The Sycamore Cottage is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom one story single family home. The single floor design hosts two queen size bedrooms, an open layout kitchen, dining, and living room along with 1.5 bathrooms complete with laundry for your use. A queen air mattress and couch are available as well for guests. Private Hot Tub included!

Peaceful Charming Cottage

This is a darling house — we enjoyed the modern coastal vibe and open concept LR, DR and kitchen. In addition to the chic decor we appreciated the well outfitted kitchen — especially the Nespresso machine and milk frother plus pods. Ivan and Carly are great hosts and provided so many extra amenities, including Terry bathrobes and slippers, snacks and a bottle of wine! We especially liked the cottage handbook that provided a lot of helpful info about the house and Harbor Country restaurant recommendations — if only more hosts would do that! The beds were comfortable but it was too bright in the morning to sleep late. It would be good to add blackout shades. Overall I’d highly recommend this house.

Step in, relax, enjoy!

Booked this property for a couple's getaway. Loved the idea of being able to walk into town and enjoy a few adult beverages without worry of driving afterward. Walking also helped to burn a few of the many delicious calories we consumed at Staymakers! Everything at this property was perfect. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee, to the bottle of wine that was waiting for us, snacks, towels/robes/slippers for the hot tub, all the little things you might have forgotten are already here. Beds are comfortable, everything is spotless, there's nothing not to like here. Perfect place for a couple or a small group. Immediately comfortable and welcoming throughout. We will return when time and opportunity permit!

Close to everything

We went to a concert at the Acorn Theater & it was so nice just to be able to walk from the house. The cottage is darling. Super clean with all the amenities. Hot tub was nice too. I’d definitely stay there again.

Stay was great!

The house was cute, clean, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Only thing was that we didn’t know if we could check in early until the day of our arrival, and we misread the listing and thought there were 3 beds (when there are 2 beds and an air mattress). All was great and we would stay again.

Wonderful house and location!

Been to New Buffalo many times over the years but first time in Three Oaks. This house was absolutely adorable and the host was responsive and helpful. We used the hot tub in the evening and with all the light off it was so dark you could see a beautiful night sky. The beds were so comfortable (I have a difficult time sleeping when not in my own bed) and I even asked about the bedding because it was so nice! I would highly recommend this property. It was a little tight squeeze for me and my 3 teens, but with one on the couch and two in the guest bedroom, I still had my own bed ;) It’s also a few blocks from the downtown shopping area (we drove but you could walk)… the little shops were adorable and everyone was so nice. I would definitely stay here again!!

Great VRBO!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was so nicely decorated and cozy! There were so many nice amenities included! The linens and beds were comfortable and kitchen was great with everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus that we really enjoyed! It was so nice also to bein walking distance to all the town has to offer. This was a 4 women little girls trip and we all said we'd come back here again!! Thanks so much to the hosts for such a great place!!!!

We stayed at this cottage with our 2 young children for a wedding at Journeyman! It was the perfect place! Cozy, warm, inviting, & super clean! 5 min walk to the distillery! Would highly recommend!

Great time at Sycamore Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at Sycamore Cottage so much! The house was just as was in the pictures. Very clean and comfortable. The owners have put so much thought into the extras at the house. The hot tub was great. We loved walking the short distance to the different restaurants and sweet shops in Three Oaks. It is a beautiful town. New Buffalo is a short drive with lovely beaches and other restaurant options. Such a great time and would definitely return back!

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at this property and we once again found it to be extremely cozy and comfortable. Perfect size home for a group of 3-4 adults or a small family. Ideal location that is easily walkable to downtown Three Oaks and the Journeyman Distillery. The owner/host is always responsive and pleasant to interact with. Would definitely consider booking again if we were to return to the area.

Perfection!

This spotless, beautiful house was the perfect place for two of us to stay during a family gathering. Clearly the hosts have carefully thought of everything, from robes to coffee to wine to snacks on the dining room table. Furnishings are lovely and comfortable. We could not have been happier. Great Relaxing in Three Oaks with Hot tub!

We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful little home in the quiet town of Three Oaks. The website listing and details were spot on. We really appreciated the comfy towels, robes and the attention to detail throughout the home. The snacks were a great addition! We loved the hot tub! The grill was just the right size with extra propane available. The hot tub is huge and we felt secluded even with homes nearby. Washer and dryer were handy and the beds were very comfortable— loved the linens, comforter, etc. No detail was omitted! Thanks for the slippers! Lots of dishes, utensils and grilling tools. While some places/stores were closed Monday, we enjoyed strolling through the town. Really loved the hot tub! A park is in walking distance and the entire area is walkable. Good communication from the host and easy checkout. Thanks for everything, Ivan! Would love to come back!

Anniversary & Wedding

This place is absolutely ideal - we had a wedding at Journeyman Distillery and it was 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is very quaint with amazing restaurants within walking distance. The house itself is ideal - very well equipped - and the hosts go above and beyond to supply you with anything you might need - down to fresh roasted coffee beans and a bottle of wine.

Great stay in Three Oaks

We had a great stay in Three Oaks. This home was perfect for our weekend away. We were easily able to navigate to Lake Michigan and near by wineries and towns. The home was well stocked and we were able to cook at home. It was quiet and a short walk into the Main Street of town. We found Three Oaks really delightful. This place is great for a quiet weekend away.
