Beautiful lake house.

Had a wonderful time in this beautiful lake house. Lots of room to be together and space to be apart. Perfect sloping yard down to the lake. Lots of birds and wildlife. Nicely furnished and supplied with all the essentials.

Great home. Beautiful location.

We were very pleased on arrival as the home met our expectations and more. Much enjoyed using the pontoon boat, tubing, kayaks, paddle board and grandchildren spent many hours swimming and fishing from the dock.

My family of 11 had a great week at this beautiful house. It was so completely equipped for a large diverse family. Jeff did a great job of training my 3 pontoon captains on the operation. Kitchen was amazing with all kinds of pots and pans.

Beautiful Lake Home

The home is lovely, well-maintained and the location is perfect for enjoying the lake and the nearby Nashville attractions. The home is perfect for a large family with plenty of gathering and sleeping space. We celebrated Thanksgiving with kids and grandkids at the house and truly enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful home and location

The pictures don’t do this house justice. Beautiful clean home with lots of room for a large family. The neighborhood is lovely and it was great being 20-25 minutes from Nashville. The hosts were a pleasure to work with. We would have rented the pontoon boat if it hadn’t had a two day rental minimum. If you happen to be an avid pool player (as I am) it was nice to have a table in the home but the cues do need replacing. We were pleasantly surprised to find 3 kayaks, blow up rafts and other water toys in the garage along with an abundance of life jackets for both kids and adults. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back and rent this home again.

Great House on a Great Lake

The house was exactly as promised in the listing. Great view from several rooms. We spent a lot of time on the porch and the lower level patio....both were very comfortable. The house was stocked well and communication was tremendous. We rented the boat which was very convenient. We had a great time and will likely rent again!

Annual Family get away

Beautiful house on Old Hickory Lake. Very comfortable & welcoming. Not super kid-friendly (we had a 5yr old, two 4yr olds, & a 16 month old), but the littles still found enough to do with each other to keep them happy. We rented the pontoon for a few days and swimming at the sandbar and tubing were highlights for the kids. Just cruising around the lake was a hit with the adults! Proximity to downtown Nashville was a plus, too!

Wonderful Family Trip!

What a house! It exceeded our expectations! The swing from the tree was a hit with the kids (and I enjoyed it too). We rented the boat for a few days and it was wonderful. Great views of the fireworks from the house. Much needed family retreat and came back home energized from the trip. Kayaks and stand up paddle boards were used every day. The water was perfect temperature.

A beautiful home with great views of the lake!

My husband and I and two other couples had a long, friends weekend in this beautiful home. Jeannie was there to meet us when we arrived and was very friendly and accommodating! The house was very well stocked with everything we needed and was very spacious and comfortable! It was a short 20-30 minute Lyft ride into the city, which we did each day, but really enjoyed our time at the house as well! I would highly recommend this home and plan to stay here again if and when we come back to the area!

a memorable family reunion

The house was ideal for our 1 week international family reunion. The common areas were spacious and well appointed and the variety of activities was a very nice bonus . Everyone had a wonderful experience. The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. In fact on arrival we had a couple of questions but they reached out to me by text before I could even call them and instantly resolved our questions. We cannot speak to the boat as we did not use that feature, but otherwise we would very highly recommend this place.

Three retired couples

The property was better than described. Beautiful, clean , all the amenities you could disire. Water front steps from the house with a pontoon available. The house is located in a hilly neighborhood of comparable homes. 30 minute ride to Nashville. Owner Jeff was great to deal with. He got back to us quickly with any questions we had. Worth every penny

Great family reunion

Perfect house to join up with family. We only had four of us, but the house could easily host three times that many. Home was clean and well stocked with all the basics which made grocery shopping easier. One reason we picked this particular house was the availability of a boat in the water ready to go. Owners were very flexible to meet us when we wanted for the rental and we enjoyed using the boat. No mechanical issues at all but the boat is getting a little old cosmetically. (Not a problem) Owner supplied kayaks and floats also. Fun to drive around at dusk and see all the deer out and about having dinner. Had a great time and hope to come back again.

Beautiful home with a view

Sitting on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee in the morning looking out on the lake…watching the kids jump off the dock endlessly into the water…taking in a colorful sunset each evening--there were so many wonderful moments staying at this peaceful house. We were a group of moms and kids that live in Nashville but were looking to relax and spend time together by the water for a few days. The house is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. There are a variety of spaces to gather whether to eat a meal outside, watch a movie with the group or alone time to read a book. The kitchen was great to cook in but we also enjoyed some dinners out at nearby restaurants. The pool table was a big hit with the kids. Next time would definitely rent a boat or paddleboards. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and the master suite shower with its many jets, was an added luxury. Jeannie was so helpful and friendly. She made us feel instantly at home. We hope to return!

Perfect for our extended family get-together

Beautiful house, and stunning views of the lake. Well-furnished, and so much space! And many small touches that set it apart from other properties. We were only there for 3 days - so we didn’t even get to use all of the amenities - but we tried! Meals on the patio and at the huge dining table were easy to prep in the main kitchen. The pontoon, while well-loved, was excellent for our group of 12 and provided hours of boating and tubing entertainment. The paddle-board and kayaks got lots of use too, and EVERYONE took a turn on the swing … from the 14-yo to the 80-yo! Well-kept, quiet neighborhood and maybe it was a fluke - but we often had the lake to ourselves when we were out on the water. Several of us gathered on the patio to watch the barge pass by in the mornings. We also appreciated Jeff mentioning Wades Wakes for jet skis for an afternoon; great rental experience and lots of fun. Highly recommend this property!

