Our Stay in Charleston
Beautiful neighborhood, plenty of shopping and choices to eat out. The residence was 5 star'ish. We stayed for 3 days but did notice that it had all the amenities to live long term.

Family Trip
Unit was cute and matched description. Great location near lots of shopping/dining. We didn’t move the cars once we arrived. Parking is great. We fit both our vehicles in the 2 allotted spaces. It is an historic home so the stairs to get in are a bit tight but there are handholds. Overall a great stay

Great Location
As many have stated, this was a great location. We were there during a chilly mid-week in January so not a lot of crowds out to impact the noise outside, but we are cityfolk ourselves. The property was large enough for 6 of us to stay comfortably. The listing could have been a bit more plain about this being 1 of 4 units on the property, but we saw no one else and likely had the rowdiest group with 3 kids. The furnace seemed a little touchy, but otherwise the beds were very comfy and we had a great stay. Walked up and down Meeting and King; could be to nearly all of the historic French Quarter/Downtown sights within 15 minutes!

Short but sweet
We were supposed to stay three nights but unfortunately the stomach bug got us before traveling so we delayed our trip. We did get to see things a bit but we only had one night. I will say that it is not very quiet and I definitely used the provided noise machine. The place is special but could use some upgrading here and there. Thank you!

Wonderful house - perfect location
We loved this house. It was so charming and had a lovely historic feel that we were looking for. It was the best location. We were able to walk everywhere. We felt safe and comfortable. There was room for our whole family to have their own space and enough room for our long time Charleston friends to visit us too. Thank you so much :)

Great location in Charleston.
Across the street from 2 great restaurants and a bakery. 1 block from Market Street with more restaurants and shops. Right in the historic district and near the famous market. Lots of stairs. Good HVAC but you can't open the windows. We had the second and third floor unit facing Society Street which had a nice covered porch.

Historic home steps from King Street
My friends and I had a great stay at at this home. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s a short walk to many many things this is your place. The home has lots of historic charm, including lots of stairs so keep that in mind when booking.

Perfect Location Just off King
The apartment is nice with great kitchen, livingroom, and dining area. The covered porch is huge and inviting....there are some unusual elements to the home. Both bathrooms are on the entry level of the home. The two bedrooms upstairs must come downstairs to access their bathroom. The bath for the main bedroom is tiny, tiny, tiny. Stairway to the apartment is very tricky and could lead to a fall. Overall, a 4 star is deserved i think.

The perfect place to explore Charleston
The property was very nice and we loved the finer details and accommodations. The china and dining room was so lovely that we wished we could have stayed longer. Loved the location and the parking. We were close to everything - in fact closer than I thought we would be but still felt very private and secluded. We travelled as a family of adults but I would return with my younger kids or with girls for a girl's trip (it was steps away from shopping). The living room was comfortable and we enjoyed watching some TV at the end of the day and visiting in the "parlor." The host was SO helpful and responsive. We had a lot of questions as my elderly mother was not traveling well and the host helped us have a wonderful and memorable family trip.

Great location. Very easy walk to everything in historic Charleston. Nice that there’s also free parking on site. The host was easy to reach and responsive although we had no reason to ask for assistance as the unit had everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, property, and... parking!
Excellent location, you can walk anywhere downtown that you would want to go to in 15 minutes or less. Off street parking, which is almost unheard of, and extremely appreciated if you want to take a jaunt out of downtown and be able to park stress free on your return. The property is really neat and in great shape for something built in the 1840s. We had family of 5 and plenty of room for downtime, and all of the amenities needed. Property was clean when we got there, check-in was easy, property managers were easy to get in touch with and responsive. I would definitely recommend this location/host.

Great location, great place
Wonderful, quaint apartment. PLENTY of room, which is one of the reasons we chose it. Two levels, 2 bedrooms up, 1 on main. One bathroom is teeny-tiny, the other is average size. Great sitting room, great kitchen, great dining room, great bedrooms - what else do you need?!? Older structure, so don't expect brand new, but we loved it! Very clean, no issues at all.

10/10 location!
Fantastic location right between King St. & Meeting St., arguably the best streets in Charleston for shopping & dining, and a couple blocks south of Marion Square. The unit is a 3rd floor walk-up, with 2 of the 3 bedrooms up a flight of stairs--good to know for less mobile guests. It is just as pictured, with lots of antique decor & charm. It does feel smaller in person though, due to an awkward layout & slanted ceilings in the 2 upstairs bedrooms (both of which are common in the historic homes). 1 of the 2 bathrooms in particular is barely useable due to its very small size, & this comes from a 5 ft. tall, small-boned person. Not a big deal for us--we just all used the other bathroom--but keep in mind for larger groups/people. Management is excellent. A problem arose during our stay, and was fixed immediately while we were at lunch. We did have to buy some things that are typically present in similar properties...kitchen scissors, napkins, dryer sheets, tissues, & a couple cooking spices.

Holiday Stay in Charleston
Very convenient location in historic area of Charleston. Easy walk to a variety of places/sites of interest, but also just a short drive if needed. Harris Teeter grocery store was only 3 blocks away. Having two off-street parking spots was really nice. The home is large with plenty of space. Comfortable sleeping, but requires stairs (external) to access to "1st" level and internal stairway to top level to access two additional bedrooms. Most of the home furniture is "vintage", which adds to the historic experience of Charleston, but isn't always the most comfortable (particularly after 3-4 days). The kitchen was sufficiently stocked, plenty of coffee, but bathroom towels, soaps, etc. could use a refresh. Bathrooms are tight, as you may expect in an 1840s home, but fine overall. Functional, but not luxurious. The large, exterior porch is a nice respite when the weather is good. Porch views are not great given how the area developed and proximity to adjacent homes, but the privacy is actually nice. Overall, a really nice time and very easy trip!

Excellent Stay in 77 Society
Excellent experience with this property. EXCELLENT location, walking distance to everything on your Charleston to-do list. We were only there for a few nights but it was perfect for us. It is an upstairs unit, which was no issue for us, but for some the stairs to the unit plus two bedrooms are upstairs might pose an issue for some. It’s a historic home with all the modern touches. Exactly what we wanted! Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Charleston location!
This property was perfect for our visit! Four of us met in Charleston for a long weekend of sightseeing and mahjongg and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was very clean, the beds were very comfy, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The house is conveniently located so we walked everywhere we wanted to go (museums, restaurants, historical houses, the Battery, etc.). When we return to Charleston we would definitely stay at this lovely house again! The only minor downside was noise at night from the bar across the street (we were there on a very busy weekend!).
