DIFY Bear & Co - Hotel de Ville

Apartment with lots of character with exposed stones, large cosy living room and newly renovated. The apartment is located on the first floor with a lift in a beautiful 18th century building.
This fully renovated and equipped apartment can accommodate up to 4 people (two bedrooms with double beds). You will have exclusive use of the apartment and be free to use all the facilities. Unlimited internet, TV, equipped kitchen, coffee machine, washing machine, a mobile air conditioner and two fans.
The cleaning fees include cleaning on your arrival and after your departure as well as bed linen and towels, toiletries and coffee for your arrival. A single set of keys will be provided for your stay.

Check-in to the apartment is self-service from 5pm. An early check-in option at 2pm is possible for an additional fee of +€20.

Cleaning fees will be charged a second time in case of non-compliance with the check-out time limit.

Located in the heart of Lyon (1st arrondissement), you will find, right under your windows, all the most attractive attractions offered by our City of Light. You will find something for all tastes, restaurants, bars, museums, markets on the Quays of Soane and direct access to Vieux-Lyon. By staying here, you can travel almost exclusively on foot and have access to the Old Town, including Fourvière, St Jean and its cathedrals St Paul and St Georges, the traboules and its famous Lyonnais bouchons.
Close to the Hôtel de Ville metro station (line A) Direct bus to Part-Dieu Airport: 1/2 hour by taxi and 1 hour by shuttle (from Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu)
If you arrive by car, you can park at the Terreaux car park: 18 Rue d\'Algérie, 69001 Lyon. The apartment is a two-minute walk away.

A cold house - Une maison froide
The flat was very cold. Unfortunately, only one of the 4 radiators (including the bathroom towel dryer) was working. The flat is nice but far from the brightness seen in the photos. The nearby car park is convenient - except when full - but very expensive.L'appartement était très froid. Il n'y avait malheureusement qu'un radiateur sur les 4 (le séche serviette de la salle de bain inclus) qui fonctionnait. L'appartement est sympathique mais loin de la luminosité vue sur les photos. Le parking proche est commode - sauf quand elle affiche complet - mais très cher.

Great location for visiting Lyon
The property was fine. Clean, tidy, although some of the construction was somewhat of lesser quality (eg the bathroom vanity). There were no electrical outlets near the beds and no bedside lamps. On the other hand having 2 showers was nice. A few more rolls of toilet paper and coffee pods would have been welcome. Location is 1 minute from the town hall. Most of the nighttime party noise could be blocked by having the upstairs windows closed.

A fantastic taste of Lyon!
We were thrilled to be returning to Lyon after living here for one year from 2013-2014. The apartment was nicely decorated, and there was a good amount of space in the living room and kitchen. If you are looking for a place with air conditioning, be aware that there is only one unit in the living room, which does work very well, but there are no units in the two bedrooms which are loft style. There were fans in there that worked a little, but it was still quite warm up there. If you are used to sleeping with air conditioning, you will just need to be prepared. If you have a personal neck fan and leave it next to your pillow you will be just fine. The only issue that we had with the cleanliness of the apartment was that it was obvious that someone had been smoking in the apartment and there was a smell of smoke that lingered on our clothes and also seeped into our suitcases causing us to have to do laundry as soon as we returned home. I did not check back to see if smoking was allowed, but this is just something to be aware of if the smell of smoke does bother you. The kitchen was large and had everything needed to prepare a meal and they even included a few coffee pods! The location was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would probably stay here again given that it was a great value.

Great location in Lyon
This is a great apartment location for a stay in Lyon. The apartment was spotless and nicely appointed. We didn't look at the photos well enough before booking it - we're older and need frequent trips to the bathroom during the night. The stairs have no handrail (which we didn't notice in the photo) and the location of light switches didn't make a nighttime trip feel very safe. After looking again at the listing, we accept that we just didn't choose well, nothing against the owner or mgt company. We loved the location for getting around the city.

If you are looking for a quiet but centrally located place in Lyon ... this is it! We had a great stay at this place, plenty of restaurants and bars around... which gives you the feel that you are living like a local!

Très bel appartement,bien situé,proche du centre et du vieux Lyon.. beaucoup de jeunes habitent l'immeuble et cela à été très bruyant la 1ere nuit..ensuite l'appartement était conforme à nos attentes...
