The Neighborhood:
North Park is a vibrant and eclectic neighborhood in central San Diego, bordered by Hillcrest, University Heights, Normal Heights, and Balboa Park. Once a residential suburb, it has evolved into a trendy and artistic community, known for its historic homes, diverse culture, and lively arts scene.
Getting Around:
The home has a private 2-3 car driveway as well as an abundant amount of street parking. Walking and/or biking is the best way to get around central North Park & South Park, as well as other neighborhoods like Normal Heights, University Heights, South Park, and Golden Hill. Ubers and Lyfts are readily available for pick-ups and its quick 10-minute drive to the Airport making traveling a breeze.

Pet Policy:
- Approval Required: All pets must be approved by the host. Add them to your reservation and include their weight and breed in a message.
- Allowed: 1 hypoallergenic or low-shedding dog up to 30 pounds per reservation.
- Fee: $200; guests staying over two weeks must schedule a mid-stay cleaning.
- Unapproved Pets: $500 fee or more for unapproved pets, depending on damages.
Rules: Pets must have their own bed, cannot be on furniture or beds, and must be walked for bathroom needs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after pets.
Damage: Additional fees may apply for damages caused by pets.
- San Diego's mild climate means A/C is rarely needed except for a few weeks at the end of summer. We’ve installed portable A/C units in each bedroom, while the central unit is for heating only.
- The home features a full bathroom and a half bathroom indoors, plus a relaxing zen outdoor shower (no sink) in the backyard.
- Only the guests on the booked reservation are allowed at the house. No additional guests and/or visitors are allowed at the house unless approved in advance.
- We've created a gorgeous and welcoming space for friends and family to relax and be together. Our home is not a party house. We ask guests to respect our home, our lovely neighborhood and our neighbors during their stay.
- We have a strict NO smoking policy on our property.
- Guests must observe quiet hours from 9 PM to 8 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum and move conversations indoors after 9 PM to respect neighbors. If you plan to make excessive noise, this property may not be suitable for you.
- We have a policy in place that does not permit outdoor music or portable speakers. This policy helps us ensure a peaceful and enjoyable environment for our neighbors and community.
- If the rules are not followed and there is a City of San Diego violation cited as a result of a guest making excessive noise, we have the right to fine the Guest. By booking, Guest acknowledges “good neighbor policy” and responsibility to pay fines levied by the City of San Diego if policy is broken.
