Sunshine Grove Lodge is the perfect retreat to luxury and nature. The grand lodge of 8,200 square feet sits on 800 acres of private grasslands, lush jungles and three lakes in the heart of Okeechobee, Florida. This unique and private rustic lodge in a beautiful landscape is a quick getaway from Orlando, West Palm Beach, Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Large wrap around porch looks out onto expansive scenic grasslands and jungle and is equipped with a grill for cookouts. The large inviting grand entrance lounge, media room, oversized master suite and well equipped kitchen makes the Lodge the ultimate getaway. Guests are free to run, walk and explore the expansive property that once a year is home to the iconic Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. Fishing and kayaking are available upon request as well. No pets please.

Honestly this property was beyond amazing! The property managers were amazing! Everyone I dealt with during the trip was great! The house was amazing!!! I have zero complaints and it was a great experience!!

Spectacular Event Setting

Whether you are throwing a casual family/friend get together or an elegant wedding, this is the place. The staff accommodated our every need with a response time that was amazingly quick. The jaw dropping, awestruck moment you get when you open the front doors of the lodge only gets better as you explore the enormity of it. The grounds are impeccable. I think the mere mention of a firepit on an island should be rewritten because it doesn't do it justice. The fire pit is made from a piece of culvert piping that is huge and deep and there are Adirondack chairs to put around it already there. At night, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (which you are) surrounded only by nature gazing into the flames of the crackling wood they provided. I recommend this property for any event.
