Located just 11 miles from Llano on 300 feet of private Llano River frontage, this updated 3 bedroom, 2 bath home situated on 10 acres has all the conveniences. Mornings are heavenly on the 500 sq. foot screened porch while enjoying your coffee, watching the birds at the feeders, and taking in the river view. Walk down to the river and enjoy deep swimming holes, great fishing, or just relaxing.
The kitchen is outfitted for everything so that you can prepare your own gourmet meals. Cook outside on a charcoal grill after taking in the "most dramatic" sunset in Texas
The den has plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy your book, a Bose ipod docking station to enjoy your your music and a 42" flat screen SmartTV/DVD for movies or football-Directv network. On chilly nights light up the wood burning fireplace-gas starter-and kick back until it is time to retire to the bedroom. Master has a tempurpedic king bed, 32" flat screen TV and private bath. Second bedroom has a king size bed and third bedroom has a queen size bed. These two bedrooms share a full bath.

Favorite hill country getawat

We love this property and have stayed several times. It’s our favorite quick getaway from Austin. Very peaceful and restful. (Do be cautious with very young ones - lots of spiny or stinging flora or fauna in the country - littles cannot be outside unsupervised.)

Hidden gem

It’s a little out of the way but we really enjoy the location and the cozy home. Kids loved the river and climbing on the giant rocks. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

River front heaven

We have been staying in the hill country since I was young (my grandfather and dad are hunters). This is by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. It was pristine, about a 5 min walk from the river, and had all of the amenities that we needed.

Slice of heaven

Beautiful stay at a fabulous farmhouse. Very peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen has all you need for meal prep. The river was beautiful and relaxing. Spent our time at river or on the screened in porch watching all the birds and wildlife. Our second stay and definitely not our last. Thank you for sharing this home.

Hidden Gem

Gorgeous property along the Llano River! It was a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. One of our favorite places to hang out was the screened in porch overlooking the scenic beauty while also keeping bugs out ;) We will be visiting again at a time when rains are not as heavy (we arrived after a flooding so were not able to enjoy floating the river this time). Overall a very enjoyable visit!

Comfy river stay with nature and views!

Beautiful property! Listening to the river- the yard was designed for bird and butterfly gatherings. Front screen porch is amazing. Did I mention outdoor shower? 💜💜💜

Quiet Country Getaway

Pros: House had everything you needed to be comfortable; well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of towels for the bathrooms, even an outdoor shower to rinse off from the river. Comfortable living room furniture, plenty of seating. Screened in porch area was nice to watch the birds and sit back and relax. River was easy to access, lots of seating under shady trees to enjoy the scenery; lots of rocks to explore. Short road from house to river to either walk or drive down. It would be nice with the acreage in front of the house to add a nature trail meandering through it to offer a little more accessibility to the land (just a thought), I would have loved a little trail to walk around on other than the road. Cons: First thing we noticed, the "grass" had been mowed, but not recently and there were sticker burrs everywhere making it a little less enjoyable to walk around the grounds, especially with a short legged dog. The second thing was scorpions! We found a total of 6 inside the house during our short 2 day stay. The hot and dry summer in TX can bring them inside, but a word of caution would have been nice. Lastly, the website said there was a hot tub and ping pong...I saw ping pong paddles, but no table; I saw no hot tub either on the property. Website should be updated or if we just didn't see it, maybe a map of the property to orientate the visitors. Overall, very nice house, very quiet, very private river and very relaxing.

A new love

We found a new game that the home had available”Cornhole” we had some good laughs watching each other and their strategic moves to place the bags on the board.We may have made a hole or two. We also enjoyed the wonderful screened in porch we line danced and had the best evenings out there drinking peach tea and dancing. The mornings were a symphony orchestrated by all Gods creatures. It was a wonderful weekend. Thank you to our gracious host

A Perfect Eclipse Trip

Our family of four traveled to Llano for the eclipse. Not only was the sky clear, making for a very special experience, but this property is wonderful! One of our favorite rentals ever on VRBO. Well stocked, comfortable house in beautiful Texas hill country. The screened-in porch was perfect, the grounds were covered in wildflowers, and the access to the river was a special treat. We would love to return and linger.

So much fun

My family and I had so much fun at this property. The kids (6-17) spent their days exploring the river and all the granite formations surrounding the house. We went in November and had cooler temperatures but we plan on going back in the summer so we can enjoy the water even more.

Nice riverside home with everythjng you need for a great stay. The property was very nice even with the river being low from the drought, I can only imagine how it will be when the Hill country gets their much needed rain

Amazing home in the Texas on a prestige river

The house and river are amazing!!!! We enjoyed everything from the home amenities overlooking the beautiful llano river over carved granite. We did everything from swimming in the deep swimming holes, fishing, exploring, ping pong to enjoying the number of areas to enjoy the scenery.

Girls' weekend

This is my second time staying at Casa Roja. It's a beautiful home with a gorgeous location with access to the river. There were 5 of us on the trip and the house was just the right size for us. The only minor negatives I have are these: 1. The couch is in 3 unattached sections and moves every time someone gets up from there. I went to get up from it and it scooted backward on the tile floor and I fell on the ground. 2. The description says there is a DVD player, and there is, but it's was not connected. We had to dig around for the proper attachments to get it connected. I think that if it says a DVD player is there, it should be set up appropriately for guests and be ready to be used. Again, just minor things.
