Carol Dillon, owner of this house was born in Buxton and her family goes back to the late 1600’s her great grandfather was a keeper of the lighthouse and her grandmother was the postmaster in Buxton for 50 years, Deep island roots, with pride, owning the shopping center where Fattys restaurant, and antique store across from the family business, Outer banks motel in Buxton. This home is an older home but has been completely renovated, new kitchen, all new flooring, large private backyard with fire pit, pool table and foosball table on first floor. The house is over 4000sf, private free parking, porches on both levels.

This is a large house that is much less money than others in Buxton because it is a five minute walk to the beach and is older. 3 TV’s, game room , large backyard. It is within walking distance of gas, restaurants, gift, miniature gold, ice cream shops, ball fields, playground, cape hatteras lighthouse and the beach. A manager is in Buxton if anything is needed. Carol has been in the motel business for 40 years in Buxton. I built this home to raise my family in. I have 4 children so it became larger and larger! Walking distance to many things.
