DIFY Cosy - Centre Ville

Apartment with lots of character renovated by a prestigious architect and fully equipped. It has a large bright living room. The apartment is located on the 6th floor of a beautiful building with an elevator.
Housing
This apartment, completely renovated and equipped, can accommodate up to 4 people (one bedroom equipped with a queen-size double bed and a living room equipped with a double sofa bed also and very comfortable). You will enjoy the apartment in full and will be free to use all the equipment. Sheets and towels are fully provided. Unlimited internet (fiber optic), TV, equipped kitchen, coffee machine, washing machine, microwave dishwasher, and mobile air conditioner.
Access of travelers
Access to the entire housing (not shared with the owner).
Other remarks
The cleaning fee includes cleaning upon arrival and after check-out but also linen, towels, toiletries, and coffee upon arrival.
Only one set of keys will be given for your stay.
You will be asked to show an original version of your ID in person upon arrival when you collect the keys.
I will welcome you at the apartment the day of your arrival. Do not hesitate to tell me more about your arrival time.
Arrival times are between 2 pm and 8 pm. Outside these hours and subject to availability, an extra charge will be required:
- 2 pm to 5 pm: 20€
- 8 pm to 11 pm: 20 €
No check in after 11 pm will be done.
When you leave, thank you to return the accommodation as you found it on your arrival.
The cleaning fee will be charged a second time in case of failure to respect the time limit for departure.

Lyon vacay
The apartment is very convenient to the bus and tram lines so getting around Lyon is fairly easy. Parking is a nightmare if you have a car and very little useful help was provided. On our own we finally found a long term secure garage, parked our car and never moved it until we left. The neighborhood is very nice and one block from Les Halles Paul Bocuse, the gourvet food market. Great oysters! We were grateful for the air-conditioner although it was a little odd on how to use it. The apartment is very spacious and had good water pressure and hot water in the shower. The kitchen is adequately equipped and we cooked two meals there. Having a washing machine was such a bonus. We would definiatey stay there again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was a good location to the train station, a nice bakery nearby, easy access to busses and the metro, and an easy walk to the river. The bed and couch were comfortable, the building was quiet, and elevator meant we didn’t have to walk up the stairs. There were some small problems: after arriving from a 7-hour train journey, we had to wait outside on the street for over an hour while the owner fixed the automatic door which prevented us from putting our bags away or using the restroom. This could have been prevented if the owner did not rely on a computerized system for checking in and instead had someone meet us on site. Also, having two of the glasses in the cabinet broken, the air conditioner being overly loud (and requiring the very large windows to be open in order to function effectively), and not leaving enough toilet paper for an 8-night stay were all negatives against an otherwise nice place to stay, However, overall, we enjoyed our stay here

Contradictory Check-In Instructions
Months ago during reservation-making, we got specific request to choose a check-in time window, with added cost outside a 3-hour window, ok with us. Nothing else was said except the street address. I assumed we would be met by a person. Instead - only by emailing again dead-tired on arrival, not an easy thing in a foreign country, we got entirely different instructions with lock-box code and secret door-buzzer. Nobody present. Very confusing. Also, soap, paper towels were a bit skimpy. But overall, location and apartment were very nice.
