First time using Vrbo and I was impressed with the listing. Accurate details, great location and so relaxing by the lake. I brought my pets which was a huge plus for me. The house was very comfortable and Lydie was quite accommodating with our check out time. Recommend this house for anyone looking to get away and relax.
We were so pleased to spend our time in FL in a neighborhood home across from Lake Osborne. It was nice to be five minutes from Lake Worth Beach and not in the middle of it. We could enjoy the restaurants but not deal with the noise and the people. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the large porch in the back of the house! Pictures truly reflect the home. Lydie checked in with us and was available if we needed anything -which we didn’t. We will stay again when we are back in town.
Let me make it perfectly clear. The house ONLY gets a 3.0. The extra star is because of the location. It is right across the street from a lovely lake with a nice walking path and many birds to see. The house itself is just fine. The A/C works well even the times I needed heat. The appliances work. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood feels safe & is well lit for nighttime walks. The back yard is far from useable. It is overgrown, and full of small burrs and nettles. If you let your pet out be sure to have a good brush with teeth handy. (Update-a week before I left the landscapers came. Still lots of burrs & nettles left). There were several issues when I got there. One issue took 3 weeks to fix-the front screen door would not close so I could not open the door for fresh air. Who knows what might have flown in? Another issue took 5 weeks to fix-the “screened” in porch had a big gap that my 45 lb dog was able to fit through. I could not open the back door for fresh air. Who knows what might have flown in? Another issue was never fixed-the microwave handle was partially broken & seemed to be ready to break off entirely at any time. If you watch TV you need to bring your Roku or other such device. There are only extremely basic twelve channels of which ⅓ are useless and no ABC or PBS. The house needs some extra care as there were several smaller issues that need looking after. The homeowner was nice and easy to reach, but things just didn’t seem to get done. I don’t think I should have had to deal with problems during my 8 week stay.

What makes this property unique
This home is unique and is a typical Florida home with huge spaces and a touch of the Keys. The stepdown and the 600sf patio allow people to live outside surrounded by plants and trees. The lake is across the property on the sunset side. The back screened patio is enormous with hammock and swingchairs .
