Fantastic Views in east Boulder and Friendly Resident Owners

Our lovely pet free, no stairs, 1200 sf, Fully licensed (Boulder County STR-22-0017), garden level apartment located on the East side of Boulder has spectacular views of Boulder and the Rocky Mountain Continental divide. Our totally separate apartment (not shared with anyone) has an open dining, living and full kitchen that bring the outdoors in, are a compliment to the large bedrooms with one king and two twin beds. No stairs at the entry, a one level layout and wide doorways lend itself to being wheelchair accessible, but counter/sink heights are not ADA compliant. It is totally private with its own entrance, off street parking, heating, AC system, Wifi, full size laundry, BBQ, outside table/chairs with view of Boulder and the Rockies.

We have lived in Colorado most of our lives and are very willing to share with you information on points of interest in and around Boulder and Colorado. We are avid hikers, down-hill and skiers and cyclists. Boulder City has E Bikes for rent to use on it 300 miles (75 miles off road) of bicycle lanes and multi-use paths are available to enjoy. Walking the foothills and prairie opens views to birds, evergreen trees or rock climbers.

CU Boulder Parents weekend
We had a wonderful stay visiting our daughter at CU for Parents weekend! Carol and Reeds place was the perfect spot and so cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Cozy and inviting ground level unit. Perfect place for when we were setting up our kid at CU. Bedrooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Kitchen is well equiped to make quick meals, though we typically only made breakfast and ate out rest of the time. Bathroom is modern and clean. Diverting water to the showerhead was a test, and later found instructions on how to do it in the manual ! So read it ! Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Short walk/jog to centennial path/bobolink trailhead. Forgot keys in the unit at checkout but the owner was kind enough to mail them to my home. Highly recommended.

A Blast From The Past
We were in Boulder to retrace our steps to where our parents ashes were spread, and to revisit Lafayette where our Grandpa lived. Bill Moon was the Mayor and the Butcher of Lafayette for many years! The location of this VRBO was perfect to get to the places we needed to go!

A piece of paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. What luck to have found such an amazing spot. Reed and Carol were so helpful and friendly, and provided everything possible to make our stay wonderful. The apartment was so clean and spacious. It had everything we could possibly need, from kitchen supplies, condiments, bath towels and towel bars!, games, puzzles, blankets. The landscaping was beautiful and the fish pond was a beautiful little meditative oasis. The view from the front porch of the mountains was stunning. Location was perfect, as it took under 10 minutes to get anywhere. Amazing. A slow paced area where no one is rushing. People truly enjoy what Boulder has to offer and we did too. Highly recommend.

Great location for Colorado Adventures
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in town to cheer on our Brewers in Denver but wanted to do some sightseeing too. Trails and popular destinations were all relatively close. The apartment was quiet, cool and gave us the ability to prepare our own meals (including grilling out). We would definitely stay here again. Only wish we could have met the property owners as they seemed so awesome in their communications. Too bad they were away during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very pleasant VRBO. The apartment is very clean and roomy. The hosts think of every detail: the kitchen is well stocked, there are games and puzzles for kids, there are USB chargers, etc. It is 10 minutes from downtown Boulder. If we need a place to stay in Boulder, we will definitely stay here again!

We are actively engaged with a combined family (5 children, 5 grand children, 5great grandchildren), friends, bicycling, downhill & backcountry skiing, hiking, chorale singing, dancing, traveling...…and life in general. We are both graduates of the University of Colorado in Boulder.

We designed our house and included an apartment for our parents to live in when they needed assisted living.

We are warm and friendly and have lived in Boulder for 45 years and have a wealth of information about Boulder and Colorado that we are more than willing to share with you. Having three loaner bikes for those who enjoy the wind in their hair is indeed serendipitous.
