Upscale house on the sea on island of Korcula, Croatia
AdriaticHome offers a comfortable three-bedroom vacation home.
Surrounded by gardens directly on the Adriatic sea. The 135-sq metre, two-and-a-half bath home sleeps six and is located directly on the sea in Tri Zala (three bays), three kilometers west of Korcula’s old town. From a quiet road, steps lead to the yellow stucco and stone home. You enter the main floor into the kitchen; facing the sea to the front are a living room and bedroom. Outside a 35-square metre terrace offers a panoramic view of the ocean and gardens
Upstairs are another two bedrooms (one with single beds; the other with double bed) with parquet wood floors and a second full bathroom. The lower level is another large living room area with a small kitchen and toilet and another terrace in front. Private stairs from this level lead directly to the Adriatic.
We have recently added a garden gazebo, where you can relax in the shade near the sea.

We had a lovely time at this home on Korcula. The sea view is stunning and the sound of the lapping waves mesmerizing. When we weren’t looking meditatively seaward, doing yoga, or reading on one of the ample verandas, this location allowed us to drive easily to Old Korcula Town and explore the island. Adam provided helpful recommendations annd responded promptly to questions. Our local host, Tereza, was very helpful and responsive.
Das Haus und der Meerblick sind fantastisch. Ein Schnorchelparadies für die Kids. Das Meer ist türkisblaue und klar!! Super Kommunikation und Tereza ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend.
What a beautiful and relaxing place! We traveled with the family (6 adults and 1 baby). The house was big and comfortable enough for all of us. The location is absolutely stunning with the balcony facing the water and the sunset. The house is very well equipped and very clean. It is secluded enough but a short ride away from Korcula town and supermarkets. We keep very fond memories!

Second Fantastic Stay!
This is our second stay at Adriatic Home and it is a magical place. The home itself is beautiful, creative, bright, and set at a picture-perfect location looking over the sea. We were there with our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and another couple. The desks are stunning, and we spent most of our time there. The space is large, and there was enough room for all of us with the lovely separate living space below the main house, for early morning/late evening reading, writing, game-playing, and guitar playing. Korcula-opoly, a handmade game at the house based on the island, was a real favorite for our family. We snorkelled in the crystal clear water and found star fish, sea cucumbers, colorful coral, and many fish in the healthy ecosystem off the dock. The house is clean and convenient to old Korcula Town. I highly recommend Adriatic Home. We hope to return.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Location!
The house was clean and lovely, with beautiful views of the Adriatic from all three bedrooms. The thoughtfully terraced outdoor and indoor spaces provide private options for quiet sunny reading overlooking the ocean, or for peaceful breakfasts in the shaded gazebo near the water. Wifi, a clean open kitchen and an outside shower head for rinsing off after swimming, were welcomed amenities.
Our local host was very accommodating. She sent her daughter to great us upon our arrival, then came to check in with us after she arrived home from work later in the evening. She speaks English well and offered suggestions for restaurants and activities in Korcula city.
Although late September is near the end of tourist season and a quieter time to be in Korcula, shops and restaurants in the city were still open and the crystal clear water was still warm enough for swimming. We even swam to the small offshore island and found a charming, newly placed Geocache.
A car would be recommended, as it is a few kilometers to the old city and market. A perfect place to stay on our visit to Korcula!

Very nice home in magical place
This is a very nice house in a magical place. It is right on the water with private access for swimming and snorkelling. The water is warm and crystal clear. Even in July it was very quiet. The views from the terrace are beautiful, especially at sunset. The house itself is clean and well equipped and the air conditioning is efficient. Communication before and during our stay was clear and responsive. The local host, Tereza, is very nice and speaks good English. It is a short drive to Korcula town and the local supermarket. We arrived at night without precise GPS directions. Tereza was great at giving directions but it is a good idea to have the precise location on your phone or sat nav in advance. Overall we were delighted with every aspect of our stay.

Splendid!
A beautiful, well-designed house that takes full advantage of its choice location on the water. Views of the Adriatic and the Pelješac peninsula beckon from all of the bedrooms, the patios on the main floor and lower loggia, and the gazebo closer to the water. The gorgeous medieval city of Korcula, with its (former) cathedral, its walls and towers, and its clever fish-skeleton layout, is a close drive or bicycle ride away, as are elevated inland villages, such as Žrnovo. We hiked some of the island's many rocky trails, enjoyed some restaurants and bakeries (in March, the off-season, most businesses were closed), and read books from the owner's extensive library of novels and histories. Clean, with new wiring and wifi, the house is perfect for a stay on this remarkable island. I don't know why Marco Polo ever left Korcula; we certainly didn't want to!

What makes this property unique
The house is rented in its entirety and no one else will be there during your stay. Although some islanders rent houses directly on the water, most subdivide the space inside.
