Wonderful

The house is lovely, Emmanuelle a caring and attentive host. We were 5 and as each bedroom has its own bathroom we did not step on each. Close to town, Sarlat just magnificent, we loved everything and enjoyed every minute, even with not too perfect weather!

Séjour très agréable

Notre hôtesse a été d’une extrême gentillesse et son sourire toujours présent. Ses recommandations ont été de très bons conseils et nous ont permis de découvrir au mieux la région. Je recommande cet endroit et cette jolie maison ainsi que son jardin. N’y allez pas COUREZ-Y !

Sarlat holiday

Lovely house with plenty space for 6 adults. Very clean and well equipped. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment - we did buy 6 wine glasses to use while we were there as the ones supplied seemed a bit small. All the equipment worked well and we had no problems at all. Good pool for cooling off in during the very hot weather and plenty garden space for playing games or for finding your own quiet spot. Comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. The air conditioning made life so much more comfortable when things became too hot for us outside. The house manager was very efficient and helpful and quickly replied to any queries. The walk to the boulangerie takes about 20 minutes - it's a pleasant walk although the hill on the way back is a bit steep. Sarlat markets are very busy during the holiday period, we found the market a Domme to be a more pleasant and less hectic experience. Plenty to see and do in Sarlat and surrounding area. Food is delicious everywhere. Thoroughly recommend this place and have no hesitation awarding 5 stars.

La villa est très agréable, au calme et idéalement située pour visiter la Dordogne. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Emmanuelle, et avons passé d'excellentes vacances !

Sarlat Review

Very happy with the Villa and Pool, both of a high standard. Emmanuel was very helpful and friendly, allowed us to check-in an hour early and took us around the Villa explaining how things worked and gave us lots of local knowledge re supermarkets, restaurants etc. She was always on hand if anything was needed.

belle villa à Sarlat

Très beau gîte, spacieux et bien équipé (SdB dans toutes les chambres). Grande piscine chauffée et beau jardin. Le tout à 15' à pieds du coeur de Sarlat. Que dire de plus? Que Fred et Emmanuelle, les hôtes, sont extrêmement sympathiques... sans conteste une très bonne adresse.

Très belle location , excellent séjour

Une maison spacieuse et au calme, dotée d'une très grande piscine qui a ravi toute la famille. La communication avec la gérante était très aisée (merci encore pour les quelques facilités d'entrée/sortie). Je recommande.

Wonderful Apartment short walk to downtown with free parking

Emmanuelle was a wonderful host. She met us at the arranged time and gave us wonderful information about Sarlat. It was a fantastic apartment and we could drive down the hill to free parking and walk to downtime in 5 minutes. The private pool was perfect and even heated! Would recommend this to anyone for a visit to the Dordogne. Wonderful sites abound to explore.

Great location in Sarlat-la-Canéda

This was an excellent home base for sight seeing in and around Sarlat-la-Canéda. We were very comfortable even with the heat wave. The pool was used daily for cooling off and the AC was great to have. The accommodation was as advertised, and the kitchen had everything needed. Emmanuelle was prompt in responding to queries and had many recommendations for local activities. Enjoyed our stay!

Topissime !

Superbe villa, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et très confortable. On y est comme chez soi car il ne manque absolument rien. La situation est exceptionnelle, à deux pas du centre de Sarlat et malgré tout au calme. Très joli jardin avec piscine dans un environnement arboré. Emmanuelle, la propriétaire, est adorable, très chaleureuse et à l'écoute elle est soucieuse du moindre détail afin que notre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. On ne rêve que d'une chose : revenir !

A great house in a perfect location

Emmanuelle was a gracious host with many helpful hints. She gave us restaurant recommendations, sights to see, and information on one of the best farmers markets we have ever experienced in Sarlat. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children and the house accommodated us easily. It had all the amenities one needs but the highlight was the pool for our granddaughters. After a day of sightseeing they loved getting in the pool to work off some energy. It was a wonderful stay and we would all highly recommend it. Thank you Emmanuelle.

Wonderful place to stay in Sarlat

We had an extremely enjoyable stay of several weeks in “Les Lauriers”, and would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Sarlat. Emmanuelle is a wonderful and welcoming host, always ready to help with any questions we had. Her list of suggested restaurants, places to visit, and maps of hikes was extremely useful; we consulted it almost every day. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The Wi-Fi connection is good everywhere in the house, including by the pool. We were able to enjoy the pool frequently, despite the cool weather, since it is heated. The location of the house is very convenient – a 15-20 minute walk to the center of the medieval city of Sarlat, and a great base to explore the beautiful region. Numerous chateaux, cathedrals, beautiful villages, and caves are within a half-hour drive of Sarlat, as well as opportunities to canoe, kayak, hike and bike. An ideal place for a lovely vacation!

très belle location

très belle location très bien aménagée, très moderne. tout est fourni (draps, serviettes de toilette..) . La piscine est superbe . la propriétaire est vraiment charmante et très disponible. Très bien située , proche de Sarlat (en voiture, pas à pied) et de plein lieux touristiques tous plus beaux les uns que les autres.

Excellent séjour - Villa des lauriers

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille, 6 personnes : 4 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âges. La maison est très spacieuse, 3 très belles chambres, maison moderne , propreté irréprochable, bien fourni, il n'y manque absolument rien. Le domaine se trouve à 5 min du centre de Sarlat en voiture. La région est superbe et Sarlat est à courte distance de très nombreux sites, châteaux médiévaux, petits villages etc...Nous n'avons pas pu en faire le tour en 1 semaine. Nous reviendrons très certainement prochainement aux Maseliades . Allez y, l'accueil y est excellent.
