Welcome to our relaxing Cape Coddages I 204 condo. A Bright and Beachy two-floor 2 bedroom 2.5 bath Oceanfront Condo located on the second and third floor of the centrally located Cape Coddages building in the desirable family town of Surfside Beach. Our unit features a fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and living room. Also 2 Roku Smart TVs, high speed WIFI, in-unit Washer and Dryer, central AC, and Oceanfront Balcony with seating. We also provide a storage shed equipped with beach chairs, beach mats, and umbrellas, perfect for the guests who are flying in.

The Cape Coddages complex boasts a great pool, lounge, and picnic area with direct access to the beach. Parking is limited to 2 spots (1 assigned, 1 guest) and there is no elevator. There is also no pets, smoking, or trailers allowed.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the town of Surfside Beach has lifeguards on duty at multiple locations, including the 6th Ave North beach right near our building. This is a great added benefit for families with children.

Surfside Beach is in the family friendly section of the south Myrtle Beach Grand Strand. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from the Boardwalk, and 10 minutes from the seafood paradise of Murrells Inlet's Marsh Walk, a half-mile boardwalk featuring close to 10 restaurants overlooking the inlet. The location is also great for local attractions like Broadway at the Beach, Brookgreen Gardens, Minor League team Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Huntington Beach State Park, Top Rated Golf Courses, and many watersport and fishing activities. Charleston SC is also a 1.5 hour drive perfect for a quick day trip.

Cape Coddages 204 is also a short drive, bike ride, or walk in-between the restaurants, bars, outdoor music, and activities of the Surfside Pier a couple streets to the south and Garden City Pier about 2 miles to the south.

The bright and open kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, KEURIG, coffee machine, toaster, and comes stocked with all necessary cookware, plates, cups, and utensils. The kitchen has seating for 3-4 at the bar along with a table for dining. A stacked washer and dryer is also in unit in the hallway.

The Master Bedroom overlooks the beach with a lot of natural sunlight. It has a king-sized bed as well as a twin size daybed, Roku Smart TV, ceiling fan, and en suite bathroom. The second bedroom features one twin bed and one twin-over-twin bunk bed. Both bedrooms will have all new beach-themed bedding and linens.

Fresh linens and towels will be provided along with simple bathroom and kitchen starter items as well as a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board in the condo.

The property was awesome! It was clean, stocked up with the basic essentials, had plenty of room, and we loved the beach themed decor. It was nice to be able to go between the beach and the pool. Both were very close to the property. The closet with the beach chairs and sand toys was so helpful. Cute neighborhood with great restaurants less than a mile away. Communication with owner was great. Will definitely be back!

We loved this beautiful vacation condo/home The property and neighbors made us all feel welcomed and SAFE. Location is everything, and we all believe that Surfside beach is one of the “family friendly” areas still left on the “Grand Strand .” Our family has rented and stayed in Cape Cottages for over thirty years, and we will hopefully be back next year. Far Below Expectations
Upon arrival they entire outside flooring was being ripped up and we couldnt even get to out place without getting sticky tar on our shoes and clothes. The unit itself was not much better. The floor in the kitchen was very crooked, the rugs were filthy, and everything was 1 second away from falling apart. The bunkbed in the kids room was unsafe for someone to sleep in the top bunk. The host was nice, but this place needs serious TLC. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay here again.

Great Beachfront Condo
We had the best stay at Kyle’s condo. Being beachfront was great having to only go a few steps to get on the beach. The close proximity to all the restaurants in Surfside was also a bonus. The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The balcony was large and awesome to sit on especially during sunrise. This condo being 2 floors made it feel so much bigger than some of the ones we have stayed in the past so we will be back!

Yes its Oceanfront but . . .
As soon as we walked in the door there was a terrible rotten wood, mildew, and rotten fish smell. It was overwhelming so I texted the owner. He did send someone from the cleaning team to check it out and they found something under the sink area that they removed in a trash bag stating sometimes water seeps behind the sink. They were nice and gave us a bottle of spray alcohol and sanitizer to use. The smell was so bad we took all of our belongings upstairs and had to leave. We were gone about an hour and a half and the owner texted me to ask if the smell had cleared up. I told him it had aired out somewhat but was still not good. And that was day one and is the last we heard from him our entire week there. In the downstairs bathroom sink and the primary bathroom sink I found hairs that were not ours. Also in the primary bathroom shower there was someone's bar of soap unwrapped and left behind. I question whether this place was cleaned at all before our arrival. I believe it was but not very well. The floors in the living room area and primary bedroom were not level. The smell lasted our entire stay. We were able to use the balcony and the upstairs but mostly had to stay out of the living room and kitchen area due to the smell. Due to the lack of cleanliness I would not use any of the dishes or utensils. The storage closet had several chairs and umbrellas that were broken. I would not recommend this condo to family or friends. But we love Surfside Beach.

This is an awesome place. Right on the beach within walking distance to restaurants. Very quiet and great view. Love listening to ocean going to sleep. Balcony was under repair but host offered a full refund if we decided to cancel or partial if we kept the booking. I have been coming down here for 5 years with 4 sisters and hadn't found the right place. yet. Looking forward to enjoying the balcony next year. A definite plus, multiple beach chairs and beach towels and beach games.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was a great setup for our family and two small children. The kitchen is fully stocked if you feel like cooking and the location is great. View is beautiful as we were right on the beach. Lights and fans are upgraded and dimmable. Linens and towels are provided. There are chairs and toys in the storage shed if you don’t have your own. Close to the beach and a pool if you don’t feel like getting sandy. All around it was perfect! We will definitely be renting from Kyle again!

Wonderful but no balcony
Excellent condo. However, we rented this property specifically for ocean front and having a balcony to sit on in the mornings and evenings and we weren’t able to do this due to the balcony being closed off and boarded up due to construction of the front of the building. Other than that, great place to stay. Kyle the owner is excellent to work with. He did let us know about the balcony two days before our scheduled stay and has offered a partial refund. The condo is very clean and quiet. Location of the condo is awesome! Quiet, yet close to everything. Fully stocked kitchen, as far as, if you want to cook. Washer and dryer are very small but both work great. Linens are provided for both bathrooms and beds. Blankets are provided also if you get chilly. The AC works great. Love all recessed lighting throughout and they are all dimmable. Overall, excellent stay but having no balcony did suck. We would stay here again if the balcony is fixed.

Nice Condo with a Great location and beautiful view.
Nice condo, clean, roomy and everything you need is all there. Close to all stores, shops, restaurants and Murells Inlet. Beautiful beach literally 100 steps from the door.. Even though we brought our own chairs and beach towels. Beach chairs, umbrellas, corn hole, beach toys and even towels are all included. Our host was a great communicator. 4.5 ☆ out of 5.

Overall the property was great but could be updated. Had to contact the owner while we were there and he was very nice and quick to respond. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.
