, a small cooler, and a broken sand umbrella. So bring/buy your own goods. - It's a great location. You can walk to shopping, eating, coffee shops, and beaches all within a half mile or so....and more if you're willing to walk a little further. We've always stayed at a nearby condo resort...but Kapili will be our new Kauai destination.

Wonderful Ocean-Front Condo

This property was perfect for my fiancé and I to enjoy Kauai for a week. The massive living room and full kitchen made a longer stay very comfortable. We were able stock up with the full-size fridge and cook several meals. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to beaches and restaurants. One last perk was the neighbors! Some of the owners/renters of other units were very welcoming and friendly and we look forward to staying in touch with them

Garden Island paradise

Dear guest,
I know you will truly enjoy our property, it is decorated with many classic antiques from around the world. My wife Dana and I purchased this property in hopes of spending a few weeks a year on beautiful Kauai. We used to own a restaurant on Kauai called Dude Dogs in the Kukuiula center. Unfortunately I became ill and we had to close the restaurant. But now I am better and we decided to come home to this wonderful and amazing Island. I have been a real estate broker for over 45 years now and believe me when I say this, I have looked long and far and have finally found a little piece of heaven in our condo. We currently live in Pleasanton Calif. in the San Francisco bay area. I would say we have the best of both worlds, it is so hard leaving and going back to the bay, but if we didn't you wouldn't be able to enjoy what we have. Stay safe and enjoy.

Why they chose this property

This property as you can see by the photos is less than 100 yards off the ocean. It is also one of the few condos in our complex that gets nearly a year round view of the sunset, there are a couple of weeks in the early summer that you might have to walk out to the wall to see the sunset as it moves around to the West for a short period of time. That and the fact that you can walk to snorkeling or diving and also to a wonderful beach right in front of the Sheraton which is directly next door, and also shopping is within walking distance. Our if quite and private but the balcony view is second to none.
