If staying there be aware that there is no cell service, internet, or TV. It was OK with us because we were at a family reunion at the home of my niece where all that was available.
The home was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and extra toiletries. It was larger than expected. Loved the rustic feel. Internet would have nice but we survived.
Beautiful location, Fantastic cabin and decor! Peaceful setting with everything you might need. I recommend staying here 100%, the entire family had a blast.
Fabulous stay in this secluded cabin. We loved drinking coffee on the porch, watching the birds, and listening to the creek. Easy to get into town for food and out to Mt Ranier for hiking. Agree with other reviews-not “waterfront” since you can’t see or get to the creek, but otherwise listing was accurate and cabin was perfect. Already planning our next stay here.
Great place. Loved the loft room and general open layout. Very clean and well kept. Wonderful forest areas (we watched for Bigfoot, but didn't see him) Very limited mobile phone service, poor land line phone service, and no internet connection make it difficult to communicate with others on your trip, so plan ahead and be prepared to leave the property to make calls or get connected. Otherwise it was a wonderful trip. We were there in time to collect wild blackberries which were all around the property - Yum!
We had such a lovely time here! This log cabin home is so beautiful and sits among the trees making it a very peaceful spot to relax and unwind. We cooked quite a bit and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. The jacuzzi tub was super relaxing! Everything was sparkling clean, quiet, and very good directions and communication. It’s the perfect spot if you are looking to stay put and relax or also as a great home base for adventures in the area. We will be back!
We had three generations here while we stayed in town for my sister’s wedding. The home was easy to find, well equipped in the kitchen, and pretty child proof for our daughter. The biggest hurdle for us is that we were not aware of the home not having WiFi or cell service. That made it very difficult for us to coordinate logistics throughout the wedding weekend. Other people were able to call us using the landline, but we found ourselves driving back into town just to check in on things. I didn’t see that information in the listing. If you’re looking for an off-the-grid getaway though, this home was beautiful and we enjoyed everything else about it! The town is cute too, and we followed and agreed with the restaurant recommendations given! Mill town is new and fun also!
Everything you need to find the calm serenity you seek
We've stayed here every summer for years and it always delivers. Excellent for active families looking for a quiet place to unplug, relax and sit around the dining room table for a game of Scrabble or whatever your board-game equivalent is. If your family requires a large flat screen TV or high-speed wi-fi where everyone can plug in and tune out, you won't find that here. However, you will find a beautiful, modernly rustic-feel, very clean cabin, plentifully stocked, with an A-frame layout that invites families to come together for food, laughs, and fun. Though it's just off the highway, it's surprisingly very quiet, and peaceful, tucked behind a big wall of evergreens. Kids can freely explore the large lot with no direct next-door neighbors, other than the deer, that often stop by. Just 100 yards or so on the other side of the highway you'll find an excellent bend in the Tilton River that makes for a fun family swimming hole, fishing spot or catching crawdads. We'll be back next year!!!
We rented the Tilton Woods cabin to enjoy an annual family gathering in Morton. The cabin was perfectly located, very clean and comfortable, and checked all the boxes for our basic needs. We will seek to stay here again.
We knew in advance that there is no internet service and spotty cell phone service. We did find that if we stood near the woodpile that we could make calls and send text messages.
The landscaping was a bit overgrown, but the property manager or housekeeper left a note explaining the situation. Thank you for the communication.
A great time was had by all and we appreciate you sharing your wonderful property!
What a wonderful place to stay! The cabin is represented well in the photos that are provided on the listing. Super clean and well kept, inside and out. Rustic and roomy, we slept six adults comfortably- with space for more. The kitchen is exactly as described- a chef’s kitchen! Everything you might need is there. Large covered patio for enjoyment outside-rain or shine. If you truly want to get away then this is the spot for you. We had a wonderful time and thank you for the awesome accommodations.
We stayed at this property for Christmas, wanted to have a white Christmas, and we sure did! This property wa beautiful, more than we were expecting!! Beautiful log cabin!!!
We are new to VRBO and we were extreme happy with the experience , cabin and host

We had a lovely time at this cabin. We did wish we were able to do some exploring on the property, but besides the yard, it's pretty much impossible to venture out due to the growth of prickly bushes and the like. The cabin itself was spacious enough for the 7 of us on the trip (myself, spouse, 2 young kids, my parents, and my sister).
Property was very clean and is my #1 priority. We used the house for sleeping and breakfast only and had all the amenities we needed. Washer/dryer was very helpful. Queen beds were very firm; not necessarily a negative for all but would have been an issue for my husband & I had we stayed more than 2 nights. Will book again if we are back in the area.
It was a wonderful experience. The place was clean and very well put together. Only complaint i have is because of how hot it was outside, the place has no AC. So it was extremely hot and muggy in the upstairs portion of the house. It was difficult to sleep in.
Tilton woods cabin was a great spot to unplug and unwind.
As the description states there is no cell service (we have verizon) and one TV with a VHS/DVD player but no satellite/ cable/ local reception. Also the TV is on the older side so dont plan to hook your laptop up to it.
The cabin was clean and inviting and the kitchen had just about everything you might need. The local grocery store in Morton is only 7 minutes away and as long as your needs aren't too extravagant they should be able to help you out.
The property is located right between Mount Saint Helen's and Mount Ranier so there is plenty to do outdoors and the Centralia outlet mall is fairly close by if you're into that kind of thing...
Overall we loved the cabin and would love to stay there again!
We had such a nice stay at Nanette’s cabin. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and there’s so much more space than we were expecting -- still felt so cozy though. This was the perfect spot for our long-weekend getaway and was a nice jumping off point to do some exploring around Rainier. Highly recommend.
This home was perfect for my family! very clean and inviting, and fully stocked. The beds were super comfortable too. Pet friendly as well. Easy drive to all the fishing spots, and places for my kids to get out and enjoy the nearby lakes. Great home if you want to get away from all the noise of the city and no internet which made it a nice relaxing weekend!! hope to come back and stay soon!
This property is absolutely fantastic. Such a beautiful cabin. If you want a place to relax and enjoy the quiet of nature, this is the place.

We built this home with our own two hands and some help from friends as well. It took us five years but the result is very rewarding. We can't spend much time here ourselves so like to have others experience the calming effect of our home.
