Convenient sanctuary, all paved roads, only 15 minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge.

Run away from the rat race to our beautiful cabin. Conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown McCaysville and the Toccoa river 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. No scary gravel roads to maneuver, paved roads all the way to the driveway. Relax by the outdoor fireplace on one of the many rocking chairs on the wraparound porch in the winter months or unwind in the hot tub. If relaxing isn't your thing, there is a game room on the terrace (basement) level, which has a pool table and dartboard. There's also a lot of board games in the upstairs closet. Or you can give the custom DPL Cornhole boards a try. if you don't play well with others, LOL give the ring game on the porch a try. There is something for everyone, There is a very well-stocked kitchen for those who like to cook. And a new grill for those who like to BBQ.

16th Birthday celebration for my daughter

I have stayed in quite a few cabins i must say none was as clean and fully stocked as this one it was very nice and the deer feeding was very cool and different for me and the kids we highly recommend ans we will definitely book again..

Very relaxing cabin

We absolutely loved staying here. Very welcoming and great layout. We enjoyed feeding the deer and watching them nightly as well as the cozy hot tub. Would definitely recommend.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay! Firewood was provided.and we sat around the campfire each afternoon/evening. Enjoyed the fireplace on the porch each morning and evening while husband enjoyed the hottub. Location was very peaceful but close to the things we wanted to do. Master bed mattress was a little hard, but was pleased with everything else.

New Year’s Trip

The cabin and amenities were everything and more! There was plenty of room, and a well stocked kitchen. Loved the basement gaming area, and the local wildlife feeding spots. Lots of birds and deer to view from the wrap around porch while sitting by the outdoor fireplace. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

This Cabin was the best we've ever stayed at. Clean, convenient to town, very modern. Back porch was wonderful for watching wildlife. Hummingbirds (amazing), young blue jays, flock of wild turkeys and saw a buck with some deers. Beds were comfortable. I would stay longer if I could. There is so much to do around the area and this cabin was a perfect location. Would highly recommend. The host was very quick to respond to my questions.

Weekend getaway

This cabin was perfect for our weekend trip. We came to see Corey Smith at Tooneys and the location of the cabin was ideal. Beautiful, clean, and peaceful—just as described. Hope to visit again!

Awesome Property

The cabin was perfect-beautiful setting with a lot of wildlife-deer, turkeys, birds. Super man cave with a pool table and dart board. Highly recommend.

Cute Property

Very nice property. The owners had thought of everything. There is a nice firepit outside with wood. The home has a hot tub which we didn't use but it will if we return in the future. There is a fireplace outside on the porch which was a nice way to ward off the morning chill. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the squirrels and birds. Inside was a comfortable sized open floorplan with the kitchen/couches and a table. The kitchen was well stocked so we just had to bring food. The beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets if needed. The bathrooms had enough towels and the place felt clean and well taken care of. If we ever visit this area again - which we may - we will try and stay here again. The only downside is the area - not this home. Uber nor Lyft exist and the local guy was $40 each way to drive us the mile and half into town. We were in town for concerts at Tooney's - which is a great new venue! Highly recommend.

Great Getaway!

Enjoyed our long weekend! Everything was as advertised. We played darts and pool, the husbands sat around the fire pit, and my sister and I played cards and hung out a lot by the fireplace on the deck. We enjoyed feeding the deer and the birds. It was a great place to stay and I would definitely book again.

Really quiet and restful

Great accommodations -- we cooked, played billiards, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the woods, and slept very well. It's close to Blue Ridge and a short drive to nice hiking. Nice spot!!

Cozy home away from home

This was our second time staying at the Deer Pine Lodge. It was perfect! Decorated for Christmas and all the fireplaces Easy to use. Hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. My favorite were the deer that congregate in the back yard, enticed by the deer feed (supplied by host)! Spent more time at home, then wondering around. Excellent family getaway

Wonderful cabin and location!

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property. It was clean and the owners had thought of everything. It was convenient to both McCaysville and Blue Ridge but was still quiet and allowed us to truly feel "away from it all."

Wonderful Cabin

We stayed in the beautiful cabin to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect. The hosts thought of everything imaginable to make it feel like home. Make sure you go into town to the Rum Cake Lady. We would stay here again.

Beautiful and well kept property

This property was 5 stars all the way around. Communication with owners was also very responsive and great. Only issue dealt with the Air Conditioning. Owners have a note on A/C control pad asking NOT to turn A/C down below 72 because the unit would freeze over. We stayed at the end of July. That made the stay uncomfortable because we prefer to have temp around 68-70. But otherwise- everything was great.

The Back Porch

The property was exactly as described and all photos were current so we were very pleased. Beautiful shaded lot with plenty of hardwoods so the only sound we typically heard for hours was just the leaves rustling in the wind, which is exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy. Abundance of beautiful birds including a hummingbird that we haven’t seen in forever. Although the house contained everything you could possibly need, there’s only one thing I would add. A couch on the porch doubling as a bed to go along with the very nice kitchen and I think we would have just eaten and slept out there too! Plan to go again and would definitely recommend.

We have been visiting Blue Ridge for many years, we bought land in Mineral bluff in 2007 with the intent to build our dream home for retirement. we decided we couldn't wait that long to have a home there. so when this house came on the market our realtor knew it was just what we were looking for, she was right. we love our new second home, and we hope you do too!

Why they chose this property

After years of renting cabins up there and having to maneuver treacherous roads and long drives to town, we jumped on this house. It has lots of privacy and is in the woods but its just a short manageable drive to Town whether it be, McCaysville, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, Murphy NC, Copperhill TN.

What makes this property unique

The gated wraparound porch is this cabins unique feature! with the beautiful propane fireplace,(I used to be a log girl, but OMG the propane is SO instant and handy) numerous rocking chairs, picnic table, grill, cornhole boards and bags, and last but not least the hot tub.
