The Lookout is an absolute gem! It's a beautifully renovated 1941 beach bungalow with all the modern comforts and yet retains its cozy charm! And being just a short walk from the beach is the cherry on top! The gas/log fireplaces add a touch of warmth and ambiance, perfect for those cozy evenings after a day of beach fun. Imagine the open kitchen being a hub for delicious meals and shared memories with family and friends. With consistent 5-star ratings, it's clear that The Lookout offers a truly special experience for anyone looking to unwind by the sea.

What a view!

We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Dillon Beach.. The house was beyond perfect for us and the location was amazing! The property rental company even provided a little Thanksgiving welcome present which saved me since I forgot the sparkling cider! Thank you for the stay we will be back.

Perfect Beach House

Beautiful view with ample parking. Extremely well appointed and very welcoming for both humans and dogs. The beach is a short easy walk. Our favorite place to stay in Dillon's Beach.

Summer stay

Perfect location for Dillon Beach. Easy walk to beach and the all important General Store. Ample parking which was key for the summer when the beach crowds arrive. The parking is also great if you have a larger vehicle, which can be tight with other Dillon properties. House is clean and comfortable. Views from balcony are gorgeous. Nicely updated kitchen. The downstairs was a perfect spot for kids to have they own space to play while the grownups relax upstairs. Will definitely return.

Lovely lookout!

Great place to spend a family weekend. Quick walk to the general store and beach. Perfect for family. Amazing view. Clean and modern kitchen and bathrooms. A beautiful home away from home. None of us wanted to leave!

Family stay

Nice area, very cute. Not owned by an indici but a rental company that uses VRBO as a third party. We wanted to reschedule due to family coming down with Covid and another elder in the ER but was denie. We even purchased insurance but it didn’t apply because it was through VRBO and not them. I still don’t understand but did not have the time or mental energy to fight on the matter. Overall nice place. Just not the best customer service and the insurance situation was very unfair to customers.

Beautiful and well-equipped bungalow

Reviewer Comments: This newly renovated bungalow has just about everything you need- dishes, cookware, spices, coffee, food wrap, storage bags, books, games and so much more. The view of the ocean from the upper floor is spectacular! There is one drawback, and that is the lower level is cold. The electric fireplace does heat up the living room after a while. We used a space heater that was provided, in front of the downstairs bathroom. The TV, which is located downstairs, is a bit too small and positioned high over the fireplace, which made for difficult viewing. Everything else was wonderful! The walk on the beach was fabulous.

The easy walk to the beach and beautiful ocean views made the location of the house a good fit for our family. The house was clean, comfortable, and had enough space to cook dinners together but still find personal time space in the say too.

The Lookout is aptly named

What a beautiful house with an awesome view and only 5 minute walk to the beach. It is obviously a well loved home with everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is so very comfortable to spend time there. The view out the windows are amazing. A great place to watch the ocean from, all day. Which we did because we rented it for the week and worked. Set up our computers on the dining table and did our work like any other day. Except for wonderful walks on the beach with our dog in the morning and sunset. And when we looked up from our computers, there was Bodega Bay in all its splendor. I never got tired of it. It is really a perfect place except for one thing. The upstairs queen bed mattress. It's old, slopes to the middle, transmits every movement of one person to the other, and is just generally uncomfortable. Buy a new mattress and this place is PERFECT!
