This lovely Grand Lodge South mountain condo is exactly what your family has been waiting for! With views of Mt. Hood and Collins Lake, beautiful floors, and a spacious and modern living area, this home has all the amenities you need and more for your next vacation home. Challenge a loved one to a friendly game on the shared basketball court then head over to the community heated pool for a soothing dip. Take advantage of the shared fitness facility to get a quick workout in each morning while away. When everyone gets back from a day of skiing or hiking along the nearby trails, put a DVD into the Blu-ray player and enjoy a family movie night on the large flatscreen cable TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make your favorite homemade meals and lots of buttered popcorn or nachos for snacks!


No one will be bored on this vacation, as there are plenty of wintertime adventures to explore with Mt. Hood Meadows, Mt. Hood Skibowl, and Timberline Lodge nearby. Mt. Hood Outfitters is a great place to visit for winter activities such as snowmobiling, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. There is a plethora of summer activities as well like kayaking, mountain biking, paddleboarding, canoeing, hiking, whitewater rafting, waterfall tours, rock climbing, and fishing. Plus, Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl features a variety of summertime activities that include an alpine slide, mini-golf, zip lines, and horseback riding.

Great place to stay!

A great place to stay in government camp! Super clean and spacious. Had a very pretty view of the top of ski bowl and Mt Hood. Would stay here again!

Beautiful condo with lots of space and great location

Recently stayed at this condo for a family ski trip (two adults and two teens). It is very spacious and beautiful. We also really liked the location. Minutes away from Ski Bowl, and minutes away from the road leading to Timberline. Plenty of restaurants are nearby, as well as a small grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice condo, plenty of room for a family. Heated garage is great for winter and loading/unloading ski gear. Kids loved the novelty of the loft area. Minor points: the interior photos on the listing are different than the actual unit (as of Jan 23). Different couches, tables, lights, wall decorations. All still fine, but not what is in the listing. Several kitchen under-counter and hanging lights had burned out bulbs - could use some attention. Kitchen is pretty lightly furnished. More dishes/utensils would be helpful. Heated floors in master bath didn't work.

Nice place, but needs some attention to important details

This condo is a great location, however... arriving to so many burnt out bulbs in the home made preparing meals a cooking in terrible lighting experience. An unfinished load of towels were in the dryer, but we were not originally aware and wondering why the towels were so limited in our bathroom. Hard work getting all of your stuff up and down to/from the 4th floor when the carts are not available, just seems to be not enough carts there to support the building size. So other than making several trips to the room, cooking in the dark and wondering where the towels were, it's a nice place and we will possibly be back if improvements are made. We will be sure to request things are in full working order if we return. Sometimes it's the little things that make a big impact.

Lovely condo!

Well equipped kitchen, comfy couches, and easy access to all things Government Camp and Mt. Hood. The murphy bed was a treat and we pulled the single bed into one bedroom so kids could share a room together. The loft bedroom has a surprise bathroom (!!). Beds were all very very comfortable.

It was ok - way overpriced. There’s a lot of space but it’s not very usable. The bed in the loft may as well be in the kitchen - no privacy at all. There’s a Murphy bed in the laundry room next to the broom (?!). That laundry room is great for gear, however. Master is huge - could have a party in there but we’re not that fun. The microwave was dirty! Gross. The worst part was that the gas fireplace did not work. Had to call twice to jump through hoops to get someone to come fix it but it never stayed lit. Super bummer after a day of skiing. General assessment from my family of 4 was that once was enough.

We loved the location, the spaciousness of the condo and the amenities. One thing that would’ve made our stay better is if the fireplace had worked. The on-site staff were unresponsive regarding the fireplace. The reserved parking was very convenient.

Spotless upscale peaceful with stunning view

In a pandemic, Cleanliness is the first preference and this was spotless. No open containers. Every single amenity was wrapped or sealed and new. Glasses and dishes spotless. View of Mt Hood is breathtaking. Walk to town for take out or outside eating fabulous and we had four days of perfect blue sky weather with hikes to 5 different lakes and. Kayaking on one. Just absolutely perfect for a distancing getaway in the trees. We will now use Vacasa for travel arrangements. The person in the phone helped us find something we could rent near my family who didn’t have space. We’d looked online for two hours. In five minutes we had five links in a town nearby that matched what we wanted - trees and hiking.
