This Polesworth cottage has a first floor half tester double bedroom with a reading area and an en-suite shower room, a second floor twin bedroom, a first floor bathroom, a ground floor basin and WC, a kitchen, a utility room and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Gatehouse Croft is a wonderful base for your relaxing holiday.

Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and wood for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and folding bed on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is a pub and social club across the road and some noise may be heard.

Town: The town of Tamworth is a large market town which takes its name from the River Tame which flows through the town, along with the River Anker. Tamworth is home to both Tamworth Castle and the Moat House, two wonderful, historic buildings. The town is also home to the Snowdome, a full-sized indoor ski slope with real-snow and Drayton Manor Theme Park is not far away, providing a fun-filled day out for everyone.

Beautiful cottage
The property was a delight. It was 'olde worlde' but with all the conveiences needed for modern living. The surrounding grounds are lovely and Father Philip, kind and helpful.

Excellent stay
Our Gatehouse stay was delightful. Even though it was rainy and cold while we were there, the house is warm and comfortable. Father Philip is a gracious host and provides great information about the house and surroundings. Lovely stay.
