Located in downtown Government Camp, this single level beautifully furnished condo will welcome you home from a day spent skiing or hiking to a comfortable and inviting living area complete with a gas fireplace and a large modern kitchen. Each spacious bedroom features a comfortable Posturepedic mattress for a restful night's sleep. When you aren't inside enjoying this luxurious paradise, you can venture out to the Grand Lodges' heated outdoor swimming pool, large hot tub, and sauna! With views of Mt. Hood, Collins Lake, and the slopes of Mt. Hood Skibowl, this Grand Lodge South home is a perfect place to come back to year after year.

Government Camps, great shops, restaurants, and brewpubs are all just an easy stroll from this rental. You are also just minutes from the nearby Adventure Park and Mt Hood Ski Bowl. The adventure park offers a variety of summer activities including an Alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, mountain biking, and mini-golf. In the winter, Ski Bowl provides 65 runs that will challenge skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Timberline Lodge (six miles), and Mt. Hood Meadows (13 miles) are also within easy driving distance. There is a shuttle from the condo driveway on weekends and holidays. Come summertime, you'll have plenty to do, including wonderful hiking and mountain biking at local trails and lakes within a 20-minute drive.

Great Location, but the details leave something to be desired.

I stayed here for a week while snowboarding at Timberline & Mt. Hood Meadows. The Good: - The condo is easy to get to in Government Camp, and there is plenty of space for at least a 3-4 person family if not more. - The TV has all of the streaming services you'd want, and the couch is comfy. - The kitchen is fairly well appointed, and the bunk beds are a hit with kids. - It's a niche bonus, but the wax room is a huge plus for those that like to wax their own gear. The Bad: - There were several broken items throughout the place (multiple blinds, the jacuzzi tub, toilet paper holder in bathroom, cupboard door, closet door, game table); the toilet paper holder and closet door meant my young child could not use that bathroom or the bedroom with the broken closet door. - There were tons of tiny flying bugs in the master bedroom that meant that spending any time in there with the lights on meant that they'd be landing on you while you're in bed or in the non-working jacuzzi tub (I ended up killing 50+ in the first two nights). - Even though i brought these issues to their attention in the first 24 hours, the property management folks didn't attempt to address any of these issues until after my stay was over. Good to know: - The parking garage has low clearance, so if you're carrying bikes on top of your car you'll have to park outside. - The public pool & hot tub are about a 5 minute walk from the room; fine in the summer but freezing in the winter.

Beautiful Condo!

This is a beautiful condo and it's very big! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The furniture is very comfortable and the beds are to die for! Very short drive to Timberline. Downtown Government Camp is cute and within walking distance. We can't wait to go back!

Place was convenient, but amentiites spartan

The space was large, but the cleaning prior to arrival was suspect/dirty. Had to do cleaning to feel comfortable. The kitchen utensils, plates, etc. were a bit sparse and had clean often to have enough. The lighting in the bathrooms was very poor. Even though a pool was available, no information as to how to access the locked gate.

Winter wonderland

We stayed in the south lodge and loved it! The condo was stocked, and the jetted tub in the master was wonderful. Walking distance to the hot tub/pool, and close enough to walk to the restaurants and shops!

No water, fire alarms that can’t be turned off, broken TV remote

The property itself is very nice, but we lost water (as in water stopped coming out of faucets, no water pressure) every day. Starting Saturday, the smoke detector in the primary bedroom started beeping, and because it’s hard wired into the unit, you can’t take it down. We could reset it and go without it beeping for about eight hours. Waking us up at 2am with beeping was not ideal. The remote for the main RV was also broken (not needing more batteries, just broken). So between not being able to shower, being woken up in the middle of the night, and a broken TV, things were not ideal.

Classy digs

Upscale kitchen with high end appliances. Spacious rooms and quieter than we expected. Nice to be able to park in a heated garage off street. Whirlpool tub didn’t function properly so were unable to use. Great shower though. Would stay here again.
