About this property

Glamping on 116 Acre Farm- Happy Camper

Step back in time and stay in the 1954 Canned Ham- Happy Camper at Grandview Camp. Happy is an amazing glamping space on a 116-acre farm tucked away on the Cumberland Plateau in Grandview Tennessee. You know you are somewhere special as you drive in the private driveway meandering through the woods as the property opens up to a private mountain dream.

This vintage camper with electric hook up has all the amenities, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, electric kettle, microwave (upon request), grill, fire pit, potty tent (composting bags provided), outdoor shower (solar bag provided), outdoor wood fired tub (coming soon), rain catchment system for water (2 gallons drinking water provided and more as needed). HUGE covered deck area. The bed is a small full and the table also lays out to make a twin size bed. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING AND TOWELS.

Happy sits at the top of the natural spring fed pond, the back deck gives a perfect view. When you book happy you also have access to the entire farm. Enjoy 1.5 miles of trails, fishing in the pond, yard games (giant jenga is a crowd favorite). Meet Herbert the pig among other farm animals. Not to mention all the amazing activities within an hour drive. Many guests never leave the farm for the weekend but if you want to there is plenty to do and all listed in the book you'll find in the camper.

Ask about friday night lasagna and breakfast in bed options as well as painting with Herbert, not always available but if Amy is home, arrangements can be made.

Magical
We entered the gate to the beautiful property and we were immediately greeted by sweet Ritzie, the sheepdog. We had an amazing time! The night sky was breathtaking to say the least. Amy was very pleasant to work with and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible!
This property is wildly undersold. The farm and animals are so amazing and I'm not sure where to even start. From gorgeous hiking trails to the hospitality, this is now a place I'll be coming back to as much as possible. The farm is huge (116 acres) but Amy's heart is way bigger, and it shows. I needed a couple days to unplug and love on some friendly animals and this was it. They have several rental spots depending on your level of need for "modern" conveniences, but if you're like me and love camping and don't expect certain comforts, but want something nicer than a tent, the happy camper was perfect and above my expectations. If you need a running toilet, sink, and what thread count the sheets are... this isn't for you. If you want a safe place to disconnect and have a sleeping bag and can run a camping stove- this is for you. Even if you want it but not sure... I'm positive Amy would help you out. In summary, I woke up, hugged a pig, pet a donkey, then hiked a beautiful trail in the woods for a couple hours then came back to a wood fired sauna on a creek next to a spring fed pond. If that's what you want, book it.

Amy was a fantastic hostess! We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Happy Camper. Loved meeting the pooches, the pig and the turkey. The property is gorgeous and a few hundred yards from a river. We could here the toads croaking at night and the locusts, woke up to birds tweeting.

Just perfect!!
We had a great time!! My husband and I slept in the vintage Winnebago, Winnie- Jean- Bago. The accommodations were just what you’d expect. She was precious and wore her age well. Amy was the best hostess! We didn’t get to meet her, but she was readily available by text checking on us and offering us pointers. All the other guests were very friendly. We especially loved the tree swing near the tiny home. This place is a MUST if traveling through Tennessee!

Happy = Love
Book it!! You will be so happy with your stay here at Lemon Lane Farms. The property is beautiful and full of animals and nature and love. Amy has thought of everything, the attention to details was so charming and perfection. We enjoyed every minute of it. The little camper easily sleeps 2 adults, bring your blankets and pillows but also know there is a space heater and fan to further make your stay comfortable. The outdoor potty is very clean. Close by hikes and waterfalls are fantastic but also hiking on the property is beautiful. Get back to nature and unwind or head into town a close drive away for a bite and shopping. Don't miss out on the fresh eggs too! Thank you for a wonderful weekend adventure for me and my daughter!

Perfect weekend getaway!
If you love animals, waking up to the birds chirping, and a beautiful view of so much land this is perfect for you. It was my fiancée’s birthday, and we stayed in Happy. We laughed so hard at ourselves, and enjoyed the porch swing on the deck! There was a small space heater if it go too cold, and a fan if it got too hot!! Amy was the absolute sweetest and we LOVED meeting all the animals. Diego has our hearts forever, so we will have to go back!! Amy even supplies a binder with nearby stores, restaurants, and fun things to do if you’re wanting to adventure out, as well as games, books, and of course fun loving animals, if you’re just wanting to unplug and stay on the farm. We loved our stay so much. Highly recommend booking with Amy!!
