A beautifully updated 5 bedroom beach house in the exclusive Morgantown neighborhood with two community pools, tennis courts, and an easy walk to the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores.

Welcome to SunDaze, a beach retreat that we lovingly renovated into the ideal gathering place for family and friends-ours and yours! It's named SunDaze for our constant day dreaming of warm weather and sunny beaches. If you're longing for a beach get-away, SunDaze is the perfect place for you.

We offer a 10% Discount for 4+ nights and a 15% Discount for 7+ nights

FEATURES
- Sleeping for 18 with two king bed suites, one queen bedroom, and two bunk rooms and a sleeper sofa.
- Spacious, sun-lit living room with large window, a 55-inch smart TV and plenty of seating
- Dining area with stunning reclaimed wood table and wicker chairs
- Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances
- Relax outside in the sandy yard, or on one of our three decks with lounge chairs and outdoor dining furniture. We have a charcoal barbecue grill to help make the perfect meal for those after the beach evenings
- Deeded beach access in the neighborhood. Our house is an easy five minute walk to the beach boardwalk, and you'll pass the pools and tennis courts along the way.
- Extras include WiFi, Roku TVs throughout the house with YouTube TV, washer and dryer, books and board games
- Two community pools, tennis courts, and easy beach access

SLEEPING FOR 18
- Bedroom 1: On the main floor across from the back porch, this bedroom has a ing panel bed with access to a full bathroom, closet and TV.

-Bedroom 2: On the main floor with two bunks; a twin-over-twin and a full-over-full bunk beds, closet and TV.

-Bedroom 3: Upstairs, this comfortable room features a queen bed with wicker headboard, closet, TV, and access to the balcony (our favorite place in the house).

-Bedroom 4: Upstairs. This is the master bedroom, with stunning king-sized white panel bed, private bathroom, walk-in closet, and balcony with Adirondack chairs from which to enjoy the sounds of the ocean.

-Bedroom 5: The third bedroom upstairs, with a full over full bunk bed, nautical decor, a closet and TV.

LOCATION
Morgantown is the quintessential beach neighborhood. Step outside our front door and be greeted by the sounds of the ocean. Stroll the palm tree-lined streets to one of the two private pools, tennis court, or the beach!

Unfortunately, this property is not available to student groups. Families and those over age 25 are welcome!

Amazing home!

We had the best time staying here! There was plenty of room for everyone…. We had 18 people! It was close to the pool and we rented a golf cart to get to the beach access since I broke my ankle a month before coming.

Nice house

This is a really nice property. Quite neighborhood and really close to the beach. The house has most of the amenities that are needed. The only downfall was the nets and spiders. Other than that my family enjoyed their stay!

“Steps” from the beach is misleading.

This is not a beachside property. Though next time I will be even more careful, I would expect a property that comes up with a beachside filter vrbo search to at least have the beach in view! Listing a property with the title “steps from the beach” would lead you to believe that is a distinctive feature. The listing included pics with a house surrounded by sand. This is at least our 10th year of beach rentals and I’ve never had this issue. This property is several BLOCKS from the beach. You cannot see the beach or hear it. The walk would have been a 30 min walk at least with lots of kiddos on our family trip. Unit also was worn and not clean and the condition of the wood steps was not appropriate for children or older folks. We did NOT stay and were out the expense of renting a new place. A week later and I’m still waiting on a call back or even a response to my message. No one returned my call or my message. RENTER BEWARE

A very good week!

We had a great week! Plenty of room to spread out for my kids and grandkids. A short walk to the beach. The sound of frogs and alligators to lull us to sleep.

Filthy and not well maintained

Upon arrival, the property was not appealing at all due to over growth of yard, snakes and rats. Encountered plumbing issues from all bathrooms and kitchen. Due to being a holiday, owner assured plumber would arrive on Tuesday. Plumber finally came on Thursday and yard maintenance on Friday. All drains were clogged and foul oder was released. Each shower curtain had mildew. There were blood stains on one pillow case, food and trash in each bedroom, and bathroom vents were filthy. Owner would respond to concerns within a day; but again took entire week to have plumber and yard maintenance to come. Each were very nice and fixed the issues, but advised the owner requested yard to be mowed monthly and he would contact them. It is obvious the cleaning crew has not been doing their job weekly. I have requested for the cleaning fee to be refunded and the owner has yet to acknowledge. I would not recommend staying at this house or renting from Dustin

Great house for large group!

The house was perfect for our large family vacation! The kids enjoyed the pools, especially the pool behind the tennis courts. We were able to walk to the beach easily. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we decide to return to Fort Morgan next year.

The reservation process was very satisfactory. The renter responded promptly when I texted with questions. The property was just as described. My family had a great time. I would rent again only next time I will need more bedrooms and bathrooms.

Best large family gathering

We had 10 adults and 9 children ranging from 1 through 13....we had adequate indoor and outdoor to enjoy each other. The only problem we had was the oven door fell off.

Bucket list Family Vacation

The house was fine and set up well for larger family groups. Short walk to nice pool and beach. Maintenance and cleaning a bit lacking, common complaints with many renters in area. Owner very responsive to all communication. Overall a very nice trip. Would stay in area again. Family atmosphere, no parties or issues. Hopefully, the little issues can be resolved post-covid when people want to work again and owner can find adequate help.

Suggestions

Renting a place for that many people, there needs to be more comfortable seating available. In Addition to the Sofas there was only one comfortable chair in the living area. And a chair in the master bedroom upstairs would be good thing. Property could use a bit of a touch up, for instance window screens, outside shower, ceiling at parking spaces, But we had a nice time,

Amazing family adventure in an equally amazing home!

Our family of 12 adults and 5 children under age of 9 had an amazing 4 day 3 night stay. There was plenty of gathering space and lots of room to get away from each other too! The beach was beautiful and within an easy walking distance, and both pools were even closer for those who preferred that. Dustin was very responsive to all of my communication and made the entire process easy, even when we had to change the date! Definitely recommend!

This is the perfect place to vacation

I hate that we couldn't stay longer. This was the vacation home of all times. Close to the beach(private beach). Great location. Plenty of space. Plenty of privacy. Pure luxury and just plain fun. We will be back soon!!! Our family really enjoyed our stay. Family pics were great!!!

Wonderful House near the Beach

Pros The house is beautiful and clean and very spacious. We always do extra cleaning upon arrival for covid19 and this was the first place that did not turn the lysol wipes dark brown when cleaning so kudos to the cleaning service. Pool is heated and only goes to 5 feet so liked this for the kids. Good parking. Members of the community seemed welcoming. Loved all of the access to outside space via balconies and deck. Cons We were expecting a house on the beach however it was just a short distance away. One bedroom had a pest issue but the owner took action once informed. Need to bring your own pots/pans if you plan to cook.. the ones provided are not non-stick so that was a bummer. Notes: If you have vertigo DO NOT stay here... the house sways whenever someone walks up the stairs. I thought I was losing my mind or there was an earthquake happening the first time we felt this. Wifi is not great... I planned to work remote but had issues staying connected to Zoom.

5 star property

Our beach getaway was a great experience. The property owner was quick to reply and answer any questions I had. The property was a nice size. Great for parking multiple vehicles. The beach is a couple of blocks away but we rented a golf cart for rides to the beach which I would highly recommend doing. My only complaint was the cookware is very worn, one pan in particular was past worn out. I went to Walmart and bought a new pan for us to cook in so it was no big deal. I have never judged a property based on a pot or pan and that was my only complaint so I gladly give this 5 stars. Love the privacy this property gives. Fort Morgan and Morgantown are quite areas that are not as busy as the neighboring areas.
