This impressive three bedroom property in the Yorkshire Dales is able to sleep up to six people.
This stone-built detached period cottage is located at the end of a secluded, grassy lane in the lovely hamlet of Newhouses. This attractive property boasts many original features including beamed ceilings, flagged floors and original slate shelves in the kitchen. The living room offers guests a multi-fuel stove whilst there is an attractive garden around three sides of the cottage and off road parking for a maximum of two cars. The property also offers excellent views across one of the three peaks, Pen-y-Ghent. With three bedrooms able to sleep six people, this is a wonderful home from home whether you're travelling with family or friends.
Amenities: Economy 7 central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer (in barn in garden). Smart TV, DVD, radio. Broadband/ Wifi. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available. Storage for bikes in separate barn by arrangement. Off road parking for max. 2 cars on a raised area above the level of the lane. Delightful cottage garden to three sides with bench seating, BBQ and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 6 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: No hen/stag or similar. Note: The lane, which is below the level of the house, is a natural drainage outlet during heavy rain and occasionally fills during stormy weather. Note: Access road to the property is bumpy and uneven, please take care. Note: Access road may not be suitable for very low slung vehicles such as sports cars.

The famous Settle to Carlisle Railway passes through the village and crosses the Ribblehead viaduct - completed in 1870. The nearby market town of Settle is home to a selection of pubs and restaurants whilst the market square features a historic three-storey building with shops on two levels and houses above. The Victoria Hall serves as a cinema on Fridays and Saturdays and offers other activities such as folk nights throughout the year. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are within easy reach, as are the towns of Skipton and Malham.
