We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Annette’s Hideaway! It was just what we were looking for on our weekend trip. It was secluded and very spacious for our family. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and the seclusion with the beautiful outdoors. The host was very accommodating as well! Thanks for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
We had a weekend getaway and loved the privacy and all the wildlife and farm animals around us. This cabin being pet friendly even made it better so we could bring our dog with us.

Farmhouse Cabin
This is located on a working farm, so you will hear people working early in the morning. The cabin itself has a very interesting layout.
We did not like the check-in process as check in about 15 miles away, and they give you a printout with directions on how to get to the cabin, as the cabin apparently doesn't have an address. Also we could hear mice running/scratching in the ceiling during our stay.
Overall we did enjoy our stay, but some improvements could have been made.
The place was great. People were freindly and helpful. The house was just Beautiful and well kept. The area was quiet and relaxing. Just what we were looking for.
The pickup for the keys was a distance away from the cabin. I would of preferred a lock box on site with the key. Close to nearby stores and places to get food. There is a very friendly dog and cat that lived at the cabin, they stay all day and night outside. They will go away if you tell them to. Small pond with catch and release on site was nice. A lot of cows roaming around. It was a working farm so there is activity at the cow barn. There was a lot of bee activity on the two deck areas ( left a note for the owner) Overall a beautiful, peaceful, clean, and enjoyable cabin stay! The biggest cabin we have ever stayed in with everything you need. We brought our own firewood, a man said he would bring us some, but forgot. There was a bunch of cut up pine tree wood from a falling tree, but was very smoky. There was no brush to clean the grill so bring one. There was no cleaning supplies either. The hot tub was very nice and clean, one of the nicer ones at a cabin. There are several steps going from room to room that you need to be careful with in the dark. Would be nice if they would put a string of lights underneath them for safety. The deck area is amazing minus the bees. The back yard by the fire pit was very nice. Overall great hidden gem for some rest and relaxation. If we are ever in the area again we would love to stay again. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.
Don't let the photos keep you away! This little hideaway is perfect! Clean as a whistle and would be great for two families as there are basically two separate living/sleeping/kitchen spaces (one on each level). The deck is super peaceful and the sunroom is warm and cozy. Our kiddo enjoyed the farm dog, Boomer, and Fuzzy the cat who hung around with us all weekend. We enjoyed the privacy of the hottub and had a big fire under the stars!
We enjoyed a peaceful getaway here and it is super close to town (Campton) if you need a few groceries or gas, etc.
Our only complaint was that we were halfway to the property before we called the mgmt company to discover that we had to stop in at the office to pick-up a key so we had to backtrack for that. Would be great to just have a keypad and not have to make that extra stop. The office staff was super friendly and helpful with directions.
It is an absolutely beautiful farm area outside. Many cows are nearby and saw deer walking through the property. We did run into one issue where I was actually upset the first night, because this listing says 3 bedrooms but I only saw two so it put us in a situation. There is a third bedroom upstairs, but the door blends into the wall. It’s like a secret room. I would just try to explain that better.
Great place to stay the owner is truly an amazing person
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Tons of room awesome views. The owner had the fire place loaded and burning for us upon our arrival. So many great things to do here. I loved the trip
This rental is in a perfect location for all activities at Red River Gorge. Beautiful farm house with very friendly dog and cat that visits daily. Rick was very helpful and supplied an abundance of fire wood for the wood burning stove and the campfire at night. The hot tub was clean and in a perfect location to watch the stars at night. Easy check in. We will definately stay again!!
House is in a great location tucked away. Hot tub was a huge hit and the perfect place to unwind. House had plenty of room for all the mom's, but we would have appreciated more plates and glassware.
I would stay here again when coming back to the Gorge.
Our stay was delightful and we found the coziest private spaces for times when our parties wanted separate moments, as well as common areas large enough to all come together and enjoy what felt like an old fashioned dinner table visit, a crackling fire, walk over the hills, laughter and conversation at the large outdoor deck bar, or a moonlight soak in the hot tub together. The resident dog and cat were great receiving hosts and the pond offered peaceful fishing. Thank you for sharing your horse stable home. It was charming. We had a great time.
This was the most peaceful, relaxing place I have ever stayed in! That's exactly what I was looking for. The home owner was more then helpful and the property and house are very well taken care of. The dog and cat were a wonderful bonus! I would love to go back and bring more family next time.
Nice, spacious cabin overlooking a farm. Close the hiking trails. Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the cows and other farm animals. High speed internet is better than advertised. Would definitely come back.
My family and my sister's family stayed for the weekend. We had a fabulous time! Kids enjoyed an intense game of hide and seek- house was once a barn and has since been converted...super cool! By far the coolest place we have stayed using VRBO. Would suggest to put the office as the address listing. In my haste, couldn't find the welcome e-mail, so we had to drive back to the office to fetch the actual key to the house. No worries, it all worked out. Maybe put some night lights where there are steps leading to the bottom floor bedroom. We loved the place!
This cabin was amazing. Wood stove was cozy. Beautiful location. Owner was great! We loved the spaciousness. The hot tub was wonderful. Had a wonderful Christmas stay. Everything was clean. Everything you needed was there. Will be back often!
We had a nice stay on the farm. We enjoyed the farm animals and pets on the property. (My little boy adored Rocket the dog).
My only suggestion for the property would be to supply forks and knives. All we found were spoons to use in the downstairs kitchen. Thanks for letting our family stay in your home!
