Run away from the rat race to our beautiful cabin. Conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown McCaysville and the Toccoa river 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. No scary gravel roads to maneuver, paved roads all the way to the driveway. Relax by the outdoor fireplace on one of the many rocking chairs on the wraparound porch in the winter months or unwind in the hot tub. If relaxing isn't your thing, there is a game room on the terrace (basement) level, which has a pool table and dartboard. There's also a lot of board games in the upstairs closet. Or you can give the custom DPL Cornhole boards a try. if you don't play well with others, LOL give the ring game on the porch a try. There is something for everyone, There is a very well-stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. And a new grill for those who like to BBQ.

New Year’s Trip

The cabin and amenities were everything and more! There was plenty of room, and a well stocked kitchen. Loved the basement gaming area, and the local wildlife feeding spots. Lots of birds and deer to view from the wrap around porch while sitting by the outdoor fireplace. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

This Cabin was the best we've ever stayed at. Clean, convenient to town, very modern. Back porch was wonderful for watching wildlife. Hummingbirds (amazing), young blue jays, flock of wild turkeys and saw a buck with some deers. Beds were comfortable. I would stay longer if I could. There is so much to do around the area and this cabin was a perfect location. Would highly recommend. The host was very quick to respond to my questions.

Awesome Property

The cabin was perfect-beautiful setting with a lot of wildlife-deer, turkeys, birds. Super man cave with a pool table and dart board. Highly recommend.

Cute Property

Very nice property. The owners had thought of everything. There is a nice firepit outside with wood. The home has a hot tub which we didn't use but it will if we return in the future. There is a fireplace outside on the porch which was a nice way to ward off the morning chill. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the squirrels and birds. Inside was a comfortable sized open floorplan with the kitchen/couches and a table. The kitchen was well stocked so we just had to bring food. The beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets if needed. The bathrooms had enough towels and the place felt clean and well taken care of. If we ever visit this area again - which we may - we will try and stay here again. The only downside is the area - not this home. Uber nor Lyft exist and the local guy was $40 each way to drive us the mile and half into town. We were in town for concerts at Tooney's - which is a great new venue! Highly recommend.

Great Getaway!

Enjoyed our long weekend! Everything was as advertised. We played darts and pool, the husbands sat around the fire pit, and my sister and I played cards and hung out a lot by the fireplace on the deck. We enjoyed feeding the deer and the birds. It was a great place to stay and I would definitely book again.

Really quiet and restful

Great accommodations -- we cooked, played billiards, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the woods, and slept very well. It's close to Blue Ridge and a short drive to nice hiking. Nice spot!!

Cozy home away from home

This was our second time staying at the Deer Pine Lodge. It was perfect! Decorated for Christmas and all the fireplaces Easy to use. Hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. My favorite were the deer that congregate in the back yard, enticed by the deer feed (supplied by host)! Spent more time at home, then wondering around. Excellent family getaway

Wonderful cabin and location!

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property. It was clean and the owners had thought of everything. It was convenient to both McCaysville and Blue Ridge but was still quiet and allowed us to truly feel "away from it all."

Wonderful Cabin

We stayed in the beautiful cabin to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect. The hosts thought of everything imaginable to make it feel like home. Make sure you go into town to the Rum Cake Lady. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and well kept property

This property was 5 stars all the way around. Communication with owners was also very responsive and great. Only issue dealt with the Air Conditioning. Owners have a note on A/C control pad asking NOT to turn A/C down below 72 because the unit would freeze over. We stayed at the end of July. That made the stay uncomfortable because we prefer to have temp around 68-70. But otherwise- everything was great.

The Back Porch

The property was exactly as described and all photos were current so we were very pleased. Beautiful shaded lot with plenty of hardwoods so the only sound we typically heard for hours was just the leaves rustling in the wind, which is exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy. Abundance of beautiful birds including a hummingbird that we haven’t seen in forever. Although the house contained everything you could possibly need, there’s only one thing I would add. A couch on the porch doubling as a bed to go along with the very nice kitchen and I think we would have just eaten and slept out there too! Plan to go again and would definitely recommend.

48th Birthday Girls Weekend!

I can’t say enough about this property, the location is gorgeous and the cabin is stunning, it was truly the perfect way to spend my birthday weekend. From the moment we stepped into Deer Pine Lodge, we knew that we were going to love our weekend home. Not only was the cabin equipped with everything that we could need, but we found special touches everywhere that made it feel just like home. Everything was tastefully decorated, according to the theme, and created a warm welcoming space where we could just be. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplaces, cozying up with a drink and chatting the night away. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to cook dinner and enjoy the our meal overlooking the beautiful wooded view. We enjoyed watching the fire flicker from the hot tub and then when we all retired, there was room enough for us all to have our own comfortable spaces. The beds and linens were so soft, prompting a good nights rest to venture to the charming town of McCaysville, just down the road. There is absolutely nothing about this home or the surrounding area that does not deserve a 5+ star. We highly recommend and will definitely return!

Amazing Cabin

The reviews are all spot on, this cabin has everything you could ever need! I have stayed in a lot of rental properties and this one was by far the best. The owners truly thought of everything, and I have never felt more at "home" than I did at this cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner. Getting to the property and into the home was simple, the cabin was spacious and the back porch was a great place to gather with everyone. Fair warning, one of the queen beds listed is a pull out couch. This cabin was absolutely perfect and we can not wait to return.

Awesome!

Cannot say enough good things about this place and be people who own it. Had to change dates at the last minute because m husband had a stroke in February. Was not a problem at all for Dawn and Scott. Perfect place for my husband to continue healing. Easy cabin to drive to, even at night, after driving from Florida. Everything we needed was supplied and the place is beautiful. The birds were fun to watch in the morning and the deer coming up in late afternoon was just beautiful. Seven deer all together as we stood on the porch and watched quietly. Will definitely book again and bring the family.

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed at Deer Pine Lodge for a weekend away with friends. Our group had 4 adults plus 4 kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. We take yearly trips and this was by far the cleanest cabin we’ve stayed at and stocked with everything you should need for your visit. The owners were excellent to communicate quickly with answers to any questions we had. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to stay again in the future!

PERFECT GETAWAY

I absolutely loved this cabin. It was very much up to my standards, which can be pretty high. I have stayed in many cabins and this one by far has been the nicest. It has plenty of space for the family. I have two teens so they each got their own space. The master bedroom was very nice and the master bath was very classy. The fireplace is a lovely addition; the family and I sat in front of the fire and played games. We brought our own games, but didn't really need to as there was plenty at the cabin. This truly was a great weekend get away.

Couldn't have been any better!

This was one of the most beautiful well equipped cabins we've ever stayed in. Everything you would ever need. Board games, gas fireplaces, outside fire pit with wood. Hot tub was great. Movies, board games and literally 5 mins from downtown. This cabin is a must. Highly recommended for family time.

We have been visiting Blue Ridge for many years, we bought land in Mineral bluff in 2007 with the intent to build our dream home for retirement. we decided we couldn't wait that long to have a home there. so when this house came on the market our realtor knew it was just what we were looking for, she was right. we love our new second home, and we hope you do too!

Why they chose this property

After years of renting cabins up there and having to maneuver treacherous roads and long drives to town, we jumped on this house. It has lots of privacy and is in the woods but its just a short manageable drive to Town whether it be, McCaysville, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Murphy NC, Copperhill TN.

What makes this property unique

The gated wraparound porch is this cabins unique feature! with the beautiful propane fireplace,(I used to be a log girl, but OMG the propane is SO instant and handy) numerous rocking chairs, picnic table, grill, cornhole boards and bags, and last but not least the hot tub.
