4BR/3B Home w/Covered Porch in Private, Gated Community-Golf,Pool,HotTub&FirePit
3 Minutes to the Golf Course and 1/4 mile to GSMNP boundary! Take your getaway to the next level with ample space and amenities so the whole family has their space for a restful and relaxing stay. Rock the day away on our large covered porch (the reason we bought the property) off the main gathering area with 4 rocking chairs and a picnic table with some restricted mountain views or cozy up with a book on your private deck off the master bedroom or upstairs bedroom (my favorite). Ladies will love our newly restored clawfoot tub in the master bath. Enjoy the mountains but stay connected with high speed internet from Infinity and a huge selection of channels or stream your favorite shows on our 60" ROKU TVs upstairs and downstairs. The kids can game downstairs while the grownups can relax on our new couch and loveseat with built in electric recliners and watch there favorite shows.. Our remodeled kitchen in 2019 comes with granite tops so you can stay in and make your favorite dishes. The new gas grill on our covered porch ensures the grill master will not be affected by bad weather. After dinner, enjoy a soak in our 5 person hot tub or gather by the fire pit and reconnect with family and friends. 2 sofa beds (1 in the loft and 1 in the basement) and 2 Kings and 2 Queens means we can accommodate 10 people in beds.

Just a quick trip over thanksgiving. Place had everything we needed and then some. Great location away from hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but close enough if you wanted to drive there.
Took a vacation w a total of 12, half adults, half children. The house waa plenty big, yard was ample for the younguns, jacuzzi, fire pit, pool very close, very nice golf course, attractions nearby, gatlinburg attractions not a far drive. If you have a large group, and love not being clised in by society, this place may be for you!
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin! We have plenty of room and it was very clean! We saw 3 bears, deer and turkeys! Some family really enjoyed the golf course and pool! We would definitely come back. My daughter left items and Beth so kindly shipped them back!!
This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. Love the location and peacefulness! Plenty of space for our family of 7. Enjoyed the early mornings and evenings rocking on the front porch liatening to the wildlife. Had a couple of bear visits this time and even saw a coyote trotting down the road! Plenty to see and do in surrounding Townsend.
What a beautiful cabin!! The views are breathtaking. Before you buy something check everything they have. This cabin has EVERYTHING, and by everything I mean EVERYTHING you might need. Beds and pillows are very comfy. Lots of towels, big rooms and bathrooms. The firepit was a hit! Paved roads. Stay here!!!
Lovely home tucked in the quiet side of the Smokies. Very clean and well maintained, also stocked with kitchen necessities, towels, blankets, and other needs. The pool and club house has beautiful views and is very well kept.
We saw lots of wild life including deer, turkeys, a wolf, and a momma bear and her cubs (lock car doors, she opened ours). Enjoyed the fire pit and large porch. Communication with owners was great and they were quick to respond to messages and inquiries. We would most definitely recommend this property if you’re looking for a quiet get away, but still close to activities and Great Smoky Mtn National Park!
Everthing especially the outdoor decks were dusty and mildewed. Did not look like it had been cleaned recently. Nice place to stay. The water smelled bad. I don' think there's anything that could be done about that. Would stay again but would like to see it a little cleaner. The property was close to all the attractions making it easy to take in the sights.
We enjoyed the stay after we cleaned up the place.
The house was pretty good, not very clean and didn't look like it had been cleaned from previous guests. We bought cleaning supplies and cleaned up before we felt comfortable. One of the bottom doors was ducked taped and one looked shattered so we never used those doors at all. The outside was full of spider webs and debris so we really couldn't use the decks. Over all it was okay but probably wouldn't rent it again.
House was perfect for my group of 12, with proper space for kids and adults to rest, relax and play. The host was super attentive and very nice about checking in when the weather got bad to ensure my family was safe and we had what we needed. The location was perfect to the things we wanted to do, which is good with 6 kids 10 and under. One thing to note is the house has well water as stated, but if you be prepared for the sulfur smell and taste of the water. It can be an issue if you have never had water like it before. We loved the location and the home. Thank you for the memories!
We got to spend 5 days with our children d grandchildren! We hiked, had fun at Dollywood and came home to chill around the campfire!
The house was perfect for our group! Plenty of room for everyone! We saw turkeys, deer and a bear or two!
We would love to come again! Tganks, Debbie Gleason
We enjoyed our stay. Owners were very easy to work. We did have bugs on the basement floor…but you are in the mountains! We saw bear, turkey, a rabbit and a mom with two baby deers from the porch. Thanks for opening your home to us! We love Laurel Valley!
The home is in a great location and beautiful setting. There was some issues with some kind of centipede that was bad in the basement but we’re on the first floor, but we worked through it. The porch was great for coffee and late night games on the picnic table! Over all the home fit what we needed!
My family and I had a blast! The house was perfect for our group. The large deck is perfect for sitting out and having a drink after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a wonderful time. We choose this as our destination and we were more than pleased! The cabin was beautiful and so much more than we expected! Our trip to pigeon forge was a lifetime memory. Nights at the cabin family time laughing and making memories!

