This end-terrace cottage is located in Rosedale Abbey in North Yorkshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Ghyll Cottage is an end-terrace cottage close to the delightful North Yorkshire village of Rosedale Abbey. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, a single with a pull-out bed and a family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area with a Log Burner (Pictures pending). Outside is a front lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Set in the heart of the North Yorks Moors National Park, Ghyll Cottage is a lovely holiday destination for any family.
Amenities: Electric heaters with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, Smart TV ,selection of books and games. WIFI. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Roadside parking close by. Lawned garden to front with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.25 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Wheelbarrow access path runs at the back of Ghyll Cottage and provides the middle cottage in the terrace with rear access, which the neighbour uses regularly. Note: Owner may take additional small dog with £25 pet charge.

The village is home to the remains of a 12th Century Cistercian Priory - a stone pillar, staircase and sundial are all that remain, which gave the town its unusual name. The village is now largely made up of stone-built cottages clustered around the village green. Packed with local amenities such as shops, tearooms, an art gallery, a glass studio and three old country pubs, there is plenty to do without venturing to nearby Hutton-le-Hole, Ryedale and Kirkbymoorside.
