Our immaculate & well cared for vacation home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 open plan living rooms,-one up, one down, 2 large screen TV's, great WiFi, a motorized disco ball with spot lights, wood burning stove. Large flat driveway with plenty of space for 4+ cars and boat or snow mobile trailer parking. Easy access to SR 28.
Our cute, clean and well cared for cabin has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 open plan living rooms,-one up, one down, 2 large screen TV's, excellent WiFi, a motorized disco ball and an outdoor lounge in summer.
Downstairs Configuration: Kitchen, Bar, Living room, Dining area, 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and mirrored closets, Bathroom with walk in shower.
Upstairs- Master King bedroom/ ensuite bathroom is shared with upstairs twin bedroom and living room. Newly remodeled office area with large desk and access to upper deck and filtered lake-views.
Direct TV satellite and Tivo on both flat screen TV’s. Chromecast stick in downstairs TV.
Dining room table with extended leaf has seating for eight+. 2 Bars, indoor and out. Motorized disco ball with spot lights, great stereo speakers.
Weber gas grill. Large 8 person hot tub. In summer, an outdoor dining table and bar is setup on synlawn to the rear of the house which backs up to National Forest service land.
Our check out time is 11am. (Strict 10am for most other homes). Early check in and/or late checkout may be available at the additional rate of $35/hour but this MUST be arranged in advance or the cleaners will be at the house. In peak summer, and on days that we have guests both checking in and checking out, we are unlikely to be able to accommodate early/ late check in/out requests.

My husband & I go to extreme measures and take great pride in providing an immaculately, well cared for house for our guests to enjoy. We seek responsible like minded renters who will treat & enjoy our home like it is your own.
We do not have direct lake access across the street from our house but the nearest public beach is only a half a mile away at Watermans Landing, with its full-service café and"car top" boat launch. Carnelian Bay also has a great 711 convenience store, laundromat, post office and wonderful restaurants such as Garwoods, CB's Bistro and The Old Post Office.
We are located on the main Tahoe transit public bus route (TART) along North Lake Blvd (SR 28) which is served by two TART bus lines (free!): Mainline and 89 which connects to Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Incline Village, and others. The bus stops every half hour approx 100 yards from the property. In peak summer & winter- the free 'Tart Connect' shuttle is available from 6-10pm and can take you to many local establishments. You just need to download the app and request a ride.
Guest access:
The entire house is yours with a few exceptions: under the house, the closet in the master bedroom, and the landing closet (between floor 1 &2)! We keep our house supplies in these areas.
Other things to note:
We are located right across from Lake Tahoe but that also means we are located on the main road (NLB) that rings around the lake. It can get busy in the summer but is not usually bothersome. We fully disclose our location and ask kindly if you stay and review us, please consider awarding us a good rating on our 'location'. While we would love to be located further away from the street, we, unfortunately, cannot move the house. Many guests under rate us ONLY on our ‘location’ which brings down our overall rating. If you have any concerns or questions about our location, please send us a message &/or check our reviews.
Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, we do not have Air Conditioning but there are several fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
While not expected, in the event of unforeseen hot-tub malfunction, guest will be reimbursed $50/night if not usable.
California is prone to wildfires and winter storms. We cannot provide refunds or credits for poor air quality, winter storms, power outages or road closures as these natural weather occurrences and elements are beyond our control. If these are major concerns for your travel, please consider booking closer to your travel date and/or buying trip insurance.
Please inquire with the exact number of guests that will be staying at the house. Any evidence of inaccurate guest count, or if our 'NO smoking’ or ‘NO pet' rule is broken, will result in forfeiture of security deposit on hold.
If you are requesting a booking more than a few months in advance, availability and rates on the calendar may not be adjusted yet, especially for holiday weeks.
