Grand Lodge
Really nice and spacious ski chalet with a fun pool and hot tub, all within walking distance from Govt Camp downtown. We had a great time here and will definitely be back!

Great place, Beautiful area
I loved the place and it is a great area. My only complaint was that the property manager didn't leave us much information in the unit and we had the hardest time finding the pool and hot tub, and when we did find it we had no idea how to get in. The property manager never told us the code on how to get in. Still aside from that difficulty the place was great and easy to navigate.

Mountain Getaway
Bedrooms and bathrooms were great and comfortable. The furniture in the main living space needs to be replaced. The couch is broken and caved in. The kitchen floor must have had water damage because it was warped and a tripping hazard. There were crumbs on the counter when we arrived and under furniture, but otherwise clean. The power went out on the mountain while we were there and so there was no hot water to start laundry or do dishes. We unfortunately had to leave the place the way it was. The parking garage is under the building and when the power went out so did the garage door. There was not an emergency generator and the manual cord was not working, so our cars were trapped for 12 hours until a guest was able to open. We never did get a local response after many messages left with rental company. I did get $160 back from Vacasa for the state of the furniture. Great location and easy access to Govy restaurants and skiing.

Great location - would stay again without Vacasa
The location was great and most of the room was perfect. Vacasa does a poor job maintaining and communicating. The sofa we had in our unit was completely unusable. Vacasa agreed is was unacceptable and committed to having someone come right out - never happened. VRBO was great about communication but I would not be renting from anywhere managed by Vacasa in the future.

Amazing
The place is the perfect layout, the heated garage is amazing, the condo was all around great but it just needs a new couch. The “leather” is wearing off and sagging in spots but other than that it was great !!

Great condo for Mt Hood Stay
This condo provided the perfect stay for our Mt Hood vacation. The condo was cozy to come home to after some unusual cold ski days. The heated garage was key for putting on boots and such to avoid the cold fingers. Our interactions with Vacasa staff were very pleasent. We will look to book again!

Great condo
Spacious place, great location. I love that the living area isn’t compartmentalized. Needs updates, a deep clean (especially carpets and blinds) and could use more more kitchen serving and storage containers. I appreciated that toiletries and paper products were provided. We enjoyed the pool/hot tub. Would return!

Comfortable spot, warm garage
We really enjoyed staying at the Grand Lodge South. The location was great. We have little kids and just playing in the snow outside the building was perfect for us. We liked the heated garage! That is a big help when it's dumping snow outside. The house is well stocked with nice cookwesr, nice sheets and pillows. Several of the furnishings were worn/torn and they style of the furniture is dated, but the unit itself is great and clean.

Beautiful unit - but not well stocked and repair issues
This unit has a great layout and awesome great room. Basically 2 masters too. Nice newer construction. We did have some minor repair issues and the kitchen was not well stocked. Very sparse as far as dishes, no wine glasses, no salt only pepper, just 2 kitchen towels, 1 half roll of paper towels, very small dish set so we were literally washing dishes after each meal. Ice maker was clogged so we had to pull it out and clean it for it to work. Remote batteries were low, bbq igniter did not work so we had to light with a match. While one of these things is no big deal but put them all together and we were disappointed. We were only there for 2 nights and for the $$ $ paid I would expect better.

Avoid South Lodge
South Lodge is operated by Vacasa and not Collins Lake resorts and it’s a disaster. The place feels ran down and very bare. It was clean, so it’s a positive, but the carpets were plain filthy with permanent stains. My mother developed pet allergies with 20 minutes inside even though the place was advertised as pet free. The maintenance lady claimed she had never seen a singe pet on the property, and we ran into 2 dogs that very night. It took maintenance 15 min to figure out how to operate fireplace, but they did not manage to figure out the missing TV channels. There was no tea or coffee provided. For a $650 per night place you would think they’d spend a buck one coffee? Beds were super uncomfortable and the guest bed was like 4 feet tall. So my shorter parents could not get in and out and had to sleep on the bottom bunk bed and bumped their head few time at night. Garage fills up and we had to park outside at night even though 2 parking spots supposedly come with the unit. There was zero books or puzzles or anything entertaining at all. Kitchen was equipped poorly with only one pot and one pan. No salt, only pepper. Basically we could live with all that for $200 per night. But after paying $1400 for 2 nights and having to leave earlier due to moms allergies and unbareable sleeping arrangements - I will never stay there again. And will think twice about trusting Vacasa.