Great home but wouldn't recommend renting the boat

The home was extremely nice and clean and roomy with a nice view of the lake. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools, spices, foil, etc. The master bedroom mattress is getting close to needing replaced and jacuzzi tub jets didn't work but still enjoyed the nice deep oversize tub. Owners didn't make renting their boat easy as they needed to meet us in person and couldn't meet us when it was convenient for us. Then the 1st day we were to take boat out, found out we had to wait on a mechanic to check on something so there was a delay in getting out on the water. Then boat had mechanical issues and we waited a 1/2 day not knowing if a mechanic was coming or not as owner didn't keep us informed. Nor did the owners offer a refund. If we were to rent the house again, we would be concern if the house itself was in need of repair, would owners respond quickly or at same lack of urgency? We may take a chance on the house again but will definitely go down to the marina to rent a boat. Lastly, it was only a 20 min drive to Nashville!

Great Getaway

I traveled to this home with 12 other friends for the weekend and we had a great time. This is in fact the third time that we rented the same home (twice previously with a different owner) and would go back in a heartbeat. Located about 20 minutes outside of downtown Nashville it gives a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Still close enough to enjoy all that downtown Nashville has to offer, and we sure did do that. ((sidenote: want to splurge on the best meal you'll ever have? Kayne Prime steakhouse downtown. Its very expensive, but worth every penny)) The views of the lake/river from the property, the dock, the covered patio, etc are just awesome. Nothing is better than jumping off the dock into the water to start your day. The host, Jeannie, was welcoming and made things easy. There were ample plates and cutlery - any necessity you need to get you started. She was easy to get a hold of and made herself available if there as anything we needed throughout our stay. Compared to the previous two reviews, we definitely were not on a family vacation. We were 13 guys celebrating a weekend in Nashville, and we really enjoyed ourselves and there were no complaints. This home could fit any need. Had a great time, I cant wait to come back. The Ming Dynasty boys

Absolutely amazing house. Perfect for our family

Our family stayed at this truly beautiful home in June, 2017. From grandparents to our 3 yr old son - we covered the family tree. The house was spotless clean, the best amenities, and a great entertainer’s kitchen. A house that feels like home... The online pictures and descriptions were great but it was the feel of this freshly updated home that was truly the most comforting and beyond words! From our first steps inside we noticed the furnishings and décor were very warm, new and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable and the living spaces were inviting. The pool table was a big hit! We alternated our breakfasts from the lower covered patio to the upper level screened porch – both offering beautiful lake views. An added bonus was the new washer and dryer that was very useful after fishing, hiking, and boating. Yes, another added bonus was the boat dock. We took full advantage of this waterfront home and added a locally operated pontoon boat rental to our stay. Kudos to the local boat rental folks for all of their kind help. Jeannie was prompt and responsive to my pre-booking questions and a very easy to reach owner. When we arrived, she greeted us and was so nice, accommodating and made us all feel extremely welcome with added tips for great places to visit and dine! Without hesitation, I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Nashville area. Thank you again Jeannie for letting us stay in your exceptional home! We will see you again, soon....

Beautiful Spring Break Location!

It is so difficult to put into words how well this home suited us on our spring break vacation (3/16-3/23/19). We drove from WI and had family visiting us from several locations in waves (IA, MI, FL and Germany), so total throughout the stay the home accommodated 12 people. The beds and bedding were all EXTREMELY comfortable, there were plenty of bathrooms and showers for people to use and there were enough kitchen supplies to serve at least one meal every day and varying in complexity...there was NOTHING that we couldn't find in the kitchen that was needed for our meal! We loved having the fireplace and outdoor area to hang out in. The neighborhood was GORGEOUS. I wished we would've rented a boat to use at the home but it was a bit chilly the week of our stay. Otherwise, the covered dock would've been super convenient!! The views from the home from every window facing the lake are beautiful, especially the kitchen and living room. The views alone did me in. The pool table kept the kids entertained, and we did crash in the main room and watched movies and basketball a couple of the nights. The sun room was PERFECT and my 9-year-old daughter did NOT want to leave the papasan chair in the far left corner! She snuggled up with one of their several throw blankets and knitted, read and talked to her friends. Last thing is the wildlife viewing from both inside and out. We saw a sandhill crane fishing off one of the docks as we sat on the edge of the water. It didn't notice us at all. We also saw woodpeckers and duck couples, and very low-flying turkey vultures showing off. There are also lots of deer that will come out and graze at night in neighboring homes. The neighborhood is beautiful to take a walk in, and safe. I even ran into the neighbor lady to the left who was very sweet. Great place to live and vacation in Mt. Juliet! It is about a 25-30 drive to downtown Nashville. Cheekwood and Belle Meade were about 45 minutes away. Nashville's roads wind quite a bit, otherwise it would be much faster as the actual distance in miles is not much. I absolutely loved our stay and would consider coming back to this home if we don't stay downtown based on the view and care and hospitality by the owners!