Liked: Check-in, location
The location was great!
Liked location very much. The overall experience was good but there were a few issues.
The tv in living room didn’t work. We had to scavenge cable from other tv to make it work.
Hit tub was moldy with no view.
Towels were minimal for a group of 10 and some were left hanging wet in laundry room for us to finish drying.
The cabin had a funky smell dinething like fish.
We had to burn candle all the time.
There were lots of amenities in the kitchen!
This cabin was in a great location. It was clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. We even had deer in the yard. The sunrise view was amazing. It was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. My family would love to return.
The cabin was nicer than expected! Everything we needed was there, and more! Very cozy, comfy! Fabulous fire pit!!! Suggest adding a hard copy map of the community, and hard copy checkout instructions. We had a great time!!
Overall the house was in good shape. There was several things missing like grilling utensils but overall good. My issues were a lack of information. Every other VRBO I’ve ever stayed at has has a binder/book there when you arrive with information. This didn’t exist here so some thing were just a little more confusing than they needed to be.
BY FAR my biggest complaint with this rental was that there was an air rifle hidden under a bed in one of the rooms completely unlocked. It was undisclosed and unprotected. I have young children and was completely unaware of this until we fortunately found it before and of my kids did. It’s VRBO policy that this is disclosed and it was not. Very frustrated with this safety issue.
We would definitely rent this place again!! It was nice and CLEAN and has space relax and unwind!!
This place way exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and quiet! The location is perfect if you want to be away feom the chaos of the towns and only a short drive to anything in the area to do.
Our stay was wonderful. The house was well equipped and stocked. Our 5th time to the Gatlinburg area but first in Townsend. We will definitely come again! Townsend is the quiet side of the Smokies but close to everything. Beth is an amazing host and takes care of her guest like family 😊
It was a great place to stay we even had a bear visit us

About the host
Hosted by Beth Piper
We are a family of five with 3 sons. We have three other overnight rental properties in the Gatlinburg area and a lakehouse on Douglas Lake in charming Dandridge TN. We love hosting guests at our properties and hope that our home provides the needed rest and relaxation from the hectic pace of life in 2020.
Why they chose this property
This property is a very charming and functional overnight rental because there is space to spread out and accommodate large families or multiple guests. Some will enjoy the covered porch while others may need to privacy and escape to one of our private decks to catch up on some reading or a good snooze. The firepit is a great place to finish off a long day under the stars, a relaxing soak in the hot tub, or a private hot bath in the clawfoot tub off the master bath.
What makes this property unique
As members of the Wild Laurel community, our renters have access to live music every Friday and Saturday night, a fully stocked bar and a community pool with the most beautiful views in the Townsend area while soaking up the sun. The covered porch is everyones favorite place to be and the perfect place to enjoy glorious sunrises and a hot cup of coffee.
