Our Stay at Chalet Lani was Awesome

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was super easy, the place was clean and as advertised. A great layout for families who have young ones that want to sleep in or that have older ones who like to stay up later. This place is a very short walk to the start of the Rubicon trail which we enjoyed walking and biking and ATVing along. This was the perfect spot for our family get together.

Awesome Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you will need. Oh maybe bring a Kitchen knife ( we only found one). Location is super quite and end of a ct. Hot Tub is a plus and tons of games and movies. Beds are very comfortable. Could use some up dated patio furniture. There is a gas and charcoal grill :)

Tahoe vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location and the kitchen was well stocked. There were a few dated items and the place was a bit dusty. Some of the pillows were sweaty and dirty and the carpet needs updating. The cleaning crew could have done a better job in the bathrooms and the wood floors. The coffee table had a sharp latch that cut my child’s leg.

McKinney Creek rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Almost everything about the house was good. I particularly enjoyed the view of the Milky Way from the hot tub. The gas grill is runted out, cooks very unevenly and need to be replaced. The house apparently did not have cable box which should be mentioned in the online description. Very well equipped kitchen.

The house was very outdated. The Windows are super dirty, the decking is super dirty. Should all be

Power washed. The master shower doors are very wobbly and smells like mildew. The shower head in the 2nd bathroom is painful on the body. T s don’t really work well and the channels in master are only local. All the games are missing pieces and old. Bedding needs to be updated and less pillows everywhere as they are just dirt collectors. The beds were very uncomfortable as well. I know this house is cheaper but shouldn’t take allt to make or a nicer stay. Sorry

Chalet Lani in the Woods

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented through Westlake properties in the past with no issues. However, this time was different. Promised they would fix the screens that were missing which would not allow proper ventilation. 3 days went by before the screen guy came. Unfortunately we were leaving the next day. The original description mentioned ceiling fans of which there were none. The kitchen is not adequately stocked with pans, etc. The neighbors were screaming at each other early one morning. Liked the view of the trees. Was reimbursed for our trouble somewhat. I would not rent this home again and did not have a great experience with Westlake properties.

Needs an update

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house would have been fine if it had been appropriately cleaned, furnished and stocked with the most basic of essentials. For what they are charging per night, the house desperately needs to be updated. There is a bug infestation in the home, huge spiders and gnats are everywhere buzzing around while you sleep, laying in bed with your phone screen lit up the flying insects would swarm to your bright screen - maybe they live in the drab, old, dust covered, fake plants that seem in every room. The entire house lacks a single comfortable place to sit down, the three “couches” are actually very narrow sofa beds, with disgusting, matted, worn out cushions that were thin to begin with, covered with filthy, stained throw pillows that should be thrown in the trash. Three sofa beds upstairs? This isn’t a bunk house and it deserves a comfortable couch, rather than three full size pull out beds in the living and dining rooms. Zero basic essentials - no salt & pepper, cooking oil, ice cube trays... makes the stay very difficult. No problems with west lake properties, the check in and check out we’re just fine.

Best Wilderness Property

Relaxing weekend! Beautiful location without noise from the road and backing to wild forrest lands. We watched a mama black bear and her small cub explore the trees from the balcony of the cabin. I am grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. The open floor plan living area was great -- my dad said this was the nicest rental property he's ever stayed at. The home heating controls were easy to operate, responsive, and ultra quiet. The bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were not updated, but fit our needs just fine. The hot tub got hot, after pressing the up button on the controls. Enjoy!
